Reshimee crept steadily closer to the gate. It was still in the hours of night where everything look like they were shadows, which was why Reshimee was moving at the moment. She had heard about a disturbance in the Empire and was willing to risk her life to kill whoever it was that had caused it. So Reshimee had taken the time to circle around and enter the city through the Northern entrance and now she was trying to sneak past the guards who, even though everyone else was asleep, were still wide awake. Reshimee heard a crack of a branch, which was strange since there were no trees, and she quickly drew one of her jagged edged daggers. Sh still had three others, but if she were caught then they would be taken. Suddenly a horseman galloped around the bend in the road and appeared right next to where Reshimee was. The horse stopped and the rider looked around, almost like he could sense the young woman in the shadows. By the color of the tunic, Reshimee could tell that it wasn't a soldier that belonged to the Empire. The man looked like he was from the Varden and had tried to change so that he looked like an Empire servant. Reshimee couldn't take the chance with her life, so she jumped toward the horseman and slashed her dagger across his throat. Then she swung her arm around and grabbed the horse. She would need a way to get away fast if things ended badly, so she tethered the horse several yards away in a gorge where the rocks would muffle the neighs and hide the horse.
