So Eragon comes out on DVD on March 20th. I'm debating with myself over buying it or not, since I was so appalled by how much the story and characters where changed for the movie. Before I make a decision, I want to ask who here is buying the DVD and why? And if you're not, then why not? I'm curious.

i have it and i watched 5 times to day cuz it is my favorite book and movie it is also so good in the aspect of what people look like.

Are you kidding me? Arya was a redhead in the movie, when clearly she's a black haired elf. She didn't even have pointed ears! >.>

I was completely horrified with Arya's appearance. I had planned to cosplay her, since my hair is almost exactly like hers in the book. ><;; The characters where extremely disappointing... except Murtagh. He was a bit too happy, but he was hot. Perhaps hot enough to spend $20.00 for the DVD.

Definately buying it, getting the speacial edition witht he delted scenes init. garret is so hot in it and ed ain't that bad lol

My brother hasn't read the book and he totally liked it so we got it. We got the spiecal edition too, I wish they had put the scenes with Katrina in it, but I guess they were kinda getting away from Roran's little plot. Also, they totally should have died her hair or something...and how come the elves didn't have pointy ears? Murtagh was hot! I agree, but I think that they chose good actors for the other characters as well, except maybe Galbatorix. I was so like 'No Way!' when Hugh Laurie was Brom, I <3 House MD LOL
