Age: 18 years old

Preferred Weapon(s): Nasuada has a jeweled sheathed dagger that she usually keeps with her. She has strapped it to her waist and her forearm in the past.
She also keeps a smaller 4-inch knife in the bodice of her undergarments, just in case she needs it.
She began working as an archer in the Battle of Farthen Dûr, and has continued practicing archery ever since.
Appearance: Nasuada is a beautiful young lady with ebony colored skin, like most of the people whose family came from the Wandering Tribes. Although her skin is dark, it is not nearly as dark as her father's was when he was alive since he was born and lived in the Wandering Tribe for most of his life.
She has curves in her body that are slightly like a river, as she walks with grace of a princess, even if she does not hold such a rank within the walls of the Empire, she is the Leader of the Varden and had pride in herself because of that.
Her eyes are a soft brown, and they are almond shaped. She also has wide lips and round cheek bones. She has dense, mosslike hair that is normally pilled on top of her head in braids.
She wears dresses most of the time, made for the different things she needs to get done. The dresses Nasuada wears are usaully elegent, made for a princess. When fighting in battle, she has her own armor built for herself. When she rides horses, she wears a dress that is split at her hip and a pair of riding trousers.
She keeps her jeweled dagger with her all the time, and she keeps it strapped to herself, usually for close combat. She can also shot an arrow when needed to be a long way from the battle, but she is not seen with a bow and arrow very often. She knows many defencive moves and also how to fight, even if her father had not wanted her to be apart of war.
Personality: Nasuada is forceful, brave, and controlling like her father, Ajihad, was. She will take chances and try to make the right decisions for everyone. She has a quick working mind, and she is also very swift in combat.
She takes being the Varden leader seriously, and trys to do whats best for the Varden with all the choices she makes. She had to mature quickly since she is a young leader. The Council doesn't seem to think she is old enough to have complete control over the Varden, and they wish to use her as a puppet in a way, but she has worked hard to try to prove them wrong.
Her bond with Eragon and Saphira is treated as a completely equal as her bond with King Orrin, the leader of Surdan. She is often called Lady Nasuada, and sometimes Lady Nightstalker. She is friends with Princess Arya, the daughter Queen Izlandzadi, and is quite friendly with Orik, the King of the Dwarves.
Nasuada is not hard to be friends with, for she is kind and sweet, but she holds strong to her believes and will make sute that most people she meets know this. She is very loyal and devoted to the Varden. She is hardworking, wants her people to trust her and she will do her best to show them that she can be trusted.

Family:
Father- Ajihad (deceased)
Mother- Unknown (deceased)
History: Nasuada is the daughter of Ajihad, the great and awesome leader of the Rebel Faction, the Varden. Unlike her father, who was born in the Wandering Tribes, she was born in the Empire. Her mother is unknown, even to her, because her father merely showed up one day with her in his arms. They do know that her mother was the cousin of Sagabato-no Inapashunna Fadawar, a warlord over many tribes now deposed of his crown and scepter to being the chief of the Inapashunna Tribe as his defeat in the Trial of the Long Knives. No-One knows when she was born in the Empire and why her mother is kept a secret from the rest of the varden empire.
Prior to the Battle under Farthen Dûr, Nasuada and her father lived in Tronjheim, a mighty dwarf city, located in the Beor Mountains, that was the base of the resistance movement. When the king's Urgals invaded the dwarf tunnels and nearly destroyed the city in the battle, Nasuada secretly defied her father's orders to stay hidden and, being skilled with the bow, instead chose to fight alongside the archers. She was unperturbed by Ajihad's later rage.
After the battle, Ajihad was slain in a surprise Urgal attack. The Council of Elders named Nasuada as Ajihad's successor, hoping that she would be a puppet in their hands. To their dismay, however, Nasuada proved to be master of her own mind. Eragon and Saphira swore allegiance to her, showing their support to her over their support of the Council of Elders, and Nasuada took the leadership of the Varden entirely into her own hands.
Nasuada was not really happy to become the leader of the Varden. She was depressed at the fact that her father was dead. The people of the Varden also did not accept her as their leader at first. Later on, she accepts that she is the leader, and so do the people of the Varden through her excellent leadership. She ruled fairly in small disputes, and even found a way to make lace to sell for gold to supprt the Varden. She had the good sense to keep Elva with her at all times before the release of her burdens, especially during an assasination attempt.
When resources his an all time low in Tronjheim, Nasuada had the Varden move to King Orik's kingdom of Surda. After many months, the Varden and the armies of Surda marched together to battle Galbatorix on The Burning Plains, along the Jiet River. Nasuada, King Orrin and their generals plotted out their battle strategy. Just hours before the conflict begins, they were joined by a transformed Eragon and Saphira. Mounted on a roan stallion, Nasuada led the Varden and the Surdan troops into battle. Eragon and Saphira fought also, and, along with the Varden's spellcasters, protected Nasuada and her troops. Although an enemy Dragon Rider, Murtagh, appeared on the side of the Empire, the surprise arrival of dwarf troops enabled the Varden and King Orrin to defeat Galbatorix's conscripted forces, in the battle.
Nasuada succeeded in maintaining peace between humans and Urgals within the Varden with only a few incidents damaging this trust on both sides. She has the diplomatic sense to send Eragon to Tronjheim to help chose a new Dwarf King that was sympathetic to the Varden's cause. She also managed to maintain discipline within the Varden with hanging and the whipping post. Nasuada managed to defeat many challenges to her position, such as Fadawar in "The Trial of the Long Knives"; her victory gave her the allegiance of the Wandering Tribes and an increase in the soldiers at her command. Nasuada managed to bolster the morale among the Varden at the times when she could not fight because of her wounds from the trial, but she fought alongside them in spirit. She also boosted morale by having Eragon visit to the wounded also.
Now the Battle of Belatona has ended and Nasuada has also allowed the Werecats join the Varden's forces. The Varden is getting stronger, but she still worries about the Empire's power from time to time. All the can do is fight their best and hope that everything will turn out ok.
Anything extra: I hope this is ok! If I need to add a roleplay sample then I will.
