Amanes watched as her dragon turned it's attention to the golden dragon. Then she glanced back up at Nandon as he spoke. She listened to him and smiled. She felt strange being around an elf. Ever since her friends that were elves died on the way to the Varden, she had made friends with humans for the most part. She still missed her friends that had died, but she knew they were gone, beaten by the Empire soldiers. The only reason she had traveled to the Varden was because her friends wanted her to come with them. And now the only reason she had stayed was because she wanted revenge. Revenge for killing the only people that had ever thought of her as sane for a little over 100 years.
"Thanks. And my name is Amanes Memorystalker. What's your's?" Amanes asked the elf as she brushed her dirty blonde hair out of her face once more.

Feanaro smiled the widest smile he had given in a long wile then bowed and said "thank you lady nasuada you are to kind and honor me by allowing me into this meeting " after that he made his way into the tent there were young dragons and equally young looking riders about the area. Spotting nandon across the floor speaking to another elven women a rider feanaro slightly recognized from another time. Makeing his way towards the two elves and the stunning purple dragon that feanaro assumed belonged to the women, as he neared the small group he stopped a few paces from the three "greetings shur'tugal it is an honor to meet you and your dragon. I am feanaro son of deraj". Feanaro paused a momment to look over at nandon "the names nandon right.....I believe we spoke briefly at the feast earlier".

Nepherion tried his best to keep his attention on the main reasons for the Varden's success. Eragon the Shadeslayer, Arya the Elf, Nasuada the Rebel Queen, and of course Saphira the Mighty Dragon. But every few moments a new Dragon and Rider would show up, and every time Nepherion just had to inspect and measure them up. As his head turned towards the glimmer of a violet scaled dragon, the thought of how it closely resembled Saphira came to mind. Than his gaze was turned towards a much larger dragon than the rest of hatchlings and immediately he thought of which was stronger, the crystal Dragon or the larger, Saphira. Even than, as he gazed around the crowd, the shimmering gold scales of a certain dragon caught his eye more. Turning his body slightly to face it, Nepherion thoughts touched Starlight's mind. Hey isn't that Caspian's Dragon ? What's she doing out here alone ? The white dragon twisted his neck slightly towards the golden scaled dragon in the crowd, not really attracting any attention to him or Nepherion. I think so... The dragon's voice faded out as he let his words linger in Nepherion's mind. Apparently having nothing else to say on the subject.
Nepherion's dull black trousers were tucked deep into his leather boots, not even the drifting fabric of his tunic made much sound against the bustling roars of the crowd. Everyone talking to everyone and everyone tried to be heard by everyone. It was really starting to abuse the sensitive organs of his and Starlight's ears. I'll have to start chomping at ankles if this meeting don't speed up. Starlight said annoyed with the crowd around him. Nepherion tucked his left hand into his pocket. Yea. I never thought you were this anti-social. The white dragon placed his slanted red eyes on the grand sapphire dragon in front of them. I'm not anti-social... I just like my wing space. With the crowd growing, I can barely stretch my wings. The regal dragon expanded his wing slightly before it was obstructed by Nepherion and a dark skinned human. Nepherion raised his shoulders and right knee in defense of the still growing wings. Watch those wings... Now I have to apologize to that man. Folding his wings against the back of his hide, the white dragon scooted closer to Nepherion. Sorry.
Nepherion groaned slightly before turning to the man, who was looking haphazardly towards Starlight. " Please forgive him.." He said scratching the back of his head with a pleasant smile. " He's still young. He doesn't know etiquette " The man bowed towards the young rider, something he wasn't completely use to. I know more than you... And probably more than most of humans here. Starlight said mockingly to Nepherion. The boy turned back towards Nasuada's back and awaited for the main members to start the meeting and cease their talking. I wish they would hurry up. Nepherion vented to Starlight. So do I, they waste time like grains of sand. The dragon let out a young yawn into the air, showing the sharp rows of his ivory fangs. As the small group continued to converse.

Nandon growls lightly disappointed at having there conversation interrupted "Yes... i believe so...Your feanaro correct? the one who gave the golden dragon there wine?" Then he would turn his attention back to the rider slightly irked over having the conversation interrupted like it was though she was a dragon rider nandon thought to himself glancing around once more and seeing arya the Elvin princess but he didnt really care he had seen her many times among the varden

The golden dragon was pleased when Nystia greeted her. She was watching the purple dragon now but didn't move. She was too curious about Saphira to go explore or play with Nystia right now. "Fricai (friend)", she said in greeting. She was starting to pick up on language more now but Fricai was her favorite word to say. However, she found she could only say it if it was true. Saying it to a stranger just didn't work that well.
The golden dragon watched Nystia for a moment before looking at Saphira again. Who she? she asked Nystia. The gold dragon did not know Saphira had even existed until today, let alone who she was.

Nystia smiled at the golden dragon. Kvetha Fricai. The purple dragon replied, which meant 'Greetings, friend.' Then she watched the golden dragon for a moment to noticed that she was very curiously in Saphira. The hatchling had probably never seen the large blue dragon before. She had been in awe when she first saw Saphira as well, for that was probably the largest dragon she had ever seen. Although, she had heard of Shruikan. Shruikan was said to be the King's gaint black dragon, and Nystia was frightened at the idea of ever meeting such a large and terrifying dragon
That is Saphira Bjartskular, Eragon's dragon. Nystia replied as she looked up at the majestic blue dragon as well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"It's nice to meet you, Nandon. And thank you." Amanes replied to the other elf with a smile. She had not been around an elf since her friends died on their journey to the Varden. That was probably the only reason she stayed with the Varden. Because she wanted to avenge her friends who had died fighting for what they believed in.
Then Amanes noticed another elf walking up to Nandon and her. She smiled at him as he greeted her and Nystia, who was off talking to the golden dragon. "Hello, Feanaro. I am Amanes Memorystalker." The elf said with a smile.
She would have told him who her mother was, but nobody knew her name let alone cared. Her mother had been an elven peasent in Ellesmera, and her father had died before she was born.
Then Amanes turned her attention back to Nandon before glancing down at his wounded leg. "You said you were a spy, correct?" She asked in a low voice as if to varify if she heard him correctly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Silis felt strange about being in humanoid form at the moment. She was use to having to sneak into places, not being formally invited. She hated it, or it at least made her extremely uncomfortable. She sighed as she glanced around the crowd of people that had gathered. She remained towards the back of the group, close enough to the shadows so that she could feel safe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nasuada watched as Feanaro walked away. At least someone seemed joyful about attending the meeting. As she looked around the group of people that had gathered, she could tell some of the dragon riders and others didn't seem very happy about having to come. Some would have much rather stayed at the feast.
Then Nasuada turned back to Eragon to see that Arya had come to join the meeting. She relaxed a little bit when she saw this. Arya needed to come, for she was the representive of Queen Izlandzadi, and Eragon had probably wanted to to come as well.
Nandon nods his head lightly as she asked the question "Indeed i am... Why do you ask?" he trailed off slightly uncertainly still wondering why he had told her this in the first place. he then runs a hand quickly through his black hair... the natural blue streaks in it seeming to shine slightly "So where are you from? if i may ask.." He asks curiously
The golden dragon's eyes shone with happiness when Nystia replied to her greeting. It felt more powerful a greeting too than just saying hello. She sat down and stared straight up at Saphira. From her vantage point Saphira looked huge and very very tall.
Her eyes snapped back to Nystia when she told her who the blue dragon was. "Saphira?" she repeated. She seemed more interested in Saphira than she was Eragon.
A thought hit her, why didn't she have a name? Everyone else did? Starlight, Nystia, Saphira even her rider did. Why didn't she have one yet. She posed the question to her friend, Nystia. "Why I not have name?" she said.
" I can't really see him. " Nepherion said as he scanned over Nasuada's petite shoulders and the heads of various others around her. By now, his attention wasn't on Saphira, but the rider that had claimed the glory and name of: Shadeslayer. He wanted to meet Eragon. Sure, Saphira lived up to her name, she was the most beautiful but did Eragon live up to the legends that so many had spread throughout the Empire and Varden. Was he truly the beacon of power that led the rebellion and gave them hope of killing the evil king. Nepherion wasn't so sure, he could only catch glimpse of his features. His brown hair and eyes, his angular features and almost elven like ears. A tired grunt was let out from Starlight as his rider look over and around. Than suddenly, he fit Nepherion perfectly into the nook of his shoulder and neck swiftly. It was perfect for Nepherion's small butt,the dragon raised him into the air. It allowed him a good four to five feet difference in height. Shocked and slightly surprised, Nepherion flailed his arms slightly before wrapping one between the spikes of his dragon's neck. With a slight grin he looked over the heads and caught a full shot of Eragon Shadeslayer. He look... Strong to his surprise. Amazingly strong in fact. He wasn't just some farm boy as many spoke, through the trials and battles of being a Dragon Rider, he somehow transformed and reformed himself.
Nepherion looked down at his own clothes, they were nice, but he wanted to rank up to the same status as Eragon himself and to do that he would have to be trained by the best. As he pondered on that thought, Nepherion's thoughts were suddenly and slowly broken down by Starlight. Are you seriously thinking that he'll accept us.. Out of all the candidates here. With a smug smile, Nepherion patted the dragon on the base of his neck for him to lower him. Once his boots touch the ground, he pull the tail of his tunic down so his frame would show better. As of matter of fact I do. I plan on making him my master. It's only logical right. No offense to the rest of the riders here. But I'm sure to be the best fit. I can only see myself, being trained by him. Starlight kept his gaze on the towering Saphira. Elaborate. What makes you any better of a rider than any of the others. The smooth dragon seemed to understand, but probably just wanted to here it out of his riders mouth. Easy. The elves here are too old, their capable but probably not willing to learn like me. And Caspain...He is a dear friend, but he doesn't have the resolve to bear through it, his heart wavers to frequently. I'm the perfect choice Starlight. Me and you, we'll be the apprentices of Eragon and Saphira. It's our place ! He shouted in his thoughts.
Starlight seemed to have been swept away in the mental waves of Nepherion's declaration. The white dragon voiced his opinion both mentally and physically. In the void space that linked their voices Starlight agreed. Indeed, We shall be victorious. But physically he roosted his head into the air and from his strong throat flourished a roar mighty enough to scared a male lion into hiding. It echoed out through the crowd, cause Nepherion to lowered his head between his shoulders and look around. Many of the people around him backed away from the bellowing dragon, while other stared harshly at their lack of manners. Nepherion looked around before straightening himself up. " I'm sorry guys, please forgive us.. " He said, blaming himself just as much as Starlight.
Feanaro stood there for a few seconds before he decided he would deal with nandon later. His comment towards feanaro seemed cold so before saying something foolish he decided to move about the room but not before he noticed nandon clutch his leg makeing a mental note feanaro turned on his heels and his gaze immediately fell apon sapheria. The rumors he herd were true she was the fairest in alagaesia her scales were a beautyfull blue feanaro could look at the dragoness for hours taken in the site she was. Next to sapheria stood eragon the rider feanaro had herd so many stories already about the boy seems young but wise beyond his years an thought feanaro herd what the dragons did for eragon during the blood oath celebration he never seen it "so this is what an elven/human would look like" feanaro thought grinning to him self.
Feanaro was almost lost in thought when a slight sparkle cought his eye from a bit to his left. Looking over feanaro noticed the white dragon he had seen not to long ago, most dragons were of different colors but this one was pure white it was oddly majestic looking almost like a diamond when the light reflected on it. On the dragon sat what feanaro assumed was its rider already makeing his way towards the pair he thought to him self what eragon would call this meeting for it had to be something quite important. Before he knew it feanaro was standing next to nepherion and his dragon he shouted slightly so the rider could hear him "greetings shur'tgual it is quite the honor and privilege to meet you and your dragon I am feanaro"he he said wile giving the appropriate elven gestures to the rider and dragon
Amanes shrugged and smiled slightly. "I don't know. Just wondering if I heard you correctly I suppose," the elf replied. Then she brushed her dirty blonde hair out of her face once more. Tomorrow I'll put my hair up. She told herself, for she was tired of brushing it away all the time. It got very annoying after awhile.
She refocused on Nandon when he asked her where she came from. "I'm from Ellesmera, in Du Weldenvarden," Amanes spoke in repsonse. She doubted she had to say that Ellesmera was in Du Weldenvarden. All elves knew about Ellesmera, for that was where their Queen lived and most other important elven officials. Except for Arya.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nystia continued to look up at Saphira, partly in wonder and partly in curiosity. She couldn't get over how beautiful the blue dragon's scales looked. She couldn't wait to fight along side Saphira in battle. Yet, she could have to wait a whole month in order to be big enough for Amanes to ride her. That was when she could officially fight in the war. And then she would have to wait another two and a half months to breath fire. She had seen Saphira's blue flames through Amanes's memories, but she would just have to wait to see what her own would look like.
When the golden dragon repeated Saphira's name, Nystia smiled, but she didn't looked away. Yes, Saphira. She said in a soft voice. Then the violet scales dragon turned her head to look at Eragon. The rumors were true, Eragon did look like he was half elf. Nystia had heard of all the things he had done, but she wasn't as interested in Eragon as she was her own kind. She only wished there were more dragons. With a small sigh, she returned her gaze to Saphira.
Nystia glanced over at the golden dragon when she asked why she had no name. She felt pity towards the other dragon, but she didn't really know how to answer. Then she replied with the first thing that came to her mind.
Everyone has a name, you just haven't found your's yet. Your name will most likely be given to you by your rider, but you could give yourself a name. Something that you think fits you, Nystia replied with a small smile. She didn't mean a secret name for that took days, or even years, of thinking to find out. No, she just meant a regular name that everyone could know her by.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nasuada glanced around the crowd of people once more. She was wondering when the meeting would get started, for everyone here seemed restless. She was slightly surprised that so many people had chosen to attend the meeting, but she guessed that they wished to know what Eragon had to say, just like she had. That was understandable. With a sigh, she turned her gaze to Eragon, Saphira, and Arya.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Silis flenched when she heard a dragon roar. She could tell it wasn't a very large dragon, for if it was the sound would have been nearly ear-breaking, but it had still caught her off guard. The humanoid glanced around at all the people until she spotted Nepherion and his snow white dragon. She remembered Nepherion from her assignment in Teirm. With a small sigh of relief, she relaxed her shoudlers and took a step closer to the shadows. She felt one hundred percent more comfortable there, but she chose not to completely disappear from sight yet.

Nepherion's leather boot tapped impatiently against the soft dirt of the ground, not even Starlight's calming imagery and feelings could soothe his impatience. The alabaster dragon placed a calmed ruby eye on his rider. Calm yourself. You tapping your feet will not hasten the Shadeslayer. A annoyed hissed was released from Nepherion's nostrils, his arms folded tightly against his chest as knots begin to swell from the tightening of his jaws. He spoke aloud in response. " Yea, I know. But does it really take this long. " A yawn escape his thin curved lips. I feel the same of meeting Saphira. But you don't see carving up man and elves alike do you. Nepherion was going to respond with another wail of agitation when he heard the title Shur'tgual shouted from over the crowd.
For a moment he stood still, not knowing where it came from until he saw another elf coming up to him. With his hand placed into his pocket the pale boy, turned his body slightly towards him and smiled. Waving away the slight annoyance of the meeting. As was the custom and the mannerly thing to do as a future rider. " Hey, du- " He stopped himself, figuring this was a perfect time than ever to attempt the elven greeting that Nandon attempted to teach him. Struggling and practically messing up every sequence of the greeting. He attempted the sequence where he would put the elf over himself, but he wasn't sure if he had done it right. Nepherion paused and perplexedly smiled at the elf. " Sorry.. I know I mess that entire greeting up. " He said extending his hand and lazily straightening out his back. " Nice to meet you, I'm Nepherion and this is Starlight. " His hand gestured towards the white dragon.
Starlight inspected the elven man with his crimson eye. He had seen many elves in the crowd, and of course Nandon had been teaching him and Nepherion alot since they met. Back than, he hadn't revealed he could speak to Nepherion, he was waiting patiently until he could speak fluently and flawlessly without error. Whenever Nepherion spoke to him, he would adopt a new word, or a way of enunciation into his vocabulary. He could only thank, Nepherion for most of his speech, though for now, he would keep that small point to himself. The young dragon hadn't moved an inch when the elf had approached, keeping his body towards Eragon and Saphira. Tell him I have little time for him. If he wishes to bask in my glory, tell him to be quick about it. Nepherion gritted his teeth slightly than released a hiss from between them. Being sure to seclude the Starlight into the confines of the void that linked them. I will not be rude to him. Why don't you tell him, almighty Starlight.
Starlight scraped one of his paws into the dirt, his talon easily tearing into the ground. I wish not to evade his mindset. It pains me to think that you would even suggest something like that. His voice barely even holding any emotions. Nepherion tightened his fist. Fine. I'll answer for you, than. Nepherion smiled towards the elf with flesh pink lips. " He says, he is very honored to meet you elf Feanaro. " From the tighten muscles of his jaw and neck, A low tone but short growl resonated from within Starlight. Than a crisp, dark cloud of smoke billowed from his nostrils, only a ruby eye was placed on the boy. A small, pleasurable smile shaped Nepherion's lips, knowing exactly why the dragon looked towards him.

The golden dragon listened closely to Nystia's answer. It was true that she hadn't found her name. Caspian called her Goldie, but that wasn't a name she wanted everyone to call her. Though it did fit her at least in color, it was not her name. A nickname maybe as her rider seemed to be found of calling her that lately. She really hoped he wouldn't give her that name permanently.
She liked what the other dragon said. She could give herself a name. One that she liked. It would have to be a pretty name and something that wasn't a color. She didn't like being called by a color. The golden dragon stared at Saphira, and a grin slowly grew on her face. Yes, a grand name was what she needed. Saphira had such a name, but it would not do to call herself the same thing, besides she wasn't blue and Saphira sounded too much like Saphire which was a color. No, no color name.
Why was she smiling then? Because the next thought that struck her was a name. A name she liked, one she wanted to call herself by. It sounded kind of like Saphira but it was not the same thing. And it would be her name. "I know what I want my name to be!" she said happily to Nystia. She did not tell her what her name was though.
She wanted to tell Caspian first. He would be the first to know her name. It only seemed right, after all he was her rider. "I have to find Caspian," she said the the purple dragon. Without awaiting an answer she ran off to find her rider. Why had he not come yet to this meeting to see the great Saphira?

Saphira sat sedately as the crowd grew; a small trickle at first soon growing to a roaring crescendo of emotion and voices. It pleased her immensely to see so many other dragons, she would love nothing more than to invite them to a flight with her after their meeting.
Yet she knew after this their uncertain existance would be thrown into a frenzy of preparation and frantic hope. She watched all the dragons closely, startling blue eyes observing all other beasts' closely without heed of giving any offense. She was in a remarkably good humour and was feeling almost ill with a mixture of excitement and dread.
Eragon started abruptly from where he sat with his hands upon the chest in which resided the eldunari of Glaedr. He looked up at Saphira and supressed a nervous grin. He looked up to Nasuada.
''Thank you, Lady Nasuada. I am sorry for choosing this meeting place..you will understand soon though.''
He tried his best to keep any indication fo the news from his voice in case of prying ears. He glanced speculatively to each of the faces present, some well-known to him and others entirely new. With what he said to Nasuada he was sure she would not allow anyone who was not trustworthy here- yet he was going to double check; reguardless of any offense he might cause.
A genuine smile broke over his face as Arya approached him and he felt an unpleasant lurch within. ''Arya! You...you're looking well. They are not present- the body guards. They're back keeping an eye on things within Belatona.''
In truth he didn't want anyone there that wasn't necessary. The fewer that knew what he had to say, the less at risk from torture under the hand of the Empire.
Saphira's wings mantled in unaccoustomed nerves as a very tiny golden dragon flopped toward her and reared to reach her face without fear- like a very old dog being approached by a young pup. She really did not want to squash the little one, she very pointedly kept the rest of her still whilst her head snaked down on her long neck.
A big blue eye shimmered as she examined the little dragon more closely. She was very aware she was being watched; yet this little one showed no apprehension or judgement. To it she was simply a big dragon and wanted to investigate. It relieved some of the pressure she had been feeling being responsible for the young hatchlings.
''Was I ever so small?'' she asked openly of Eragon, which brought out a bark of nervous laughter. ''You were smaller then that when you hatched.'' Saphira snorted in response and returned to inspecting the young dragon, forked tongue flicking out against it gently.
Eragon gently nudged Saphira through their connection and caught her attention. She raised her head and released a short, attention seeking bugle. With everyone's heads turned toward them Eragon stepped forward.
''I am sorry for the manner in which you were called here,- and for the way I have to do this. This is very important and we simply cannot risk this getting to the Empire. If you will all follow me into the tent- the fabric walls are not pinned down so the larger dragons can slip their heads underneath and be present. Once inside, everyone try to join minds with Glaedr here-'' he said as he opened the big wooden chest, ''- he said he will be able to convey everything to you, so none of this has to be spoken aloud. Those not used to mental connections, just relax and try not to fight it.''
Eragon did not mention the fact that with their minds connected Glaedr would be able to sense any malicious intend. He would have done it himself, yet he knew the dragon would be able to respond to any threat accordingly where he might fail.
As everyone made their way into the tent after him, he muttered a paragraph in the ancient language under his breath, whilst Glaedr opened his mind. With it, any ears nearby would hear a false conversation - an inane plot for new defenses around Belatona.
With the connection established, he reined in his emotions to allow the words to make their way through.
''During our journey where we retreived the dragon eggs, we encountered...a friend. An ancient dragon who was old during the time of the Great war between Elves and Dragons. He told us that just before the Battle of broken Egg and Scattered nest, many of the younger dragons and mothers made away with as many eggs and eldunari as they could carry. They left Alagaesia to try and escape the threat and protect their young. He made out there were more than one hundred grown dragons that fled - with an astounding number of eggs. They fled Alagasia in search of a safe haven....no one knew where they went save for him. Until now.. He has given me and Saphira instructions on how to get there. Saphira and I are going, as it is safest no one else knows the route. However we cannot let that secret die with us. We need to go as swiftly as possible, and will be followed by a number of ships for support. Our plan was for a small party of you will come with us leaving just enough to keep the Varden safe. We are confident Galbatorix will not strike against us until we reach the very gates of Uru^Baen. There is a chance he will try and re-take Belatona; the longer he and the Empire riders' focus on that, the less likely he will know our numbers are lessened. Most of the newest riders he is unaware of anyway..
Hopefully those dragons and their descendants are still out there and we can find them. I know it is a great risk, but me Saphira and Glaedr are in agreement that it is worth it, as we have no chance against Galbatorix without their help.''

Nepherion smiled at Feanaro, allowing Starlight to reluctantly accept the answer he had prompted towards the elf. Shortly afterwards, a large, booming sound erupted from Saphira. It caught everyone's attention in the little gathering. The crowd around him, quickly became motionless and quite. The once loud uproar had been silenced. All was quite, besides the few leaves that rustled and the occasional clothing that rubbed against or flapped in the wind. Within the mixture of nature's music, the few words that had interrupted the silence had started Eragon's sentence. Nepherion could feel Starlight's own determinate gaze on the veteran pair. And he could see, feel, and hear why. Eragon, had a voice of authority and leadership, even if he hadn't used it intentionally. Or maybe it was the giant, intimidating dragon beside him. Either way, when he spoke, people listened.
Hanging onto Eragon's words, Nepherion quickly touch Starlight's mind. This is it. The meeting is finally starting. Afterwards, I'll ask him... Are you willing to train with a Dragon so much larger than you ? His words filled with a resolve as strong as the bond that the two shared, it was certain to happen. Starlight on the other hand, brought a crimson eye on Nepherion's steady gaze on the two. A sharp pinch, brought his attention towards the white dragon. He conveyed his response with a gentle feeling of resentment. Of course I'am. Their is no fear in this heart of mines... In his words and his heart, hid no doubt or lies. Nepherion smiled, content with the dragon's answer.
The crowd around them had begun to move diligently towards the tent. It hadn't taken long, and only a few of the people their had actual dragons. Nepherion suspected that this would more involved the Riders than any other member of the Varden. While the crowd moved around the pair, Nepherion looked around and placed his hand back into his pocket. Well. We should probably get on the move. Gotta make sure I grab a good spot. . As if not to draw attention to themselves, Nepherion and Starlight attempted to converge into the crowd, smoothly.
The two stopped in front of the tent's entrance, Nepherion patted the Dragon's heart with his mind. Why so tense. We're only going to be feet apart. No need to worry. The hesitance from Starlight had rubbed off on Nepherion. The dragon wasn't exactly to happy about having to split ways. He felt extraordinarily attached to Nepherion and now they were being forced to part ways. They had never really left each other since he had hatched for him. Starlight turned his snout from Nepherion, before letting a small billow of smoke from his nostril. I know. Just call if you need me. I'm not to big that I can't fit under this thing. Starlight's open show of affection caused Nepherion to smile as he watched him saunter to the side of the tent. When the dragon left his sight he let out a sigh of relief than entered the tent.
Once inside, he pushed his away into the inner circle, amazed at the volume of people that was trying to occupy it. He released a sigh once he had made his way in front. The boy looked around towards the bottom of the tent. Starlight, Where are you ? He called out, his eyes vaguely searching for him. Starlight could feel the worry under his voice. He hurried over to the flap, where their minds were strongest and stuck his long neck under it, lifting it slightly. I'm here. Was you not the one that told me not to worry. Nepherion felt the tug on his conscious, immediately recognizing it and turning his head towards Starlight's crimson eyes. I didn't think it would take you that long to find a spot. Afterwards Nepherion closed his eyes and lowered the barriers on his mind. A moment later.. Eragon's voice begin to resonate through him.
Nepherion widen his eyes. He could feel the raw emotions exerting from Starlight's heart and mind. His own was very confused as well, but he could feel the excitement bubbling up, overwhelming the confusion. " So theirs more dragons out there ?! " He shouted, his voice much louder than he had liked. If their was more dragons, than they could possibly reign in their help and finally topple Galbatorix.

Arya's lips tweaked up at the corners somewhat when Eragon said she looked good. He probably hadn't seen her in a dress before. They had come straight from the feat in which she was required to wear a dress. Her mother would have murdered her if she'd done in her usual leggings, boots and tunic. Her mother would have probably had a heart attack too. Her mother was... traditional. Her eyes slid to Issie who was watching Saphira with calm calculation. With a slight nod of her head Arya could tell her friend knew Saphira was the egg which they had helped steal from the King and transported across the countries. Arya looked back to Eragon when he mentioned his body guards, he must have caught her look. She couldn't help but frown just a little bit due to the fact he was not being protected. Saphira would protect him with her life but she had an uneasy feeling Eragon would not stay in the living if his dragon was gone. Even if Arya spoke to him. She and Issie were there now at least so she wouldn't call on them just yet. She followed Eragon inside and sat on the floor rather careless of her dress and slid her hand into his and then into Issie's. Tierar, Issie's dragon, pushed her snout through the gap and rested her head beside her rider to join in in the conversation.
The information shocked both Issie and Arya who shared a quick, somewhat blank look as they mentally spoke to one another. It was an outstanding bit of information and one that eased both their hearts while troubling them too. If someone leaked the secret then the King and his followers would ... Unease gnawed at Arya's heart as she looked to Eragon and Saphira. Had they thought of such a thing? In telling such a big group? Her eyes flittered around the amount of people here. There were more dragons here than they had ever dreamed but...
"Eragon is this safe to tell so many?" she frowned when one of them almost proved her inner most worries by shouting out loud. Her eyes pierced the man who had exclaimed so loudly and was quick to remind him to keep his lips sealed and speak only with his mind just now.
"Nepherion, keep your voice down. We are to close to what was once an enemy city to speak aloud of such matters, it's risk enough we speak through the mind. Direct your thoughts out and we shall hear them.

as nandon heard the news he stiffened in surprise.. this could be his shot at becoming a rider or at least being around the riders and he smiled thoughts racing through his head faster than he could pay them any mind.. slowly he stepped forward and tried to speak but he discovered his voice was gone so he coughed lightly before finally speaking "I know i am not a dragon rider.... But it would be a honor if you would allow me to accompany you Shadeslayer On this mission.." nandon then did the elven gesture of respect before just standing there unsure of what else to do.

The small golden dragon was nothing but delighted when Saphira snaked her head down to look at her and her forked tongue flicked out against her.
Saphira was impressive to look at and perhaps one of the most well known dragons but the small golden dragon's curiosity was not because of that. It was simply because Saphira was the biggest dragon she had yet seen, and curiosity got the better of her.
She flicked out her own tongue in response before the meeting started. Still her rider was not here and she had to find him for two reasons. Darting off she ran to the kitchens and found Caspian there helping clean up. Without much explanation she grabbed at his pant leg and dragged him to the meeting.
Once there she slipped into the tent only just in time for it to start and without hesitation seated herself right next to where Saphira was.
Who was this Glaedr? His name sounded familiar like....wait...the gold dragon froze. Suddenly her full focus was on the Eldunari. Glaedr! Glaedr was Oromis' dragon! And Caspian had Oromis' sword! She was excited and wanted to speak with the old dragon.
Young as she was, she knew it was not the time to interrupt. Maybe Eragon and Saphira would let her talk to Glaedr later. But for now she reached out in thought and listened to what Glaedr had to say. Eggs? Had she been one of those eggs Saphira and Eragon had brought back, some how she was sure she had been one of them. She was young enough to fit that time frame.
But what came next was even more surprising. There were even more dragons! She really wanted to go with them to find the other dragons, it only felt right to search for her own kind. Unfortunately, she was only a few days old. She was not strong enough to fly with Saphira for the distance required. Even if she wasn't big enough for Caspian to ride yet. That was months out. More by accident than anything else she let all present know her disappointment in knowing she couldn't go.
Caspian had been unaware of the meeting until his dragon had run to get him. He went into the tent but stayed near the back and just tried to stay out of everyone's way. He was a bit disappointed when his dragon choose to sit by Saphira and not stay with him. But then again Saphira was impressive he wasn't surprised that the gold dragon wanted to sit near her.
His dragon flooded him with thoughts of Glaedr when the dragon's name was mentioned. Suddenly feeling self conscious he looked down at Naegling that hung from his belt. Would Glaedr be upset that he had Oromis' blade?
The meeting continued on and soon he forgot about it. His dragon suddenly asked him a question if she had been one of the eggs brought back. "Yes you were one of them, or at least I'm pretty sure you were," he answered. The gold dragon seemed pleased by his answer and perhaps even proud.
Caspian was interested in the news but had no desire to go. His life had been uprooted enough without chasing after dragons. But his dragon's emotion of wishing to go overwhelmed him. He didn't need to tell her she was too small to go, she knew that.
