Nepherion rested the wrist of his left hand on his side as he searched the desert. The sun's orange light dimmed the area with a brilliance that almost made him drowsy. With a sigh he turned from the sight that brought him some joy and looked towards Nandon and nodded. Starlight ? Do you want to talk to him ? he asked. Still a ways from the two, Nepherion looked over his shoulder and gazed at the shimmering picture that Amira was casting above them.
Once Feanaro had departed from the saddle, Starlight turned his crimson gaze on Nandon then back towards the sky. With a snort and a spark of white flames Starlight declined. I would rather not. Nandon tends to boil my blood. And at my current temp I'd crush him without a second thought. he said in a growl. The dragon shook violently for Nandon to get out the saddle. He was honestly ready for Nepherion to untie the saddle.
Once Nandon had departed, Nepherion strode pass the approaching Caspia and in-between the dual dragons. Starlight was much larger then Amira, but it was apparent that they both held a superiority complex. Nepherion half-heartily smiled towards Amira before he had begin unstrapping the saddle from Starlight's back. You should really talk to Nandon-elda. I don't want your arguments weighing us down. Starlight ignored his Rider for the moment, only squaring his massive paws and looming over Amira in a show of dominance in response.
Nepherion patted the shimmer hide of Starlight as he brought the saddle under his arm and carried it off to the side. It was there that Brojska's hilt shuffled against his side and he felt the tug on the ward covering Bid'Daum's pouch. The hilt had the potential to knock it from his waist band, it was a good thing that the hilt had only nicked it . The spell had drained only the smallest of energy from Bid'Daum. He placed the saddle on the ground and cuffed the large diamond. He closed his eyes and shot his mind towards him.
Bid'Daum... I know I should probably go to Starlight with this. But I'm nervous about this whole thing. Nepherion felt like he seen Bid'Daum lift his head up from a good sleep. Then from his slumber that same irreplaceable amount of power shot forth and touched with his. You have every right to be. You are about to undergo a change that will affect not only you but the fate of those around you. I would expect nothing less but anxiety. Nepherion thought for a moment, seemingly in a daze to anyone else. You're right Bid'Daum-Ebrithl. I appreciate your words. he said resting his hand on Brojska. You will make it through. Though I would rather entrust the faith of my carrier to the new Eragon. You for some reason see something in these hatchling elves. I shall trust them, just as you do.
For a moment the two exchanged words and Bid'Daum grace Nepherion with his memories on the ancient art. Afterwards, Nepherion allowed Bid'Daum to return to his dormant. Feeling the breeze from the approaching night, Nepherion shivered a little then looked towards Caspia. With a smile he nodded. " Yea. I was hoping to speak with you again. " he said with obvious bliss. Nepherion brought his hands to his side and stepped next to her. Ready to follow when she begun her track.
Starlight staid beside Amira, he even begin to become personal. He brought his snout towards her face and sniffed at her. It took only a second for him to pull away from her. I admit your skilled at flying. But were you trained by the great Saphira like me ? I doubt it. he said proudly. He unfolded his wings and allowed them to drape over her. I could beat you in any kind of contest. For I'am the most majestic of all dragons. He let out a challenging roar to any creature within earshot. It was deafening and loud enough to annoy the sensitive ears of the elves. He pawed at the sand with a single forearm, leaving trench like opening where his talons had pierced it's surface. Starlight looked towards Nepherion as the conversation between Caspia and him had passed through the bond. Be safe little one. I have much to keep me busy with this upstart here. he said to him.

Feanaro stood there quietly watching the small group. It appeared the dragons had some sort of conversation because starlight let out a challangeing roar. Am fean merly let out a small grin. Speaking out loud and to no one particular feanaro walked over to the packs holding their things "well I don't know about the rest of you but im hungry. Wile you two go walk im going to see if I can't get us something for dinner." Feanaro removed his bow and quiver of arrows from his pack and slung them across his back. Once he tightens his straps to how he liked then feanaro looked over at nandon "hey nandon care to join me hunting an gathering always works best with two people".

Amira spread out her wings in front of the white dragon, the sun shone through them sending a fixture of tiny purple rays all over the ground. She did not look at them for her eyes stayed glued to the white dragon, Starlight. She stared at him, infuriated by his display of dominancy. Because she was by far my superior to him. It was not often that she went to such lengths to show her superiority, but Starlight and she always had this going, they liked to outdo the other and prove that the other was better, even though they both were equals. With a roar that matched his own she lifted her front legs off of the ground before driving them back down, the ground vibrated with her strength and she turned to black eyes onto the white dragon.
With another giant roar she sprung up into the air, her tail smacked him on the side, daring him, challenging him to follow her and beat her, she was the queen of the sky and no one was better than her at flying. She might admit that Starlight was bigger and stronger, but he was not faster and more agile, she had her size for a reason. With a small wink at the white dragon she sawed away. Maybe he would follow maybe he wouldn’t.
Caspia watched, a small grin drawing itself across her features as Amira roared, before throwing her slim figure the sky. Caspia looked away from her dragon her eyes turning to Nepherion. She eyed him for a brief moment as they began walking down a worn track. She knew this place better than any dwarf, they may rule the land underground, but above that she was ruler, she had lived her for over six years, searching and scouring the land daily for anything new and of interest.
Her feet skittered along the ground and she felt awkwardly self-conscious as they walked. ”How have you been? I mean like, what you been up to?” She mumbled looking away. With a sigh she looked at the rising mass of grey clouds that dotted the horizon. ”You still with the Varden?” She asked.

The white dragon watched Amira's display, but was unimpressed. Sure she was dazzling when her scales reflected the giant-fireball-in-the-sky's rays, but besides that she was weak. Her fragile body was easy to break and for that he pitied her, for running could only get you so far. As she roared at him, Starlight arched his back up and snarled, revealing his vicarious ivory fangs. His sturdy body endured the small tremor she brought from down on the ground. But he fell on his side once she sprung up into the air and struck him.
With rushed flaps of his wings, Starlight brought himself back on all fours. His pride was slightly hurt, but was quickly overcome by the fun of it all. He could barely contain the primal urge to chase her down and out do what she thought she was best at. Starlight brought his neck high into the air and roared a bellow that Amira couldn't possibly conjure, one so powerful that it had strained his massive lungs and threaten to spew flames into the heavens. Afterwards, he burst from the ground and toward Amira, spiraling his body down her previous sky-trail. As he approached her small frame, he came around to her side and steadied himself. The sight of a creature larger then herself must have driven her crazy. You will not best me. he declared before snapping at her back fore-leg playfully.
Watching the two openly display dominance was almost like watching an open display of affection. It seemed like they both liked each other to Nepherion, but what did he know. He was still a kid himself right ? Or atleast that's what everyone thought. Before they departure, Nepherion took a wondering look at Amira, his eyes slightly lowered. What do you think about me Caspia. Do you think I'm a kid. He kept his thoughts to himself, to ask them openly would be a disgrace to his Rider authority. He let out a disappointing sigh before following Caspia.
Nepherion staid only a couple of feet behind her at all times. He felt like his alabaster hair was probably messy from the day's ride. And he knew his clothes were. But none of that mattered right now. He carefully placed his hand on Brojska's hilt, all the while keeping a gentle eye on the back of Caspia's fire-like hair. A grunt came from Nepherion as he heard her question. " Well.. I've been basically training like crazy. " he started. " But it seems like it isn't doing me any good. Eragon hasn't seen it fit to send me to any serious battles. " A chuckle escaped his lips at his self pitied words. His mind wondered to the journey he had taken to the dragon's homeland and his encounter with the first Eragon and Bid'Daum. That was a hectic adventure and surely something to comment on, but Bid'Daum's identity was to powerful to just expose. He feared that even Galbatorix would come after him if it was made common news. He brought his eyes back on Caspia and spoke. " What about you, you been on any crazy adventures without me ? " he asked softly.

Nandon growled slightly angry at everyone forgetting he was even there...Then he turned and looked at feanaro as he spoke. his stomach growled lightly at the thought of food and he walked over and picked ryu up since he had been exploring on the ground he turned back to feanaro and nodded looking around he perked his ears up and heard a faint stream sound "We should probably head over that way...I think I hear a stream and where there is water...there are animals..." Nandon said walking in that direction holding Ryu in his arms

Feanaro smirked as he watched nandon scoop up his little dragon. Perking his ears slightly the elf also herd the stream that seemed to be not to far off. An we're there was a stream there were animals an also salmon an feanaro loved salmon. As nandon headed towards the sound of the water feanaro looked to the sky an took a deep breath in through his nose, opening his eyes the elf held his gaze for a momment an smiled widely as he then followed nandon into the brush.
Keeping his bow strung with one loose arrow feanaro moved silently as he cought up with nandon, he did not know this fellow well but from his greif meetings with him he enjoyed his company. "So nandon what do you make of nepherions plan?. Though I truly believe we have nothing to worrie about I can't help but side with caution ".

Amira snorted as the white dragon tried to out race her, no dragon could beat her. It was impossible. Starlight playfully snapped at her leg and she moved it at the last second, to humour him. Flapping her wings in a steady rhythm she almost begun to hover in the air, staying in one spot, just moving up and down with the way her wings helped her keep flying. Her purple eyes gazed out across the lands, sparkling with mischief. The sun danced its way across the sky in a symphony of shades of oranges, yellows and reds. For a brief moment she felt herself just stare at it and the way it rose above the tree with far more grace and elegance than anything. It was proud and larger than anything she had ever seen, it towered over the trees and every living being like a mother does to a child. It was as if in a way the sun was the mother of the world she lived on.
Tilting her head slightly to the left she half closed her eyes, squinting at the flaming ball of light, where only her grace, pride and strength could match it. Her tail swished in the air and she eyed Starlight. He was big, an impressive animal, but size did not always count for much. Her tongue flickered out like a snakes, before sliding back into her mouth. Faster than nay dragon could move she lunged at him, batting him playfully with her wings before soaring out of reach. If he wanted to prove his strength he would have to beat her in a fight and no one had ever beaten Amira. She was and always will be the queen of the sky, the daughter of the sun, for it was she and only Amira who could in anyway match the beauty that was held by the sun.
Amira, daughter of the sun. The name made her snort in approval, she liked the sound of it as it rolled off of her tongue, although she could not speak it, the words formed in her mouth and it sounded perfect.
Caspia felt herself drawn to the dragons as the played in the sky. The invisible thread that connected Caspia to Amira was more precious than anything in the world; she would do anything to protect her dragon at any cost. Amira’s feelings of happiness and joy played in Caspia’s mind and she couldn’t resist the smile that tugged at her lips. Nepherion’s words distracted her and her smile faltered for a brief moment at the intrusion into her own thoughts. But the smile remained on her face as she looked at the human-elf-dragon-rider.
”Not really. Been basically just staying out of the way, messing with the Empires men and having fun. I’ve been training hard as well, but it is awfully hard to train when you have no one, but yourself.” She replied. She bit her lip, hesitating, she hadn’t meant to bring her own problems into the conversation, but the only person she had spoken to was Amira, and after a few months of the same person it becomes dull and boring.
She missed being able to talk with others. She however, did not regret ignoring other elves. Her lingering hate for them made her sometimes want to cry. Sometimes she would sit on a rock and just think about what had happened and how nothing she would ever do would change it. And if that by any chance she ended up being told they were sorry and that it was their mistake how she would turn around and walk away. She had had her heart torn in two once. No apology was ever going to change what the elves did to her and she was sure she was forever going to hate them.

Starlight flew to Amira's side as she pulled her foreleg from his playful little snap. As he gazed up, he peered at her scales, they sparkled so brightly that not many words could be used to describe them. How beautiful. He thought to himself. Never being capable of actually saying it aloud. Starlight's crimson eyes flashed with anticipation as she lunged at him. Batting her wings towards her, Starlight rolled to the side and with ease made chase after her.
The colors of the sky above painted their blurred image on his diamond scales, allowing a mosaic of orange, red, and blue to come to life on his massive body. A bugle of joy rose out his lungs as he outstretched his wings and allowed the current to press him towards Amira. Not even the departure of the fire-ball-in-the-sky could halt him. He attempted to gain the upper hand by flying above her where the eddies were at its strongest. Starlight than dove towards her from above and attempted to wrestle her down to the ground.
Nepherion grasped his white scabbard as Starlight's emotions flushed through him. Mixed emotions became his own and for a second he was force to lessen the bond. " They are enjoying each others company aren't they ? " he sighed. He removed his foot from the uprooted leg of a tree and brushing his alabaster hair from his eyes before approaching Caspia. After she had spoken her face.. or moreover her body felt somber or sadder. He had seen this a couple of other times but never spoke on it. This time he would. " Caspia. " He started. His voice fragile with tone of a worried companion. " Why do you look so sad ? " Nepherion's blue eyes showed the steel worry in his heart. Even if he was trying to act like the Dragon Rider he was.

Nandon looked into the river as they reached it and watched the salmon swimming upstream... ((Slamon do that right?)) and smiled hungrily as ryu wiggled jhis way out of Nandons hands and leaped into the stream splashing around as he grabbed two fish quickly and devoured them. Nandon laughed as Ryu crawled out then using magic Nandon lifted three fish out of the water and twirled them around infront of Feanaro then one of the salmon quivered and its tail would have smacked feanaro in the rface and Nandon froze laughing as the fish hit feanaro then his face took on a more serious aspect "I dont know...Since I first met nepherion I have begun to think of him as well...A part of my family..And while I dont love his reasons I will stick by them... I do however agree withyou in saying caution is the best side in this... :

Amira roared in delight, enjoying the way that Starlight wanted to play, it had been an awful long time since she had played with anyone other than Caspia and she missed it. She missed being able to twirl in the sky and fly with another dragon. She had never thought that Caspia’s false punishment would affect her in the way that it did, but it did. She missed out on being with her own kind, she missed so much. She didn’t mind it most of the time, because she had her rider, who was safe, but than other times when Caspia went off by herself and locked Amira out, she felt it.
The loneliness of what was really around her would sink in.
Amira eyed the white dragon, the light of the fading sun through an assortment of colours on him and they danced across his scales in a mad dash as he flew over to her, she flashed him a toothy grin as he tried to gain the upper hand. If he went over her tried to stop her as he was doing he would be able to overpower her, being much bigger than she was. And if they were both going to go into a step dive he would be faster because he was heavier and Amira knew that the heavier dragon fell faster.
She just had to play to her strengths, weaving in and out of his grasp, moving around him in dizzying circles and ducking, rolling and flapping out of his reach. She had to be careful one wrong move would end her in his grasp. Starlight dove down from his position above her. She let out a small jet of flames to attempt to distract him. Spinning she begun to dive, but after only a few seconds of feeling the wind tunnel around her she sharply stopped and with a few beats oh her strong wings she moved metres away from the diving dragon.
Caspia blocked out Amira, not wanting to let her joy and happiness get ruined by her own feelings of sadness and regret. She tugged gently at the bottom of her tunic, trying to think of something to avoid Neph’s question. She had done it a many of times, being able to avoid him even asking the question. In the end she sighed, reluctantly turning her ice blue eyes onto his face. The worry in his blue eyes made her heart flutter, he really did care.
”I don’t know if I have ever told you anything of me past.” She frowns, the memories of it all racing through her mind. The queen’s words ringing out clearly into the air, Caspia kneeling before her, being forced to do such by magic. Her hands cuffed and everyone, all the eyes looking at her like a traitor, like a piece of foul dirt. She shuddered. She could remember every word of what the queen had said to her, of how she would be merciful, but her mercy would make it that Caspia would never have a home and instead –unknown to them all- live with a crime she did not commit. She looked away from his worried gazed, should she tell him the whole truth? Or just enough to satisfy him?
”A long time ago I use to live in Du Weldenvarden, but I left. My leaving was however, was no choice of my own. A girl, an elf that I knew very well committed a horrid crime. Crime that is forbidden amongst the elves. I don’t know what I did to make her hate me, but I suspect it had something to do with the guy she liked, liking me, but of course I knew none of this at the time… So she killed my brother…” Her voice falters, an unfamiliar prickling sensation fills her, and her vision goes blury for a brief moment. Taking a deep breath she continues. ”And she did it in a way that even magic could not link her to the crime and instead it was all linked to me. You see murder amongst the elves, of their own kind is the most unforgivable thing anyone could do.”
“They did not hesitate to get rid of me. So I was forced to leave, being told how horrible and disgusting and a vile scumbag that I was, I was beaten on my way out and bashed and forced to do things against my will because of magic… I have always hated elves from that. I don’t think I will ever trust one again.” She hadn’t realised her hands had begun to shake and she hastily shoves them into her lap to make sure no one saw it. She didn’t want to look at Neph, she couldn’t bring herself to.

Starlight dove towards Amira, his talons outstretched as he attempted to grasp her in them. But his grapple failed, her slithering body was too agile and quick., not to mention a certain amount of flames had distracted him. A bit of frustration rushed through the pale beast, causing him to snarl in response. Her toothy grin had brought a spark of fire in his belly, a bit of competitiveness. You will not best me. He growled to himself. He redoubled his efforts and twisted when her body twisted and rolled when she rolled. It was taxing and straining considering his size. Starlight took deeper breathes and wondered when she would tire of the maneuvers. He was honestly quite happy that she wasn't an enemy dragon.
He soon grew tired of the chase and begin to devise a plan that would out smart her instead. Starlight crimson eyes darted form side to side as he chased after her. Looking for anything that could be of use to him. Unfortunately he found nothing. The grainy sand underneath them offered little, but the clouds overhead offer camouflage, something he looked down on normally. He raised up into the clouds above, his body surely disappearing. As he flew overhead, his shadow was sure to appear on the clouds, but he cared little about it. Shadows had a way of messing with ones mind. Starlight flew in-between the clouds, staying overhead until he felt the time was right. Than suddenly the crackling sound of him releasing searing white flames exploded from his maw and through the clouds in-front of Amira, blocking her path. Right afterwards he burst from the cloud at full speed towards the purple beast. A roar of victory tearing from his lungs.
Nepherion gazed into her eyes and initially was shocked when she started to tell her story. He always felt that she had hid a terrible pain in her. But he had never known that it was that deep. He had felt a new closeness and respect towards Caspia. Her ordeal was extremely personal and for her to share it with him, must have meant she felt some kind of trust in him. Once she had finished, Nepherion stared at her with somber eyes. I have to find some way to comfort her. He thought to himself desperately. But what could he do, what could he do to comfort one with so much pain bottled inside. No amount of magic could cease the emotional pain, and no words could numb it. He would have to unveil his heart and try to lessen as much as he could.
Nepherion sighed silently as he built up the courage he would need for this. He stood up from the branch he had rested on to hear the story , than walked over to Caspia. He cuffed his hand around hers and smiled the most assuring smile he could. His eyes were compassionate as he crouched and looked up at her. He could think of anything to say, so he didn't. He really just wanted her to know that he was there for her if she needed him. Hopefully that message had gotten through.

Apon arriving at the river feanaro chuckled at the site of nandons little dragon jumping in the icy waters after the salmon.deciding to catch some with his bow feanaroyou was about to begin the process of takeing off his boots, when nandon summons 3 salmon with magic. "Now were is the challenge in that nandon? Catching your prey with magic is cheating your not giving them a fair chance now are you" the elf said jokingly. His father always tought him to hunt with out magic it was more challenging an fair to the hunted. Before fean could begin to work on his boot straps nandon suddenly began circling the salmon around feanaros head an out of no were one of the fish began to spasm an it smacked feanaro in the face.
Feanaro looked at nandon seriously for a momment "you know I should shoot you in the knee with an arrow for that". But After a momment feanaro began to laugh a bit at what just transpired and he went on to take his boots off as nandon spoke. When nandon finished speaking fean grabed his bow an made his way into the cold water, drawing his bow back almost all the way the elf waited patiently for the right momment. As he waited he kept his gaze in the water but still spoke to nandon "yes it would be foolish to not be cautious.I do not know nepherion all that well we have only met briefly on a few occasions, but from whatever I've learned about him an from what I can see I believe this task will not go astray and I hope I am right. "the sound of feanaros bow being let go could be herd after he finished speaking "the what do you know of nepherion an in extension this female we ars with as well her i do not know at all"
After a few minutes feanaro came out of the river with three salmon as well but with arrows through there sides. Knowing that most riders don't eat meat and that the renal was an elf an thus probably didn't eat meat fean knew they would have to go search for some fruits, nuts or greenery.

Nandon looked at the altogether six salmon with slight interest and he felt his stomach growl hungerly as he began to think of all the ways he could cook this salmon…Fried…Boiled…Stew… “Mmmm stew…” Nandon said in the confines of his mind and he felt a sudden increase in attention from ryu and he chuckled inwardly “Do you agree with that Ryu? Hmm? Salmon stew? With carrots…And potatoes…And….Hmm what else do I have in my pack…Oh well I’ll find out when we get back to the camp…” Nandon said and Ryu spoke up “Stew does sound nice…But what is it?” Ryu asked and Nandon forgot the dragon was very young and not used to eating cooked food… “Well ryu…Stew is when you cook something… put it in water with other stuff for flavor…Then serve it…” Nandon said not really knowing how to explain what stew was. “Oooh Sounds good…Can I have some?” Ryu asked innocently and Nandon almost fell out laughing “Yes ryu...You can have some…” Nandon said then smiled as ryu walked up to Nandon and rubbed his head against his leg like a cat. Smiling Nandon picked him up relying on magic to keep the fish floating behind him. Turning back towards Feanaro Nandon asked “So I was thinking I would make one of my famous stews with this salmon…That is if you don’t mind sharing what you caught with what I caught…” Nandon said suddenly finding it impolite to just assume this elf who Nandon knew from experience could eat...Would share his salmon with the rest of them just to be nice. “I agree with you…This woman nepherion is with I have never seen but I feel as if I could sense a animosity between us and her…Though we did just meet her so perhaps that is the cause.” Nandon said speaking seriously for a moment before finding his mind once again pulled back to the though of food “Lets see.. I have carrots… potatoes…I think I have some dried rabbit jerkey…I know I have red wine…” Nandon said speaking out loud then instantly turned wide eyed back to Feanaro “Oh! Don’t tell anyone about the red wine…I may or may not have taken that from king orrins private storage…So…Ya…” Nandon said picturing the king and the look on his face when he realized his last bottle of red wine was gone… “Ha…” Nandon said inwardly provoking a mentally raised eyebrow from ryu to which Nandon just shook his head “Nothing ryu…Nothing.” Lifting his head up to the sky he noticed just how dark it had gotten… Golden streaks of light flitted through the now dark blue sky as the sun set just over the horizon… Nandon turned and watched it for a few seconds then smiled happily. “I think we should be heading back to camp about now… Unless you wanted to gather a few local greens…” Nandon said looking around before nodding to himself at his descision to go back. Turning back along the way they had come he stopped and waited for Feanaro to catch up.

Feanaro was takeing his arrows out of the fish he cought he noticed nandon must have been chatting with his dragon Judgeing by the blank look on his fellow elfs face. Feanaro was thinking about how to cook these salmon, back at camp he had his pouch of salt an some other greens for seasoning that he had collected on his travels. But wile he thought nandon finally back from his mental conversation with his dragon. "Of course I will share my salmon there are three of us an I remember the damage you did back at the pub in belatona ... hmmm one of your famous stews you say, sounds good to me its been a wilebsince I've had a good soup or stew".
Feanaro chuckled at nandons thievery of king orrins red wine,he never thought much of the king of surda. "Hahaha do not worrie you're secrete is safe with me personally I think orrin or do with a few less bottles of wine." Think about the greens he had back at camp "well I do have some seasoning back at camp I have my salt an some greens that would make that stew or yours smells an taste.... quite divine. And along the way I believe I seen some berries we could pick as well."the fean did not know ifbthe other two ate meat so he figured he an nandon should grab some fruits.
As he cought up with nandon he felt a prickle on his consciousness an fixed a small grin across his face before he turns his thoughts to the female rider "yes I too sensed a certain animosity about her but as you said it could just be her personality but as long as she does not cross me in a wrong way I care not about why she is the way she is". Feanaro narrowed his eyes in annoyance before he calmed him self. There were tines his attitude an emotions got him in trouble it was one thing he was still working on.

He came out of nowhere, his figure blending in with the clouds. Suddenly he was in front of her, his claws out ready to grab her and she could do nothing, but fly towards him, so she did. A playful grin crossed her features, her tongue flicking out cheekily. Seconds before they collided she twisted, her body going upside down, her small frame gave her the ability to twist and turn, spin and flip at remarkable speeds. Besides she practiced all the time. With a sharp jerk she shoved her body downwards, so that her had would collide with his stomach, but as she neared she spun in rapid circles, like a torpedo, for the first spin she needed her wings to get her going, but after that it took practice and Amira, to say the least had a lot of free time on her hands.
As she collided with Starlight she was still spinning, when she hit him she angled downwards so that when their scales touched she more or less slide along them. She spun past his left side; his momentum would make it very difficult for him to make an abrupt stop before turning and chasing. Gleefully she threw her mind out to his, wanting to engage in a conversation as they flighted. Size does not count for everything. I have so much free time that all I ever do is practice. Moves I may use to beat dragons that are of your size and bigger. [/color] She snorted, a trail of smoke coming from her nostrils. She turned around and stopped, so that they may face each other if Starlight wanted to. Caspia stared at Neph, he had moved over to her grabbing her hand in his own. She flashed him a weak smile of her own, squeezing his hand tightly. ”Thanks for, you know, being there. I really appreciate it” And he was there, sitting with her, not judging her from what had happened. She would never tell another soul, her trust in others was very limited. Nepherion was the only person she had ever told, she had meet many people in her life, but few had gained the trust that Neph had in her. In some ways he was the only true friend she had. She leans over and gives him a tender kiss on the cheek. She looks him right in the eye and smiling she tugs herself and him up and onto their feet. ”We better get back.” She said, she still held onto his hand tightly, not yet wanting to let it go. The creatures of that small woodland had begun to stir. The chirps of nocturnal birds begin to echo, and the bugs below made a melody of sounds. The rust colored sky soon turned dark and the sun had finally begun its descent. In the storm of the moment, Nepherion hadn't realized just how close he had gotten to Caspia - both physically and emotionally. He regained his thoughts and almost blushed at the intimacy of the situation. He smiled in return to Caspia's. " I would never allow you to go through something like this alone. " he said, subtly moving a finger against her hand.
He had expected the gentle affection that was being showed. But at that moment he could only think of how her fiery hair was a beautiful contrast to her sapphire eyes, how her pale elven skin was perfect in every way, and how her strong yet sensitive persona was the perfect balance of a woman that endured great pain . Just looking at her, It made him melt and wish that he could claim her as his.
When her lips touched his face, he froze, and it seemed like time was halted for him. He wondered if it could last forever, the feeling of her lush lips pressed against his cheek. He wanted it too, but like all things good, it came to an eventual end. She raised the two of them up and in the grasp of her hand, Nepherion smiled. " You're right. I'm sure Starlight and Amira are missing us. " He said, trying to release this flush from his cheeks by changing the subject.
Starlight raced down towards the oncoming Amira. A smile of sorts etched his draconian face. Amira was more foolish than he had thought, but he had to admit that she was tons of fun too. A roar escaped his maw as he swiped at her, trying grasp her lower throat... But he failed. At the last moment she twisted and spun, slamming her frame into his gut. A gasping breathe of flames spurted as he was forced towards the ground. Starlight crashed into the ground, causing the ground to depress and shoot countless pounds of smoke into the air.
He growled to himself as he slowly came to his feet and padded towards Amira. He looked up at her and flapped his wings once before bringing them to his hide. " Our Riders return quicker than expected. How about we finish this another time. " He said, breathing rather loudly. Even his giant frame became exhausted at some point, and flying with this aerodynamic beast was more taxing then he anticipated. He looked off towards the forest. " Shall we see who is fastest ? " he challenged. Spreading his wings and flapping them to lift him off the ground.

Nandon turned back to Feanaro and sighed he knew he was right and walked back along the path picking several berries as he went. As he returned to the campsite Nandon blinked noticing theyu where late “Well! Seems we are late to the party… Anyone have objections to eating salmon stew? Because that’s what’s for dinner…Nepherion… You know how good my stews are but I’m not so sure about this new elf…” Nandon spoke and then turned to caspia “I’m sorry but I don’t recall your name…” Nandon said then turned making his way to his pack as he pulled out several supplies and a large pot looking over to the fire he smiled and using magic filled the pot with water and set it to a steady boil. Looking around further in his pack he found the rabbit jerky “YES! I knew I had some left over! Smiling to himself slightly he placed the jerky into the fire along with several potatoes he had already cut into small chunks and some carrots… Then he poured half the bottle of wine into the stew then focusing on the salmon he gutted and stripped it so just the meat was there… Then he chucked it into the stew as well smiling at his handiwork as lovely smells drifted through the site then he turned and grabbed a mug from his pack and poured some of the wine into it then to a deep appreciative sip smiling lightly to himself “Ah king orrin… You do know good wine…” Nandon said quietly with a smirk he looked around and looked at the ground then seeing a small mushroom he filled it with magic so that it grew large enough to be sat on then froze it… making it into a nice little seat. There he sat next to the fire occasionally stiring the stew he then looked up “So… I figured at this point and while we eat we would all say a bit about ourselves… You know… Since we will all be coming together to make nepherion stronger… I think it important to know a bit about each other…I would rather like to go last… But I can go first if no one else wants to go…” Nandon spoke quietly as dark memories filled his head.

As the two elves made their way back towards camp feanaro helped pick some berries an other wild fruits that were on the way. As they arrived back at camp nepherion an cass had got there before him an nandon. Feanaro made his way to his pack witch held some of his iteams, "let's see here I have some sea salt, some pepper corns, basil leaves" he was saying to himself an about three or four other greens used for spice an flavor were also in the pack. "Hey nandon here are some of the spices an greens I told you I had. see if you like any to try in your stew."
After handing I've his spices feanaro also grabed a cup an filled it with some of the red wine nandon skates from king orrin. The the elf made him self a seat on the floor leaning up against a tree an took a drought from his cup, not having wine very often he enjoyed the sweet an yet tart taste of the wine thinking to him self he said "hmm not to bad orrin not bad at all "then fean just sat there enjoying his wine alongbwith the smell of nandons stew .
At nandons mention to talk anit about eachother past feanaro slightly tensed up. He was curious about the others since he knew next to nothing about them. But he was also unsure of how break the news about his true identity an deeds from his past so not wanting to go first feanaro just gazed around the fire at the other three

Caspia grips his hand tightly, unwilling to let him go as they slowly weave their way back along the path and back towards the others. She was still unsure of how she felt exactly about the others. She did not trust them. She trusted no one, apart from Nepherion and Starlight. A small frown creases her forehead, her eyes gleaming in the moonlight, taking in every inch of her surroundings, her body ready to react to nay slight change that should make her think differently. But amongst the alertness of her mind she found the feel of Nepherion’s hand beneath her own comforting. To her surprise his hand was soft and against her icy skin his was warm, and she felt the warmth race through her body.
She hadn’t realized just how much he affected her. She never took much notice at the way her heart often quicken, or the heat that rushed to her cheeks, giving them a spot of a rosy colour, adding that slight tinged that made her blue eyes stand out like ice in fire. The contrast between the two was amazing, her fiery hair, rosy cheeks and ice blue eyes. She loved the way a smile would grace her lips as she stared at him, her joy at seeing his face or hearing the beat of Starlight’s wings never seemed to make her sad.
She had missed him, she truly had. It had been too long since she had last hugged him and talked to him. She eyed him for the corner of her eye, watching the way his hair fell round his face, his blue eyes shining with more brilliance than the ocean and she wondered why it had taken her so long to realize how much she really liked him. She was so ignorant to her own feelings, or maybe it was the fact that she had not been ready. That no longer bothered her, with a gentle squeeze of her hand she tightened her grip around his, and she felt a small sense of sadness at the thought of letting go when they reached the others.
Amira roared a sense of triumph filling her, her eyes glistened with joy as she stared at Starlight. He flapped his wings challenging her to a race. With a powerful leap he was off. She roared in delight, her eyes flickering cheekily as she quickly followed pursuit. Did he not know that speed was her thing, she was the fastest dragon in Alagaësia and no one could beat her. With a roar of delight she sped through the air.

Nepherion's heart hastened. He wondered what she was thinking as they held hands. Was it bad that she was leading him through the path tenderly ? Was he less of man for not taking charge ? He had hoped not. Their wasn't much that he could do besides look off at the straggled trees around them. The leaf covered ground below them crunched with every step, it distracted him from actually doing something foolish in the midst of a perfect moment.
As they came to the opening of the woods, he halted, still in the shadows of trees. " Well I want you to know. Your secret is safe with me Caspia. I won't tell anyone. " he promised, while unfolding his hand from hers. The feeling was empty, he regretted it immediately afterwards, but he knew it was time to return to reality. The dream was over.. for now. In their intimacy he had forgotten that she had the strength of an elf, and that every squeeze had cause a bit more tension on his bones and muscles. He shook his hand of the pain and winced slightly before leading the way back to the others. " We wouldn't want to be late now would we. I think I can smell Nandon's stew. " he told her.
Starlight raced towards them, though by than the distance was rather short and his lead would ensure the victory. If not, then he would just have too use different methods. The two tore through the air like arrows, their was nothing to stop their free spirits as they approached their Riders. Starlight slowed at he approached Nepherion, coming to a gentle halt infront of him.
Nepherion smiled as Starlight greeted him with the tales of his flight with Amira. His wings folded against his hide, and Nepherion placed his hand onto his Starlight's forearm. Together the two of them walked back to the campsite and with relative silence looked towards the others for stories of their past.
