Vaentr flew toward the hills at a rapid pace while the red dragon Flare chased him. The giant blue creature roared as the other dragon closed in. This wasn't the plan so Vaentr was very frustrated. His tail thrashed as he allowed the captive that they were "searching for" to escape. This was the only time that he had ever helped an Empire captive get away, yet he was surprised that they weren't being stopped by their oaths to the tyrant King. Now he was really getting frustrated as the other dragon got closer. This was going to end. Vaentr shot up into the air and spun around. He then rocketed down toward his enemies, hoping to catch them off guard.
Brenton readied himself so that he could get at Uruale. This had to end or the other rider would just figure out Brenton's involvement in the captive escaping. Brenton slipped the straps down so that he could move without being restrained. The fact that he was one of the oldest riders of the new era meant that he could move and fight from anywhere on Vaentr. So Brenton stood up and drew Undbitr. With practiced movement, the halfling walked along the spine of his dragon and moved so that he was in his fighting stance.

Uruale looked into Murtagh's un-involved eyes and took his silence for either ignorance or deep thinking. He turned his slate-gray eyes back towards the darkened sky and with a blank expression, drew Reona from her scabbard and placed the gleaming helmet over his skull. " I guess I don't need permission from the likes of you. " he said indifferent. With a consensual agreement, Flare ducked afterward the two and Uruale made sure to prepare for battle. With the help of the Eldunari's he placed several more wards on him and Flare. And flew into battle prepared for most of everything.
" We end this now ! " he said, holding Reona over his head as the wind tore at his helm. Flare's dive was hard and harsh but it wasn't anything he wasn't use too. Seeing the massive blue dragon shoot up into the air caused a sense of awe to strike Uruale. He had never seen a dragon as large as him - besides Shurikan of course - Still though it did not deter his endeavors. He would prove that size didn't mean everything.
Uruale pulled on Flare's ivory spike and brought her to a halt. As the massive dragon came down on him, Uruale raised his right hand out towards him and spoke words of the ancient language. The power that was drained caused a bead of sweat to drip from his him. The spell was design to constrict and bind the wings of massive dragon. If the elven Prince felt comfortable enough to raise onto his dragon's spine, then he was sure that the constriction would through him off his balance. That and the fact that they would be hurtling towards the very stream they had flew from earlier. " Show me your skills you scum. "

((Alright this is a strange post so please understand that I'm unsure of the reply))
Brenton felt his legs buckle as the spell hit Vaentr. The cowardly rider that he was fighting was too scared to go toe to toe with him. Fine, the halfling rider was still stronger and faster, plus he had Saphira on his side. Alright now it was time to find out who was stronger, Brenton or Uruale. Brenton swept his arm over the air that was between him and Vaentr's wings. With a tiring feeling, the dragon's wings were released from their hold. Then the halfling pushed off with his legs and flipped over the great blue's head. His freefall was directed toward the red dragon. Brenton slammed down onto Flare with Undbitr already drawn and his shield guarding him. Now we will no who is the better rider. Brenton swung his gauntleted fist toward the arrogant rider who was still in the saddle. The fist then swung so that Undbitr's blade slashed the leather of the saddle. Brenton watched as the saddle started to fall apart.

Flare watched as the giant sapphire mass started to tumble to the ground. Then afterwards, with a bit of effort broke from the spell. She dared not keep her eyes off of the two for more then a second, they were strong foes and not to be played with. Still though she had expected such a spell to do considerably more damage then that. She shrugged the event form her mind and steeled herself for the next scenes of battle.
Uraule cut the flow of energy from the spell. It was to risky to continue trying to bind his wings. The beast was just to strong, maybe if he had started with the full might the eldunari's in the beginning. But their was no use now. As he thought of more ways to end this, Uruale glanced up at the prince falling from the sky. That had to be idiotic at the most. The battle had just begun, why risk such danger ? he thought.
He tightened his grip on the spike and held Reona at the ready. He may had forgotten his shield -which was a liability in a war style battle -. But without it he was capable of swinging quicker and delivering stronger blows then his opponent. With a tug of her spike, Uruale directed Flare to back up and prepared for the counter attack.Their was an additional advantage that Uruale had held and that was his wards.
As Brenton came down onto Flare, she begin to jerk and begun to dive towards the ground. Uruale staid in his position and as the " prince " swung towards him, he brought Reona up in defense. Her shimmering edge had been brought into the line of Brenton's swing, and as everyone know a dragon rider's blade could pierce through mostly anything.
It wasn't until Uruale felt himself sliding loose of Flare did he realize that Brenton's blade had cut through his saddle. A rush of adrenaline shot through his already energized body. He reached down quickly and unstrapped himself as Flare dove towards the ground at wind breaking speeds. The thought of self-preservation took control of his mind. Uruale unbuckled himself from the saddle and from the force of gravity felt his legs lift off into the air.
He maintained a grip on Flare's spike but felt it slipping and had to think quick. With a curse and bark of the ancient language he spoke that his body would stay on Flare's back. Almost as if a saddle was still there. Now though, the saddle was long gone into the depths of the lake below. The spell had took it's cost and was still slowly draining from the reserves used to supply it.

Brenton felt the blade of Reona hit his shield and immediately cut through the wards and metal of the shield. Unfortunately, the guarding shield was now useless so Brenton released the hold and allowed it to fall from his arm. Instead of staying on Flare, which was almost impossible anyway, Brenton allowed himself to raise into the air from the gravitational forces. Without thinking about how he would live through the fall, the halfling told his dragon to stay higher for the next attack from Uruale and Flare. The rider fell at a steady rate toward the lake as he prepared for the impact. Three hundred feet up would kill anyone who hit that surface at a normal speed. The wind whipped through Brenton's hair as he sheathed Undbitr on his back. Two hundred feet left and still no decrease in speed or gravitational pull. The lake was getting a lot closer than expected. One hundred feet and counting down, with a greater force that was beginning to sting at the halfling's face. Fifty feet above the shining screen of water and Brenton still hadn't prepared for the impact. Brenton took his flapping cloak and wrapped it around his shoulders. With a few simple phrases in the Ancient Language, Brenton strengthened his cloak's material and turned it into a sort of shield. Yet it also took another twenty five feet. Now Brenton was only a short distance above a bone crushing impact, not to mention the speed had increased to almost double what it had been. Alright, now is the time. Adurna! The simple word meant water but Brenton had been born and raised in the elven homeland, Du Weldenvarden. As Brenton was about to enter the lake, it suddenly changed so that it became a jelly-like liquid that softened the impact and made it easier for Brenton to avoid a certain death. Bones still broke, even with the modified cloak and lake. Brenton felt his left forearm crack and shatter along the radius. The ulna fractured and the humerus of the right arm busted in three pieces. Brenton was now almost completely useless in the battle. If he couldn't get the bones repaired in time, then the fight would end up destroying him without a hope. Are you still around, Nandon? If so, you need to get the hell out of here. Brenton grimaced while he spoke.

((This seems like an interesting fight, and Glaeran/Zander have nothing better to do. Also, Zander tried to save Rhaxta in the battle of Belatona))
Zander was still on his white stallion when he heard the roar of a dragon and the air moving at really strange motions and speeds. So there were other people in this world who liked to fight. Yet, that wasn't as important as finding that she-elf that had been taken captive. Zander felt as if he were too far above the other riders to stay and fight in the battle. As he neared the stream and lake that were in a jelly-like state, Zander noticed a great blue dragon and a red dragon that were fighting. Except the strange thing was that a saddle was in the stream and a rider was falling at an insanely quick pace. He obviously wasn't smart, because neither dragon was going after him to catch him. The red dragon was also plummeting, yet she seemed to be intentionally going at the earth. The rider was just above the water when he turned his cloak into a shield and used the water that was jellied as a softer impact. perhaps the rider wasn't a complete fool. For some reason, the moves of the rider seemed to remind Zander of Eragon. Yet that rider couldn't possibly be the leader of the Varden riders. Also the glimmering blue dragon looked a lot like a behemoth version of Saphira. Zander shot his mind out toward Glaeran. There's a fight between two riders. I think that a captive has escaped because there is a giant hole in the side of Helgrind. Stay close, in case I need a quick escape from here. I'm going to try and find the captive and help the rider who is defending him. Zander forced his stallion into a neck-breaking gallop to reach the lake before the red dragon arrived.
Zander neared the lake and then realized that if he showed himself to anyone who was an enemy, he would most certainly die a painful death. So he skidded to a stop and urged his stallion to hide in the trees. He would be back and have the captive or he would defend the captive. Zander jumped off of the horse and dove into the stream. Without much of a knowledge, or training in the Ancient Language, he knew very little about the natural plants and creatures being able to help him with their strength. Yet he would not give up. So the teenage rider dove down deeper and started forward. he had to gain air two times before he reached the lake. At the inlet, Zander dove down slid his hood up and used the magic to propel his body toward the two figures that were down there. By that point the lake had returned to the water and not gel. The young rider swam up to the figure that was just sitting there. Are you the captive that escaped? I will help in any way I can. But I have to aid the injured rider over there.
Zander turned and shot up to the surface for air. When he got there, he noticed that the dragons hadn't seen him. At least they weren't reacting to him, anyway. Zander dove back down and asked Glaeran to help. He arrived at the rider that had just fallen. Without a word, Zander started mending any bones that weren't really broken. He then pointed to the surface and showed him his Gedwey Ignasia. Zander moved so that he could get away from there without trouble from the two dragons above. By that time, he was extremely tired, so he gathered some energy from the surrounding fish. Without knowledge of what would happen, Zander took all of their energy which left them dead. The fish floated to the surface dead. Zander forced himself to get away from the main body of dead fish before going for air.
---------------------
Glaeran growled when his rider contacted him about the two dragons fighting. It was folly for him to join the fight and his rider was too rash to listen to reason. Don't join the fight. It isn't... Zander had disconnected from the conversation right when Glaeran was telling him not to endanger himself. So it wasn't of any option for the green dragon to raise into the air and go after his idiotic rider. Yet he had heard of Brom's words to Eragon. A rider was one part brave and two parts fool. That was definitely the description of his young rider. Zander was only fourteen years old and already trying to take on a great battle between two grown dragons. From the sounds of it, at least one of the dragons was considerably larger than Saphira.
Glaeran shot out of the trees and headed straight for the clouds in the sky. It was safest up there. The green dragon may have been large enough to ride but he wasn't that large. So Glaeran scouted around and saw Zander several times. He aided when needed yet he wasn't joining the feud.

Uruale's jet black hair fluttered back and forth as Flare circled the air. The darkened and gloomy wind seemed to passed through him with an almost angered touched. A tight grimaced was plastered on his face as he analyzed the surface of the water below. Brenton had certainly fell and he had not heard the ruckus that his dragon would had created. The water rippled outwards towards it's shore as he looked down over Flare's rose scaled neck. " Did he die ? " he asked aloud. " No, he wouldn't possible just accept death like that. I will have to ensure it ! " he growled. Uruale brought Reona over his head, the rose brightsteel shimmered violently before Flare dove towards the lake.
With the magic he used to hold himself onto Flare still taking it's toll, Uruale was hesitant to use any magic unless it was necessary. And not to mention he may need it for the dragon that had lost it's Rider, - Dragons tended to be destructively unpredictable when their Rider was in danger - But this was also when they were at their weakest. Uruale knew if he could obtain Brenton before his massive dragon could descend upon them, then the battle was over.
Flare rushed through the stinging air and the roar of the wind was all that Uruale could hear as they descended further down. As his grey-slate eyes struggled to pierce the darkness, Uruale could make out the silhouette of another in the water. He held no knowledge of who it was, only that it could be either Brenton or the escaped prisoner. Either way the result of his actions would be the same.
Flare crashed hard into the shore of the lake, shaking it violently before she trampled into the lake's waves. Her rampage came to a sudden halt as she reached the two in the water. Uruale brought Reona to the throat of the teenage rider. The steel glare of an experience Rider decorated his pale skin. " You will cease your ramblings youngling. Or face the scorn of Rider that's only second to Galbatorix himself. " Flare managed to allow a growl escape her throat as she looked behind for the glittering-mass-of-blue that could be Brenton's dragon.

nandon swam up to the surface following zander who he recognized from the varden "Yes im one of the prisoners..." he then looked at brenton and frowned reaching out with his mind he took energy from the wild life around him killing several things in the process causing him to wince... most elves would have puked but nandon ate meat so he was fine with the deaths..."Here... take this energy its the least i can do..." Nandon said reaching out with his mind he transfered the sizeable amount of energy to Brenton then turned to zander "Whats our Escape plan?"

Zander reached the surface with a lot of pain in his lungs. He had over estimated the time he could hold his breath and had taken to long. At least he was now up in the air. The captive arrived at the surface next to him and replied. It was great to know that he had been right. Except for the fact that he could see the red dragon close in. There is a white stallion in the trees over there. Take him and return to the Varden. If you can, have reinforcements sent to Helgind. As soon as Zander had the words out, the dragon crashed into the water and her rider put his blade against his neck. Now Zander was screwed. I fear death not, for it is nobler to have died protecting those in need and not fleeing in the face of danger. Zander dove under the water and drew New Leaf. He swam a ways over and called Glaeran with his mind. At the moment, Zander was screwed, and the captive was in danger. The teenage rider shot up out of the water and swung his own rider's blade at the enemy.

Brenton felt his bones slowly grow together and mend as the kid healed his right arm. Then the kid showed him his Gedwey Ignasia and pointed to the surface. Alright now this was strange. Brenton had never seen this rider before and he had just shown him the symbol of the riders. That meant that he was with the Varden and trying to help an Empire rider. It was strange but then he felt energy flow through him and he heard Nandon say that he was giving him the energy to heal himself. Brenton still had his left arm completely broken and he wasn't sure he could mend it quickly. Then he heard Flare land in the lake and growl. All of a sudden, Brenton saw the young rider dive and draw a green riders blade.
Brenton was positive that Uruale was now attacking the kid and trying to get to him and Nandon. At least Nandon was gone. Then Brenton saw Nandon on the surface with the teenage rider. Great, now he had two riders to protect as well as himself. Get down here Vaentr. They are attacking me and my friends. Need aid in this battle with them. Brenton didn't have time to mend his left arm so he made his cloak into a sling and then drew enough energy so that he was revitalized. Then the rider shot into the air with Undbitr in his hand and ready to kill the enemy rider. he was angered and the rider had been nothing but a pain to him. Uruale! Leave them alone and fight me. i am the one that you should be after.
Vaentr rocketed down toward the lake and caught Brenton as he flew into the air. He had seen a green dragon earlier but was unsure of who had called it. Now that there were other riders involved, Vaentr was sure that it was one of their's. At the moment, Vaentr hoped the youngling wouldn't join in the fight that was ensuing. This was a fight between two very large and powerful dragons and riders. It was not meant for younger riders or dragons.

Uruale looked on the face of his enemies. All of them were at his mercy. The moments ticked by slowly. His gray-slated eyes looked upon the faces of the young, the royal and the burned. They all held a certain.. desperate look in their eyes. Whether from the need to live or fight, it all came from the same place. Hopelessness.
Uruale grunted as Zander spoke brave words to him. But if he had thought he would allow the him to escape and run, he was wrong. As Zander dove towards the lake, Uruale had pulled back Reona and extended his scarred palm towards the rider. "Jierda thierra kalfis! " barked Uruale. The spell he used was aimed to break his calves and immobilize him through the pain alone.
Flare let loose a malevolent growl as the pressure and wind changed above her. She tensed her body towards the ground before leaping into the air and back down onto the shore behind those in the water. Uruale looked towards Brenton and smirked. He could think of no better way to get rid of his pest then all in one foul spell. He gave himself no more then a second to think of the words he would need. Then he shot his right hand into the air. " Rïsa" he said. Directing the spell at the escapee from earlier. The reason for the spell was to raise him out of the water for the next spell was meant to kill. Then with a more malevolent intent in his words he mumble a sentence of the ancient language.
Suddenly the water of the lake would begin to rock violently, and the waves within it would rise and upturn into one another. The individuals inside would find it hard to fight the harsh currents, even with the strength of an elf. It would be like going against the waves of a Typhoon - only that it's rage was contained in a much smaller body . The lake, by the will of the ancient language rose up into the air and slammed down against the rocky ground underneath it. The storming lake thrashed around in it's body until finally Uruale cut the spell. As the water came to a calm peace, the remnants of Uruale's saddle washed to the shore. It was torn and broken in many places, not even the tough leather had survived the lakes fury.
With deep and haggard breathes, Uruale found himself sweating from the use of magic. He even had to dip into the Eldunari's to sustain the spell after casting it. Uruale placed Reona into it's sheathe with a little effort from his tired muscles. He wished that his opponents had been wrenched apart and gutted like the fish they were. But he knew to not let his guard down. Brenton or..elves in general had an unusual way of getting out of sticky situations.

((Since I have done this with Murtagh himself, I think that it is only fair for Uruale to have the same done to him.))
Zander felt the magic go after him as New Leaf was drawn. Luckily the blade was a riders and could cut through any spells that it met. The attack was useless now that his calves weren't shattered. In his own defense, Zander had also been able to summon his dragon and now he needed to help the escaped rider, who he now knew to be Nandon. It was great that he could be here with an ally, except that Nandon was seriously disfigured. Zander took his time in finding a way to sever the spell that was inflicting his ally. It was time to deal with the enemy at that exact moment.
Glaeran roared and shot down through the clouds. His two months of growing from the time he was first able to be rode gave him the ability to breathe fire. Of course Zander didn't know that yet, since he had first found out when he roasted a deer. Now it was time to roast an enemy. Glaeran shot down toward the red beast that was attacking his rider. Apparently the great blue behemoth of a dragon was also at war with the she-dragon. So the fight should end with them winning. Glaeran shot three blasts of flame at the red dragon and her rider. It was just enough for Zander to escape the water.
Zander made it to the shore and raised New Leaf. The waters of the lake were rocking at a devastating pace. Zander swung New Leaf at Flare's hind leg on the right side, and since the blade was able to pierce anything, it was almost guaranteed that it would sever the leg.

nandon got out of the water right as he felt the current swarming and he turned back looking at the empire rider he growled looking over at him and he reached his mind out to His new friends speaking "Hold him off... I have a little suprise for him..." nandon said and withdrew his mind touching all the living plants in the area... he began drawing energy from them and pulling it into himself as he felt his energy reserves overflowing his eyes shot open he was wide awake and he continued drawing energy... the energy begining to be visible as it flowed across his skin lightly giving him a glowing quality "You wont get away with this you empire dog!"

Brenton used the Ancient Language to propel him high enough to where he was out of the way of the water when Vaentr caught him. Finally, he looked at the enemy rider. This was interesting. He heard Nandon tell him to hold Uruale restrained. So the halfling Prince took his own energy and started to gather energy as well. Several groups of trees died as he drew in the energy, yet his wasn't meant to be used like Nandon's. Brenton would destroy anything that he had to to get Uruale away from his friends and allies. Even if he was an Empire rider, he didn't believe that he was the same person he had been when the oaths were made. It struck him that the only way he could fight an Empire rider and save Varden riders would be to change his own true name.
Finally Brenton felt the energy begin to make him hover over the saddle on his dragon's back. The halfling felt his magic begin to glow an unnaturally blue hue while it made him look like a falling star. More energy wrapped around him and took its form as a greater outline of himself. Brenton took a deep concentration breath and cleared his head and then he rose up off of Vaentr and called out the enemy's name. He was tired of wasting energy just to have Uruale regain it. This attack was meant to destroy any eldunari that he had with him as well as immobilize him. The Prince gained more altitude and then muttered several phrases in the language of the elves. With the wind tearing at his helm and hair, Brenton shot toward his enemy and he gathered all of the energy toward his hands. When he got to the spot where Nandon was on the ground, Brenton froze and released all of the energy at Uruale hoping it would strike him.

Flare roared at the new dragon as he burst from the clouds. Uruale raised his hand up towards the fire, once again relying on the magic of the Eldunari. He uttered a spell from the ancient language and the fire balls veered harmlessly into the trees and lake around them. As he dealt with that, Flare was busy dealing with the bites of a flee. The boy had swung his blade towards her hind leg and opened a deep gash in it, causing her to growl viciously before swatting at the boy from his blind side with her forepaw.
Uruale begin to feel the pressure of going against many powerful foes at once. What to do ? What to do ? he thought. Flare soared into the sky, away from those on the ground and facing all of her enemies. Her right hindleg had glistened with her blood. A snarl came from her jowls and was directed towards the others. Uruale was finding it hard to combat them without the help of the Eldunari. " You fools. You have signed your own partings. Prepare for a hell worse then death. " he shouted. Just then a bright, blue hue begin to shine on him from above. It brought a sense of jubilee and joy to all illuminated in it. And yet for Uruale it felt more sinister than holy.
Uruale looked towards the two elves as they begin to gather energy. The eerie collage of colors had brightened the darken sky around him and Flare. It was unusual and ominous. Even if the light was such a heroic color the intentions behind it was undeniable. Uruale brought his Reona towards his side as if facing a giant enemy. He fought back the urge to retreat, to save himself from a sure death. His instincts screamed at him to sprint back to Helgrind, but his pride fought back viciously.
As he looked on, his darkened eyes trembled, and his mind raced for answers. The only good thing about this was that this was sure to result in two things; one that after such a feat they were sure to be exhausted; and two that the attack was aimed at his eldunari. The emerald and osidian gems screeched with terror, they must have sensed the evil malice towards them. They urged him to run with jumbled up images and scrabbled screams that did little then hindered Uruale's thoughts. Flare roared vehemently towards the glowing duo as her massive wing bashed the wind underneath her. Uruale. she started. Leave everything to me. I need that you only guide the wind in my steed. Uruale nodded as she flashed the thoughts and ended the link. A deep sigh came from his lips. This would leave him out of power, but it would be worth the escape.
His gray eyes flashed from the two as a look of steeled-courage came to his eyes. Uruale waited for Brenton to land and as he did that, Uruale quickly uttered words of the ancient language. These words were used to gather a mass of wind in a space thirty feet to the left of Flare. Then as the blast was released she tilted her wings and the wind was released towards her. The powerful gust spun her at a brick neck speed that hurtled the two uncontrollably to the right.
Uruale's sense of balance was twisted left and right, and he found himself healing the broken wing-bones that was caused from the harsh toss. The dark spell was a quick healing and her bone shot back into place before anyone had even noticed. Once Flare had recovered, Uruale found himself once again brandishing Reona. But he was so weak that his arm trembled and fell to his side. A deep breathe escaped his nostrils and an overwhelming sense of exhaustion came to him. The eldunari had been brought to their limits and he - to his. Uruale slumped over Flare and looked towards the three. A growl came from his clenched teeth. " You will all pay for this. I vow this. You will all perish in the flames that is Uruale !! " he shouted aggravated. Afterwards he shouted it in the ancient language to the top of his lungs. A declaration that was hard to deny.
Flare flapped her wings and rose into the air. Than Uruale rose his hand and with the little bit of strength he had left, uttered. " Bjart garjzla !!!" (Bright Light) his voice was strained and horsed as he yelled this. A bright, pure orb of light circled his palm, then quickly expanded. It encompassed him and Flare, then suddenly brightened to the point that nothing became recognizable within a 10 meter radius. One of their senses had been shocked and completely useless - temporarily that is, he hadn't the strength to make it permanent. Flare circled towards Helgrind. She and Uruale had lost this battle but it was under understandable circumstances. Circumstances, that Uraule could only understand as failure. Flare wished to comfort him, but now was the time for escape. She would have time for that later. She prepared to take off and hoped that the blinding light was enough to allow escape.

Brenton felt the energy rip through his very existance and leave him feeling oddly powerless. It was true that he still had half his strength but it was also the fact that all of that energy had made him feel weak. Yet the satisfaction of seeing the enemy fly away in defeat was completely worth it in the long run. It was a great fight to have won and now that it had happened, he released some energy to help the trees that were still weak. But as the halfling took that into thought, he wondered what would happen, for there was no doubt he had changed enough to alter his true name. So if that was the case, his oaths to the tyrant king were no longer in effect. Nor were the ones to the psychotic shade.
Brenton slowly adjusted his vision after the blinding light flashed in front of his eyes and waited to make sure that all was still good. He needed some food and rest, while also being away from the Empire. Immediately, Brenton remembered that the ring was still relaying his location. He took the ring and chucked it into the air. With Undbitr drawn, Brenton cut the ring in half and let it fall into the lake, where it would stay for many years to come. Now Brenton had a choice, allow the Varden riders to take him as a captive, or face the wrath of the Empire and half new oaths forced upon him.
The great prince of the elven nation was certain that he would never serve the Empire again. He was tire of them always trying to force him to do things that he did not wish to do, and he had changed enough for him to leave without being bound by oaths. Brenton decided and then looked at the others. With motions of defeat, he sheathed Undbitr and took all of his weapons off of his person. The halfling set them on the ground and spok to the Varden riders. I am no longer bound by the oaths that King Galbatorix forced upon me. Take me captive and return to the Varden. We should allow your leaders to decide my fate, and punish me as they see fit. Brenton called out to Vaentr and told him to land. I am also not the same as I was. I will go peacefully and accept any punishments that should be given to me.

Zander grimaced as he flew back from the red dragon. At least he had actually got a hit off on her leg and that was helpful in the battle. Then the blue light flashed up and Zander saw that Brenton was surrounded by a great aura of energy that was steadily increasing. Finally the elf sent a giant beam of energy at the enemy rider and landed on the ground with exhaustion clearly showing on his face. Yet it had seemed to be enough to scare off the rider because Uruale suddenly took off in the general direction of Helgrind. Now that he was gone the light that had been cast over them to let Uruale escape started to dim and then Brenton stepped out and surrendered as a captive of the Varden. That took him by surprise because the elf had just admitted that his oaths weren't binding him anymore. Yet Zander respected his wishes.
The young rider cast a spell that created manacles from the branches around them. Then he bound Brenton and lifted him up onto Vaentr with magic. Finally he took the rider's weapons and put them on Glaeran. Nandon, there is a horse over there. I can call him so that you can ride back to the Varden now that I have Glaeran to ride. Zander called out with a shrill wistle and watched as the stallion trotted out toward the three riders and two dragons. He was strangely calm for having two hunters of the sky near him. Yet it wasn't that bad. Zander jumped into Glaeran's saddle and then took off into the sky. I will go to the camp and let them know that there is a captive coming back with you and that we have the Empire alert to our presence. Glaeran roared in jubilation and then took off for the Varden camp.
((I will have a topic set up for the entrance of us three))

((Alright, wooden manacles could be busted easily. I guess it's good that Brenton is going willingly))
Brenton felt strange as he was slapped in cuffs and then lifted onto Vaentr's back. The teenage rider seemed to have taken control in the situation, even though he was the youngest rider in the group. Yet he was correct in the fact that they needed to be accompanied by someone and the camp needed to be alerted to his presence before hand. So Vaentr was willing and Brenton was able to go along with it for now. There was a problem with Brenton's weapons being taken and shoved in a bag but it was also cool. Now that he was involved with the Varden, he had a hope of seeing Arya and Eragon for the first time ever. Eragon was the brother that he had never seen and Arya had left a long time before Brenton was born. Brenton was worried that Nasuada would be like Galbatorix and have him executed because he was an enemy rider.

nandon crawled onto the horse and grabbed Brentons weapons. "When you get to the varden find astreae! She has my dragon! And Elf do not worry... I shall vouch for the honor of your deeds this day!" Nandon said and began riding off.
