The Eragon movie

This is what I think aobut the Movie.

As a Movie loving guy who likes action and effects, it was good. Not outstanding or poor but good. Loved the fight scenes, loved the special effects, loved the acting. Loved some of the characters, (DURZA ROCKS!).

As a Eragon trilogy fan, it sucked! They skipped all of saphira's growing up, they like made everything all wakc and crazy with hollywood production like stuff. Got rid of the Ra'zac as their own race and amde them spirits, made the leather flapper into a spirit aswell. Made the whole movie rushed, and didn't get into detail enough. I saw it with some friends and they had asked me all sorts of questions that they needed clarfied, cause I own 4 Eragon books of the same thing. (Christmass + Lack of Comunication x lover of books= Getting the same book from four relatives.)

Ooh! I wanna make our own Eragon movie! It may be cheaply done but at least we'll put the important crap in the freaking movie! But we need someone super hot to be arya.

yeah the movie was horrible. I really hope they do a better job with Eldest although it is unlikley

Ok, all in favor of our own movie, raise ur right hand. All not in favor, sit down and watch the horrid Hollywood movie. ^_^ (The alternative was shooting...but the move is more toture)

I haven't watched it, but from what I gathered here it isn't much of a loss. Dang. Guess I'll just watch Death Note instead . . .

You should still watch the movie. Its really good as far as a movie goes. Just relax and enjoy it for what it is.

i don't no if someone already said it but... WHAT IS UP WITH NOT SHOWING RORAN... OR KATRINA? they're a big part in book 2 and they completely left them out! i cant stand how messed up the movie is... Brom didn't die like that and he wasn't supposed to show eragon his rider's mark until he's like on his deathbed and they... yeah i wanted to see more fighting and Arya was supposed to be unconsious!!! insanely wrong and twisted... but they DID do an okay job picking out most of the actors. except Eragon... he was WAY to girly... he's supposed to be all toughened from work and have brown hair. brown eyes... and... NOT SO FREKIN GIRLY... (he's okay when he's fighting... he's got that... 'i'm gonna do this right.' look... *shakes fists at sky...* i'd fire the director! not jking here!
