Personality: (Weak willed? Strong hearted? Charismatic? Loner? How do they react with others?) Ertength is a very calm person except for when he is provoked. If someone angers him, Ertength is a very strong and volitile person. His mindset is that most people do not deserve to fight him, as he was long ago set apart from them. Ertength has a darker side to him that is seeded in his heart much like Galbatorix but he refuses to turn toward the anger and violence that Galbatorix has shown, unless he feels that he is in danger. When he is around another person and he feels like they are kind, then he will soften toward them and develop a need to make sure no harm befalls them.

History: (a couple of paragraphs at least - more for elves/dragon riders etc)
(Alright so this is the explanation for the strange parts above)
Ertength was born in the far Northern parts of the Crags of Tel'naeir when the riders had fallen. It was a cold winter morning when his first cries had been heard by the others in his home city. Yet he was also destined for much pain and agony. Ertength was three days old when his father fled to the war to try and save those that he had trained and was soon followed back to where Ertength and his mother were. In a bloody war, Ertength's mother was murdered in an attempt to get to Oromis. Yet when they were looking for Oromis, the Forsworn found no one. Ertength lay in his crib with little to do but sleep, until he was picked up by Oromis and then transported to the top of the Crags. In the air, Oromis spoke to Glaedr. It was finally decided that there was a need to keep his grandson safe. Oromis begged for his dragon to help him. As an agreement was reached, Oromis watched when they landed. Glaedr found his strength and breathed upon Ertength until the baby elf was glowing a golden color. That night, Ertength slept with the golden glow emanating from his skin. As the sun rose above the horizon, Oromis looked at his son and gasped. For his son was now wrapped in regular skin that covered his body, yet there was obviously a difference. Oromis took a small blade, and at Glaedr command, tried to cut his son's skin. The knife bounced back and skittered across the table. Then there was the strange fact that it looked like Ertength was wrapped in a cloak, but he soon revealed that he had something other than a cloak. Ertength stretched and a pair of wings rippled out and stretched as well. Oromis dropped to his knees at his now 2 year old son who was more than an elf but less than a dragon.
Ertength was the kid who grew to his adulthood with little to surprise others. Yet when he turned 39, Ertength revealed to a human that he was part dragon, or that is what others said. It was soon discovered that Ertength could not be injured by any normal blade. So the problem was that no one was sure how to injure the now 48 year old who had been training. Then when Ertength turned 80 years old, a rogue rider found him and was able to slash his skin with the rider's blade. Ertength opened his wings and flew for the first time. Since that day, Ertength started to train with his wings as well as his weapons. Ertength was angered that people started to treat him as an outcast, yet he was now 100 and could fly to heights no regular human or elf could ever get to. So Ertength soon joined the Varden to learn how they were treating others. Ertength was 133 when he decided he wanted to be a neutral party and learn from all of the different beings.
For one year, Ertength flew the entire length of Alagesia and learned the lay of the land. Ertength started to look for those who would need help. In his last few weeks before he turned 135, Ertength was ambushed by an urgal band and a shade to be killed. If Ertength hadn't been able to withstand all blades other than mystical ones, the elf would have died. He did end up having his wings cut several times by the normal blades, but the magic was with him and he was able to heal himself. Ertength fled the fight and waited the few weeks. When Ertength turned 135 years old, the elf draconian realized that he was an offspring of elves but that dragon magic had turned him into what he was at the moment. Ertength still decided to be neutral and he found several places that he used as homes.
Notes: Ertength is full elf but was changed like Eragon. His transformation is described. He doesn't have claws or teeth like dragons. He has no scales but his skin is as hard as scales. The wings are mostly decoration and are much too small for extended flight yet he is able to fly short distances
((I can edit this if there is any reason that you are all unsure of the possibility.))
