Thousands of people swarmed through the roads. If the Empire attacked now, everyone would die. Only problem was that Saphira was the only grown dragon. Glaeran was proud that he was large enough to ride. The thin, molded leather saddle slid a bit as the green dragon allowed the wind currents to sway him. It was kind of soothing to fly free.
Zander smirked as he saw all the smaller aerial creatures fly away. The human rider now understood why Glaeran enjoyed the open skies. Zander nudged Glaeran's mind. We need to land. I have to find Amanes and give her this item. Land over at that small creek. Glaeran banked and replied. I don't understand it. Why are you going to give her that? Zander ignored him and jumped off the dragon's back.
The grass tickled his legs as Zander drew energy forth and created the fairth. This fairth was different though since there were small diamond shards in the back. These shards created the glimmering letters of Amanes' name. Now that the fairth was created, it was easy.
Zander sent out tendrils of thought to look for Amanes. The whole time he looked at his depiction of the sun setting behind the figure while the moon shone above the head. Amanes' shadow extended behind her and wrapped around the pale blue light. Shattered steel rained down from above Amanes' figure. All of this was on a grassy hill with a large purple dragon at the top.
