Aysten looked around the clearing at his small home, he had recently cleaned it. He walked back inside, Sora had been asleep for most pf the morning and he was fine with that, they had been up talking late last night about what they should do and when she finally drifted off to Sleep Aysten was glad. He knew his friends would be expecting answers about Sora. But those where hard answers to give. Aysten sat down in his rolling chair and proceeded to roll it around the floor absentmindly when Sora woke up. “What is wrong youngling.” Sora asked searching aystens thoughts for his problem. “Nothing, I am just worried what my friends will think of you, And if they will be angry I kept something hidden for so long.” Aysten said getting out of his rolling chair and crossing the floor and walking down the steps, he sat on his bed which was directly across from sora. “They will be fine once you explain your reasons.” Sora said humming gently as she turned one large eye on Aysten. “I suppose you are right.” Aysten said shrugging his shoulders and standing up, he sensed sora’s Excitement at meeting her own kind once more and he smiled. “I know I am right Youngling.” Sora said pushing herself onto her paws and flying outside letting loose a Roar of happiness as she did. Aysten followed her outside smiling and stood in the small clearing outside his home. Sora landed next to him and he crawled up onto her back and waited for his friends to arrive.

Anira lounged at the base of the small stream that was about half a mile out from Aysten's home, quietly arraying a bunch of smooth ivory pebbles into a tiny tower for her own gentle amusement. The slight movement caused a sharp jolt of pain throughout her abused and bruised body from the torture she had received at Uru'Baen. It was quite amazing she had been able to escape, though the torturous activities such as the fiery stake that was rolled across her legs and arms still hung in her mind. A painful grin appeared on her face, her strong will to resist Galbatorix's urging to swear fealty her small victory against him and the ebony Rider. He couldn't get the best of her, though she might be powerless for now, it didn't mean they could keep her from getting stronger. Herion, meanwhile, was trailing high above the clouds, rolling through them in mock delight. The only way it could be better was if Anira was riding atop of him, but alas, he'd just refuse with the quality of the energy it took to rise. Orchid had to be used to give a meaningful amount of energy to Anira to keep her upright. In a few weeks she'd probably be as good as new, especially since she wouldn't be reminded of the torture with all the scars and wounds removed during the healing. He twisted around, floating along on his back before twisting downward. The ivory scales along his neck contrasted against his beautiful violet color, a mix between an elegant blue and a sharp purple. Herion let out a jet of violet fire which evened out to a bright orange and yellow at the tip, his newly acquired skills being practiced to perfection. He could now stream out a large amount for a decent period of time. Like Anira, he could only get better from there. Herion dove downwards, tucking his wings to his side while he nosedived to the ground in an exhilarating pace that drove the breath out of him. Right before he could hit the ground, he opened his wings and almost stalled to a sharp stop before setting gently upon the ground. He shook his body out, shivering with delight at the excitement of flight.

Aysten let sora fly into the air and guide him towards anira. When they landed aysten got off and walked over to her "how are you feeling anira?"

" Like I was thrown from the topmost part of Galbatorix's castle, though I do believe I'm feeling better."She responded solemnly, a hint of amusement bouncing in her speech. " Hello Sora." Anira greeted Aysten's new companion Sora equally, still quite amazed of him being able to hide his secret for quite some time. Sora was quite the beautiful dragon, aren't they all? Teal blue scales mixed between two colors, almost like that of Herion though he was violet with strange striped markings along his neck and through his wings. Who his parents are no one is sure of, maybe she'd ask if Eragon or Saphira knew of his origins if she ever had the honor to meet them someday. Anira was glad for Aysten, he deserved to have the close companion ship of a dragon, but Vlaer would have a lot on his hands if he took up Aysten as his apprentice as well. Someone to compete with once she get better suited her, maybe another sword to sword duel with his newly forming abilities. She was still going to be slightly stronger and quicker with her pure elven heritage, but they should be evenly matched with the Rider abilities. Herion pushed upward with his strong wings, gliding across the meadow and swerving between the loosely packed trees. He pushed off with his forefoot to remain in air, as he came to a halt beside Anira. He faced Aysten and Sora quietly, leaning downward to quietly rest the top of his head protectively over Anira for a moment before retreating back to lounge beside her. " Greetings Aysten and Sora Brightscales."

Aysten nodded in agreement as anira expressed how she felt "for all you know you where thrown from his castle."Aysten then watched heron land and greet them suprisingly Sora spoke first "greetings to you as well Heron brightscales" aysten smiled a bit to himself Heron being the first dragon sora had met had become a bit of a wonder to sora. "Greetings to you heron."Aysten he then looked at anira and sighed "I'm sorry i kept sora from you to for so long..."

" No apologizing is needed, your debt was already payed by caring enough to take on Uru'Baen for a mere friend. I owe you my thanks Aysten." Anira pulled herself up, cringing unsteadily as she leaned against Herion. Her abnormal locks shimmered a strange violet while the light reflected off his scales, she climbed into the saddle with some difficulty, gently pulling some energy from Orchid to sustain herself. Once she was seated firmly, and strapped into the saddle, she invited them with her calm, musical tone," Shall we fly?" Herion pushed back strange feelings tugging from within, a little abnormal lately. Maybe the close encounter to losing his Rider slightly giving him more wisdom and precision, or maybe the meeting of yet another one of his kind. He knew they'd probably become close friends, since their Riders were already commonly accustomed to each other. Herion himself also had a close bond with Herion, remembering his birthday where he awards him with a tree in memory of the moment he flew into one. Herion held back a hum of amusement, preparing himself as he glanced worriedly at Anira. Was she really ready for a fly? I'll just take it easy today. He spread his wings, casting the light through the translucent violet wings striped with the ivory markings as he gathered wing beneath his wings to propel himself upward. He let out a fierce roar, proud to have Anira once more in her proper place on his back. Anira grasped firmly to a bone-white spike along his neck, her palms turning white as she grasped on tightly when she started to sway. " Come, Aysten and Sora. Let us fly."

Aysten smiled and climbed onto sora's back then sora took off flying into. Sora then looked over at heron and a almost evil thought filled her and aysten caught onto it a moment before. "No sora... dont you DO IT!!!!!!"Aysten yelled as sora flipped over so aysten was upside down. Then she proceded to do a seris of loops that upset aystens stomach. Sora had her attention fixed soley on heron and aysten quickly became miffed.

Herion couldn't help but seem impressed, and yet amused at Aysten's expression during the multitude of loops. Anira would've been laughing in excitement and urge him on for more difficult and heart racing maneuvers. She was her own little type of daredevil at that, though he didn't dare do anything of the sorts though he longed to do the same. Anira's laugh broke the air, for she was also amused at his distorted expression. She spoke up, since the wind would surely try and block out her words in the thick air," Amazing isn't it, Aysten!" He charged forward, keeping a steady beat and letting out a gust of violet fire in a long rippling stream that stretched out over Sora. Herion dived down slightly, leveling himself as he swept forward in an extremely fast pace. Anira bounced slightly at the tiny dive, the jolt taking some of the breath of of her and making her sway once more. She cursed quietly, annoyed at her own limits at the time. She could feel Herion's longing at the same time, mixing hers with his though he cringed underneath her when her pain whipped in with his exhilerating ride. Anira felt him steady himself on his own accord, glad that he was thinking of her instead of his own urge to fly. Anira felt the pommel of Orchid, draining some of the energy into her, and explaining to Herion," One maneuver. Let's make it extraordinary for the both of us, okay?Herion responded with a deep, musical roar, diving downward into his practice nosedive until her remained vertical to the ground. he opened his wings in a funnel formation, twisting his right wing up slightly to make him jolt upward into upside down loops that brought him upward. He let out another gush of fire, feeling the burning sensation along his tongue and warming his fangs. All together, it looked like a giant vortex of violet shades, and up threw the middle arrived Herion before he steadied himself with a triumphant ear piercing roar. Anira grinned to herself, reaching down to give him a quiet pat at his performance. Well done.

Sora looked at heron and a competative edge came out in her "no no no no!!!"Sora aysten said as sora stapped doing the loops. Then began spinning through the air gaining momentum before stopping letting momentum drive her forward she flipped upward and dove towards the ground landing into the river and swiming under the surface, thouroughly soaking aysten before she pulled to the surface and leasiurely began swiming looking up to heron invitingly

Herion willingly slowed his decent at the invitation, spiraling downwards to keep Anira steady upon his back. He quietly flapped his wings, making the water swiftly gnaw upon the bank heavily before he splashed in to the discontent of the silver fish that fled into the safety of the crevices below. Anira felt the chill water soak into her velvet green cloak with annoyance, not willing to dismount into the deep water with the slight weight of Orchid and the two daggers hidden among among her garments. Anira had a smug expression on her face, comparing herself to Sora. If she was his dragon, she probably would have done the same exact thing. Herion, on the other hand, scooped up a decent amount of the dark water and splashed it onto the two with a mischievous gleam in his deep purple gaze. A laugh sprung from Anira, leaning off of Herion and quietly speaking in the Ancient Language. A square of water rose up out of the stream, quietly sifting over to float above Aysten for a few seconds until Anira let go out the stream of magic. The water dropped downward, soaking Aysten once more.

Aysten muttered a curse when he was soaked twice. Then aysten grinned and sora turned following his thoughts before slapping her tail on the water causing a large wave to fly at anira and heron.... then aysten began channeling the water into a funnel and shooting it at anira in a constant stream.

Though Herion used to be comparably smaller during his first meeting with Aysten, he was now nearly the size of a small house. His giant wings were twice the size, like that of all dragons, in order to sustain them in the air. He swept the water aside, bashing the water with his tail as well in a counterattack against the two. The funneling of water was brought to a halt once Anira murmured a phrase in the Ancient Language which cast an umbrella of pure air over her. The water merely tumbled down the sides and back into the darkened river that soaked up to her thigh. Anira's hair was soaked, letting it fall down to her chest along with her damp cloak which was now a deeper green. A humurous laugh rang in the air, combining forces with Herion as the two combined the strength to make large waves that fumbled over each other in an attempt to reach Sora and Aysten. "This is war!" She announced, followed by a sharp roar and a puff of violet and gray smoke sizzling after the flames billowing from Herion's nostrils. That's when an idea occurred between the two. Whirlpool! Anira quickly whispered the words in the Ancient Language with ease, since it was the language she grew up speaking. The water around Aysten and Sora quickly sped into a turbulent ripple before speeding into each other. It seemed like a giant drain was summoning the water downward as it swirled about quicker and quicker.

Aysten had seen his spell fail and climbed over sora's side placing a ghost in his place. And was already outside of the whirlpools range skimming across the water though to far under to be seen. Then still under the water he saw anira's foot and gave it a yank trying to pull her into the water, though ready to help her stay up so as not to drown

The silent tug pulled her downwards off the back of Herion, a gasp of air escaping her as she was pulled under. She would've fought to go upwards if it wasn't for the arms that steadied her from going any further into the depths. Anira tentatively opened one eye, the colorless gleam still shining even without the light bouncing off of the iris. For a moment, it felt like she was back at Uru'Baen, her blind eyes not attempting to see the odd shapes that swirled about. She opened both eyes then, letting her eyes adjust to realize it was Aysten. I should have seen that coming. Her abnormal hair floated around her in a mystical tangle, casting a magical gleam around everything. Anira couldn't quite see the bottom, though the nearby sway of water revealed Herion's bright scales nearby. She held her breath under the water, staring at Aysten questioningly for the time being. She quickly felt the worry flood over from Herion, answering his question as normal. Herion jerked to a halt, the absence of Anira on his back evident. What happened? He asked quickly between the connection, dipping his head into the water to try and locate his missing Rider. I'll be fine. The response came quickly, reassuring him as he noticed the absence of Aysten as well under the swell of water where Sora now stood. He bounded forward, the water around him getting pushed forward till another large wave bounced across Sora. A quiet hum arose, enjoying the feel of the water through his scales and the content moment.

Aysten saw a small island in the river and swam for it holding anira still, knowing she was weak. When he arrived at the island he pulled her ashore and then turned and watched the dragons slicing and diving through the water, now able to stay under longer due to the fact there riders didnt need air every few moments. Smiling he watched sora and regret filled him he had never seen his dragon this happy before "I shouldnt have kept her locked away for so long...."

"Nonsense, you did what you thought was best for her, and that's all that matters. If it comes from your heart, and you believed it was the right thing to do, then your intentions were in the right place." Anira commonly responded, laying back on the bank and crossing her arms under her head. She quietly watched Herion, him acknowledging the fact that she was on the safety of the bank. "To tell you the truth, I haven't seen Herion this happy in a while either. He's been having to chase after me the whole time, though I shouldn't say this, I feel as if I'm a nuisance to him at times."
"Keeping him hidden away along the Eldor shouldn't have been a solution. We didn't take it that seriously either, considering you and Vlaer happened upon us so easily." She muttered quietly, swiveling a weed around her finger as it grew into a tiny purple flower to her amusement.
Herion got swept in with the whirlpool by mistake, misjudging his landing with the heat of the moment and found himself sweeping along. He used his tail to anchor himself down, slowing the spinning slightly. I think we know who won here! He declared triumphantly, another bright stream of fire aimed at the sky in amusement. Herion awaited Sora's expression in response, a smug expression plastered upon his scaly muzzle.

Aysten nodded and watched the dragons then turned to Anira "everyone always feels like a nusance to those they love. But its those who love you back who are always the first to protect you when push comes to shove."Aysten shrugged as he said that then Sora spoke up "oh yes....you definitly won by using something i can not do which is breathing fire. And by getting swept into your own whirlpool. Yes oh yes congratulations."Aysten sora said turning tail before using said tail to splash a wave of water at heron
"If only the peace of today could last forever...."Aysten said laying down parallel to anira and watching the clouds float by.

"Agreed." She ended it there, watching the puffy white clouds float slowly across the vast sky. Anira thought of the words Aysten had mentioned, knowing the words are true, but that would mean that she did have a lot of people looking over her. In Vlaer's case, a little too closely sometimes. Herion would always be her closest connection, closer than she was to even her parents. The ones that died, though she hadn't known them very well at all in the first place.
Herion snapped at the stream of water that was brought up, grinning at Sora as he announced,"Ah, but this isn't my whirlpool, it's Aniras, and I can't help being older than you, eh?" He leaped out of the river, the drops of water casting a rainbow through the air before he clumsily splashed back into the water and out of the whirlpool. Anira quietly ended the magic that kept the water swirling, watching Herion and Sora with quiet amusement.
"They seem to be enjoying themselves, that's all that really matters to me at the moment. He needs some time to himself in the first place, and so do I."

Sora watched him and let out a dragonistic roar that filled smoke into the air. Then she leaped into the air and kept flying around, more like gliding really as she flew from one gust of air to the next.
"Indeed. Vlaer probably has kept a bit to close, though i supose i cant admit to any better...why dont you build yourself a house anira? You wander around so much. Why not have a place to come back to after each adventure" he said that then wondered if she wanted hin to leave as well "i can always leave you in peace here if you would like also" aysten said preparing himself to rise

"Haha, no. It's fine Aysten." She stated quietly, thinking over the idea of a home, and quickly marking it out with a hasty sigh. "Aysten, I can't, you can't. You're a Rider now, and the Empire will always be in need of new slaves. Could join the Varden, but I'm not sure of the work I'd be in need of doing there either."
Anira never really had a home, just a place to return to rest and regain energy. She had to leave that temporary place at Ellesmera upon Herion's back to fly to the Eldor in hiding. She hoped to return there someday, but she didn't wish to return quite so soon.
"If this ever ends, I don't know what Herion and I would do. It depends." She trailed off, wondering if the war could ever end. If Galbatorix wanted, he could ride upon Shruiken and take out all of the Varden in just a few hours. Simple, quick, and without much pain. Yet he continued to risk his own people, a sneer of disapproval rising from within her.
Herion rose up out of the water himself, trailing behind and curling through the air drifts like an ecstatic dove.
