Aerthrovis sat silently near the edge of the stream. Feeling the life around him, relishing it in the depth of Du Weldenvarden. His hand reached down slowly, making contact with the running water. As his finger tip touched the stream, the water parted around it. After some time, he raised his hand.
"Adurna." As he said the word, the water under his hands contorted itself, making different patterns as it flowed by. He smiled slightly, I have been lucky, not everyone can feel the woods like I, it is a gift. But now i must return to Cithri so i may gather myself to fight Even as he thought of the upcoming battle, his smiled broadened. Now is the time, now all of the turmoil laid forth by Galbatorix shall be put to an end. Now the riders will be avenged, now his parents will be avenged. At the thought of his parents, a small tear slipped down his cheek. He quickly wiped the tear before it rolled down to his chin. He sat there for a while longer before he stood to go.
He gathered his sword and his bow and began to walk down the stream. Whistling as he went to the sounds of the birds. After some time he heard a sound coming from behind him, he stopped and with deadly accuracy plucked an arrow from his back and nocked it on his bow, while pulling the string back towards his cheek, ready to shoot at any danger that might befall him.

War. It was a funny thing. Liam had never seen the logic behind it. Gather all your people. Your power. Your empire. And smash it against an enemy, until one side dies or gives up. What did it gain, more than dead soldiers and more chance of a rebellion.
But apparently, this war was different. This was the one. The big kabaam. The war to rule all wars. After this, who knows what will happen. A kind of Armageddon, if the word had existed. Still, Liam hadn't been that interested in it. For sure, he wouldn't mind all this nonsense to stop, but what did it matter to him? He would rather live.
Thinking about all this, Liam had disconnected form the actual world. Snapping back form his day-dream, he found himself near a stream, where he could see a elf doing nothing. Just as the elf turned to leave, Liam stepped forwards, cracking a twig. Instantly the man reacted, knocking an arrow and aiming dangerously near Liams head. Liam wasn't worried, he could stop the arrow long before it came close to his head, but the mere fact that the man was that alert in such a tranquil place gave him a slgiht warning of the man's attitude.
"Greetings! Could I ask you to put down your bow? I'm not a big fan of arrows pointing at me..."
Somewhat a tease, Liam was being big-headed and he knew it. Still, what did he care if this fellow was angered. Bleh.

Aerthrovis turned his head to the side, not sensing any danger from the man, he replaced his bow to his back. He stood straight, looking the man up and down for awhile before he opened his mouth.
"What, might i ask, are you doing all the way out here?" He asked with a slightly cynical tone. Smiling he then added, "Sorry, What is your name? Mine is Aerthrovis." Aerthrovis stood in wait of the mans response. Wondering where he came from.

The man placidly returned his bow. Liam started towards him, failing to blink or act natural.
"Out here? I didn't realise we were allowed to stake claims on the land. I'm sure we're allowed to go anywhere we want. Or else I'd ask your reasons for being here. I'm Liam of the family Rhei. You might've heard of it. Can't say I've heard of Aertho.. Thoro... Rovis. Aerthorovis." Liam rolled it off his tongue, having difficulty sounding it out.
"I guess I do have a reason for being out here, now that you mention it. You might not have heard, but there's a big war going down. I just came out to clear my head. So now I've explained myself, care to explain yourself?"

Aerthrovis looked at the man. Was he being cynical? He must have been. For no one doesn't know that a war is underway. "I beg my pardon, I did not mean to offend you or stake claim on any land. This is no ones land, and i am know that anyone can travel the depths of Du Weldenvarden." His lips parted in a half grin carefully thinking about what was to be said next.
"I am also aware of the war, i too came out to clear my mind before i travel to the battle field. I did not expect anyone Else to come this far out. Where did you come from?" Aerthrovis asked respectfully for he truly did not recognize this man. He then proceeded to walk to-wards the other elf.
A spark flew inside Aerthrovis's head. "I am sorry for forgoing our greeting. Atra esterni ono thelduin."

{OoC: Sorry for the slow post, been distracted.}
Liam watched the elven greeting with distaste. He had never been one to uphold century-old traditions, which included a formal greeting. But, finding the manners somewhere deep inside himself, Liam returned the gesture.
"So, not much point standing around here all day... Walk?"
He didn't wait for an answer, but started on his way, forcing his new acquaintance to either follow or not move at all.
"I'm from Ellesmera, but I'm not going back soon. That life is behind me. It's a long story. So what about you? What's your story?"

Aerthrovis picked up pace to walk next to the man. "Ah i am from Ceris, and i too left that life. I cannot describe why but i have wanted to leave for some time, and now my chance to leave has come. The war is the perfect excus." He said non chalantly. He really wanted to fight, it was all that was in his mind. He could not wait for it.
"What is your story? I have answered some of yours now it is your turn."
He asked but was then distracted. Two life forms were up ahead. But like non he had ever felt before. "Do you feel that?" He asked Liam.
((Its ok, um im choosing white))

"My story is long and boring. There's some death here, a little sorrow there. Not much that I could sum up. Just the fact that I've left. And I don't plan on returning. Anyway..."
His speech was cut short, trailing off into mumbled silence. Obviously his new friend here had sensed the life-forms aswell, straight ahead of them, veering to the left of the path. They weren't strong, or protected, so that ruled out other elves. They weren't stupid or ignorant, so they couldn't be humans, but they were an odd touch. His mental powers relished being in their presence. Stumbling forwards, Liam grabbed a tree and stopped, a few metres from the alien presences location.
"What do you think we should do?"
He posed the question as if he needed advice, but he was just checking if his companion had the same thought as him. Adventure. Blinking towards Aeth, he waited for a reply.

"Theres only one thing we can do." Aerthrovis said as he walked towards the presence. He never thought the day would come where he would find dragon eggs. And as he neared them, his heart started to race.
When he reached the spot where they lay, it took him a minute to realize that they were inside a tree. Aerthrovis wispered some words in the Ancient language opening the tree. He was immediatly taken by two large dragon eggs. He could really only see one, it was shining bright white. Aerthrovis took it into his hands feeling the hard polished egg not even paying attention to where his companion stood or the other egg.

Taken by Aerthrovis' abrupt and un-explained movement, Liam reached a hand to hold him back. Brushed aside, his pal moved quickly towards the presences, obviously taken by curiosity. He Searched around for a little while, then turned to the tree. What? The tree has a mind? Then Liam realised that the tree was a gateway to the alien minds he was totally engulfed in.
Without thinking, he walked quickly to the tree. Aerthrovis muttered a few words, and the tree relinquished it's hold, revealing two large stones. Liam wondered for a second what they were, then gasped. Surely, these weren't... Dragon Eggs. They were so rare. So treasured. Why were two hidden in this tree? They couldn't have been here long. Others came here. That means either they were left here for them to find, or there was another explanation. Ignroing his friend, he rushed forward, grabbing blindly, his mind buzzing. He looked down at the egg in his hands. It was rather big, bigger than he had though, and it was a light shade of blue. He traced his fingers along thin veins of membrane, and smiled to himself.
"Erm, why do you think there were, um, here?"
Liam felt over-excited and a little dizzy. A dragon egg. Wow.

"I havent a clue why they are here." He couldnt take his eyes off of the egg, its color was so bright. Aerthrovis, after some time of just looking at his egg, turned to face Liam who was holding a blue egg. They both were so beautiful that he wasnt sure that they would ever not just stare at them.
"Theres really only one thing left to do, wait and see if they hatch. They must have been left for a reason. And if they hatch, then we can.... well we will be riders i guess." He stumbled with the last of his words, he never imagined before that he could actually be a dragon rider.
"We need to pack them, and start moving forward, Do you agree?"

"Well, yes, we can't stand here oogling all day, but isn't there someone we should tell? Authorities..."
The thought of handing over the egg to the other elves seemed repulsive to Liam. He had found the egg. Hopefully it would hatch for him. It just had to. Anyway, the elves would probably lose it to the empire, so he should keep it until after the war.
"On seconds thought, maybe this shouldn't be known through the whole world. Maybe this should be our little secret. Well, lets get going then. Where are we off to then?"

"Well we cant really go anywhere that will be noticable. So maybe we should just stick around here someone, it cant be known that we have these. It could end up being disasterous. People everywhere will want to have it. Its almost dark, lets just camp here." With those words he put down the egg, and started making camp. With any hope the eggs would hatch for them sometime in the night.
After everything was set up, Aerthrovis sat down by the fire with his egg in his lap, holding on to it as if it were to break at a moments notice. "Well what do you think? Do you think they will hatch for us? I feel as if my moves every second ready to break free of its bonds."
