[ that's alright. I understand. My muse left me too. ] Reukusu watched Kelocias with something of a regretful look. It wasn't because he had refused her offer but because of what she was forcing him to do. He would have to dip into the reservoir 's of his stored power if he were to survive this. And doing so meant he was risking his dragon.
He had no visible weapons on him. He made no move to flee and calmly waited until Kelocias' blades were inches from a killing blow. Without warning Reukusu vanished into nothing and Kelocias' blades passed through where the son of Galbatorix had been moments ago.
"You would attack me unarmed?" he said from behind and to the side of her. He had transported himself at the last minute to avoid the blades. "You should not have done that," he said. He now held out his hand parallel to the ground. A flash of lighting ruptured from his hand, as the light faded a beautiful silver rapier sword with a gold hilt appeared in his hand. The sword was unadorned and seemed very much like any other sword, but looks were deceiving.

Kelocias grinned as she heard him challenge her attack. It was rather amusing to hear someone challenge her, especially one related to the bane of her sire. "I dare attack any who deserve to die. Unfortunately, you fit the description. Farewell son of Galbatorix, it pleases me not to see a rider fall like this." As the last words were stated, Kelocias swung Sundavar to her right as she spun and ducked to avoid any attacks coming toward her. Unnatural speed did help during times like this. That was when she knew that she had an advantage on most others. Then she would always be one notch above the rest, one step ahead of all who attacked her. Islingr would always have light to bring, always have time to brighten the darkness.
Brenton saw the fight begin to erupt and he grinned. He was still in the shadows, but these were obviously children of old. Just from how they spoke, he could tell that they were from another era. Then he heard the words of the female rider as she told the male that he would die. Had she just called him the son of Galbatorix? If so, then she needed his aid. Brenton drew Undbitr and called out to his strength that fueled his magic. With the magic flowing through him, Brenton's vision blurred and he shot a blast of pure heat at the male, hoping to cause him to falter in his attack on the female rider. Yet when the attack was sent, Brenton immediately slipped back into the shadows before the heat could even make it to the male. After all, a son of Brom and Islanzadi would never be able to fall with such mistakes as that.
