Cirtolthiel turned around at the voice. She studied Mariya. Looks like a thief to me.
"Yes, actually I am," Cirtolthiel walked over towards her. "Are you Mariya?" Then she noticed the wolf and gave a start. Probably a friendly wolf if she's petting it, she thought. Her gaze then moved on to the elf with them. Well, he might as well come along too.

Cirtolthiel shrugged. "The Elders want you. I'm not sure for what; they just told me to look for you.. My guess is that they have an assignment. Follow me." She turned around and went back to the direction she came from.

Ax had watched as the two were talking. Shadow seemed he had been following them the whole time.
"The Elders want you. I'm not sure for what; they just told me to look for you.. My guess is that they have an assignment. Follow me."
Az followed also, he would wait untill the thief was done speaking to them. I mean its not like Im an elf who's traveled far or anything.

Cirtolthiel entered the building. She gave a quick bow to the Elders.
"You have been quick, Messenger Fleetfoot," said one of the men at the center of the table. Cirtolthiel ignored his compliment. I was only quick because I didn't feel like doing this, she thought, annoyed. She took a breath to calm herself down.
"Council, here is the thief Mariya. Also, another elf is here..." Cirtolthiel glanced behind her. She considered taking a seat, but decided against it. She moved off to the side and stood against the doorway.

"You wanted to see me?" Mariya asked as Shadow came in the room.
"Yes" One of the Elders said. "We have been informed that you have been stealing from bakers, and butchers."

Ignoring the comment that Mariya had said to them the council turned it attention to Az. " Elf, come closer." Az walked up to them, his nerves trying to get the best of him." We have heard of you deeds throughout the land. You have done us much help and we wish to besto on you this." The council member lifted up a large black stone and handed it to him. The egg shook in his hand a bit." Thank you. I couldn't asks for anything more in the world."

Cirtolthiel, still standing at the doorway, gasped when she saw the black object. An egg? Incredible! she thought, amazed. She looked at the elf and gave him a smile of congratulations. She felt Mariya brush past her to leave, but to her curiosity, the wolf stayed.
She waited patiently for her new orders. When the Council had finally finished with Az, they addressed her again.
"Fleetfoot, we have not forgotten you." That's a surprise, Cirtolthiel thought grimly.
"Are you needed by your Queen?" the elder interrogated.
"I do not believe so, madam," Cirtolthiel answered respectfully. "I am free to do any task as of the moment."
"Good. We may need you shortly. Please have a seat." Cirtolthiel took the invitation this time and sat in her former seat.

"Shadow!" Mariya's voice shouted from the hallway.
Shadow continued to sit there pawing at Az's leg.
Mariya came back in the room and tried dragging Shadow out. He wouldn't budge. "Come on boy...we have things to do."

Ic: After several minutes the egg started to crack. Helping out, Az tried to pull the piecesoff the had become loose." Hello there. You need a name....but I don't know what to name...."
Az lifted up the newborn dragon. Its black smooth scales were so tiny between his hands.When suddenly a jolt of energy shot through him. He clenched his teeth and his eyes to ease but it was gone as soon as it had come. Looking at his palm he was the silver orb on it.

The Council Elder tapped a finger to her chin, thinking. "Actually, Fleetfoot, we might not need you after all. Thank you for your time. You are dismissed. Please come back within a week." Cirtolthiel blinked in surprise. She had been almost certain she going to have to do some errand.
Well. Maybe she did get lucky sometimes.
"Thank you madam," she replied. She straightened up, bowed to the Council, and left the building. Free time.
