Full Name: Lord Drakkaen Grahenned IV
Other name: Bane of Forsworn, King of Vroengard, Drakkaen
Race: Half-Elf Half-Grey Folk
Side: Varden
Birthplace: Vroengard
Age: 2, 700+
Gender: Male
Birthday: November 13
Eyes: Silver
Hair: Partial curly Red (Yes it is red, like the color that Durza had)
Weight: 198 pounds
Height: 6 feet and 6 inches
Magic User: Yes, He is old enough and adept enough that he can use magic from before the Ancient Language was truly necessary for control. He doesn't remember much from that era but he can still use magic without the bonds of the Ancient Language even though he chooses to use it most of the time.
Preferred Weapon(s): Drakkaen has a great sword similar to the Rider's blades but his isn't made from the star's metal. Instead his is made from a different metal that is a mixture of steel and silver. This metal combination makes it easy for him to cut through just about any material (other than other metals) and it is more balanced with his choice. The blade is as wide as two normal palms together and is as thich in the center as three thumbs together. His hilt is carved into the shape of an arm with the pommel being a hand that holds a diamond. He also carries a regular short sword that he inherited from the old king Palancar.
Appearance:
Personality: (Weak willed? Strong hearted? Charismatic? Loner? How do they react with others?) Drakkaen is a regal figure yet he feels as if he should act like his subjects and anyone else. It is not his beliefs that someone with that power should abuse it and try to control their subjects in any way that is not necessary. Drakkaen is a kind, caring, iron-willed person. If it comes to it, though, Drakkaen will punish anyone who challenges his authority and tries to destroy all that he feels he took the time to build up.
Likes: Riding through the grassy plains on the inhabitable areas of Vroengard. Fighting in an army with fellow soldiers, Riding across the seas, Free running, exercising, opposing the Empire
Dislikes: Empire warriors, thingyy people, weak people, cowardice, hatred
Strengths: Fighting, magic, talking to the masses
Weakness: Being in small rooms, using long range weapons, being cornered, very close quarters fighting, hand to hand fighting
Family: Unknown (He has very little memory of his family and anyone that knows them is dead.) Mother - Selene Grahenned: Father - Treshek Grahenned
History: (a couple of paragraphs at least - more for elves/dragon riders etc) Lord Drakkaen was born back before the riders were first formed. His family was first to inhabit the land that was home to the riders. When Drakkaen was born, in the first years of the Grey Folk beginning to die out, he was dubbed as a strange creature. He was in fact the only one who was half elf and half grey folk. If not for his father, the citizens of Vroengard, then called Wyrn ' threk 'denn, would have killed Drakkaen when he slept. Yet Drakkaen was raised from the little boy that he was and turned into a man who was very adept in life. He was first taught the basics in magic and the new language that the elves were beginning to create. He started to teach himself the way of swordsmanship. When Drakkaen was sent to the forest home of the elves, Du Weldenvarden, his father was slaughtered by a great warrior that demanded to be king. Yet the new king didn't learn of this then, for he was being paraded in front of many dragon eggs. The elves were hopeful that they could have the Grey Folk involved in the pact of the riders. They were dismayed when an egg was apparent to hatch for Drakkaen, and then went to another youth that had just passed its egg. For that reason, the royal family of that time decided that it was useless for them to have him parade about.
Before he left, the elves insisted upon making him a sword fit for a king. And the elves did that exact thing. It was three long months of the many blacksmiths in Du Weldenvarden passing their work onto another and then the sword was finished and presented to the king. On Drakkaen's way back to the city of Vroengard, the warrior who had killed his dad ambushed him. Fighting with his newest weapon, the king slaughtered his enemy and then took the knife that had been on the belt of the warrior. He later discovered that the knife had belonged to the former king, Palancar.
When Drakkaen returned to Vroengard, he discovered that the castle was abandoned and all of the royal guard were laying on the grounds with multiple fatal wounds. Drakkaen then took up the mantle of the royal ruler of the city and accepted the rider's request to use the city as their main base. He was a good king and befriended Vrael. When Vrael was killed by the tyrant rider Galbatorix, Drakkaen was devastated and he went into hiding. The king soon became frustrated and embarrassed about his cowardice. Drakkaen took up arms and joined the Varden after discussing it with Brom.
