Empire Publication Date and Book Four Announced

SERIES WILL BE EXPANDED TO INCLUDE A FOURTH FULL-LENGTH NOVEL

A fourth Eragon novel? All I can say is... SWEET! But <i>Empire</i> won't be published till Sept. 23rd 2008? BOO. I've been aching for more, new Eragon lately, and finding that out just... just.. UGH. I'm impatient. ><;; At least there's a set date now. I'm marking my calendar. ;;

If they end the 3rd book to be a cliffhanger just to make room for the 4th, I'm not gonna be pleased.

well, i dont think CP is going to let his fans down and end the third one badly, though i think he, and his publisher, should concentrate more on getting the third book out. I hoped to have it for a birthday present, but my birthday just past.
O well. Cant expect him to be perfect. Just better than everyone else, lol

i wonder if he'll come here for another book signing...last time he was sick.....

Sorry Danny, but ending the third on a cliffhanger is EXACTLY what Paolini said he wants to do... AND kill a major character no less. ><;;

If it's Murtagh or Oromis I'm going to be so sad. I had to close the second book and walk away from it when Murtagh 'died'... And even though I know Oromis is going to die within the series, I'm just really not looking forward to it. T__T;;

Well, i dont look foreward to a cliffhanger...that would give me some sort of twitch, waiting for the fourth book. Im already close to having a twitch, lol.

I think it's 'Brisingr'? Hm...maybe the fourth book would be called 'Empire' instead
