Vavrin stared at the man as she leaned over him. "So, are you ready to talk? Because if you're not, I have plenty more hooks with your name on them." Vavrin briefly looked over at Nihael, and waited for the man to start speaking.
The man's wound was seeping blood by the minute. He could lose conciousness at any time, and he was looking a little pale. She hoped he would spit it out before they were forced to revive him and begin again. Shifting her hips a bit, she sighed heavily as the man took his time speaking.

Nihael watched as the man sputtered at first, coughing up some blood before he started to speak coherently. Leaning in closer, he could just make out what the man was saying. It had something to do with some Varden members had hired them and several other bands of robbers, and had made ordered to pester the roadways to all the nearby Empire towns, especially the ones with large garrisons. He also mentioned something about small garrisons of Surdan or Varden troops, he did not know which, had come through the port at the city of Narda. "Is there anything you are leaving out?" the man gave a shaky no with his head. Straightening back up, a cold smile coming onto his face, "I think he has outlived his usefulness, don't you Vavrin? Beside he has heard too much for us to merely let him free. Do you think he has earned a quick death, or should we make him sufer for the inconvenience he has caused us?"

"Yes, I think it is time our little pal here died." Vavrin reached for her dagger again and leaned over the bandit, close to his head. "Thank you for providing us with quality entertainment. You are no longer needed, Im sure you understand." and with that, the Shade grabbed the man by the hair and slit his throat from ear to ear, a feral smile playing upon her face as she did so. The man's screams turned into gurglings as the blood bubbled out of his throat, vocal cords being severed.
Pleased with her handiwork, Vavrin got up off the man and looked at Nihael. "We got our information. Now we can leave this place." There was so much blood on Vavrin's hands, that they looked like red gloves. She stepped away from the body and smiled at Nihael. "Well. Did you enjoy that as much as I did?"

Yang slowed his sword play to a stop as he listened carefully. They are done, he said, relaxing and slowly standing up normally.
That they are, Yin said, still wading through the water. He dove his head underneath and stayed under for a bit.
Shall we go back? Yang asked, walking on the edge of the stream towards his brother.
No, Yin responded as he rose from the water. Let them clean up after their toys. Vavrin and possibly Nihael will come here to wash away the blood. And we want you to stay away from the smell.
Yes, I suppose that is wise. So we wait?
We wait. Yang sighed as he returned to his fighting stance, running his blade against the mud, deep lines cutting into the moist soil.
I'm tired of waiting...

"It is a good thing lugging that sack of meat wasn't a complete waste of time and effort. Galbatorix would be very interested to hear what we have learned. Not sure it will matter so much after we finish up Narda, but perhaps he can check the dock cities more closely after learning of this."-- Nihael looked at his bloodied hands --"Let's get rid of this body so that we can wash our hands of this filth. I would not be surprised if he soiled himself with fright. Filthy creatures..." Nihael removed his tunic, having removed his cloak earlier, "No sense in getting it more seeing as how I recently cleaned it.." and lifted the man by the crook of his arms, and began to drag him away fromt he cart, towards the trees and dumping him as soon as he was sure the body would not be visible from the road. Striding back, he picked up his shirt, and making sure to not smear any blood on it, he picked up his cloak. "I think I will head to the river to wash myself off, would you care to join me?"

"Sure, I'll join you. I'm begining to think it was a foolish idea to bathe before the interrogation. Luckily, the blood is only on my hands and not on my clothes." Vavrin began to walk a bit ahead of Nihael as she made her way to the river's edge. She held her hands carefully as to not get any blood on her leggings.
Vavrin grinned and said, "Imagine what a pleasant surprise that body will be to the next traveller." Crouching down, she dipped her hands in the chilly water and began washing them. Some blood had smeared on her leather bracers as well, and she was sure to wipe it away. She did so with an air of having done it many times before. Keeping her gaze lowered, she continued rinsing her hands.

"Sadly, handling that bloody corpse made me get blood all over myself, I am going to need to bathe again." Taking the opportunity of Vavrin having her back turned, Nihael quickly stripped down and waded out into the water, scrubbing his hands with some rough weeds he had plucked before entering the water. Satisfied that he had gotten off all the blood and grime, he ducked under the water, popping up as close as possible infront of Vavrin without showing anything *indecent* and called out to her, "Perhaps I am overstepping myself, but maybe you would care to join me in the water? It is quite refreshing and feels much better after having to deal with that filth."

Vavrin looked up from her hands at Nihael who was already in the water. She couldnt help but smile at his offer, even though she had already bathed not long ago. An interesting proposal. We still have a few hours time before we leave... It was very fortunate that the whole ordeal with the prisoner did not get her any more dirty than she already was. Her thoughts wandered to the twins, who had yet to return from thier trip to the river. Looking back at her hands as she dipped them in and out of the water, she considered it for a moment. "I'm sure if must feel refreshing after what we just dealt with, though are you certain thats the only reason you ask me to join?" Smirking to herself, she glanced back at the Rider as she withdrew her cold hands and knelt by the water's edge.

Nihael gave her a sly little smile, "It just seems like such a waste of time, sitting around on a fine day such as this, wasting a perfect opportunity for a refreshing swim." Am I insane? What am I doing! Well I have gotten myself into this mess I shall have to work my way through it. At the back of his mind, Nihael felt a slight sensation that meant Onyxia was trying to contact him. As he had not quite forgiven her for her previous actions, he chose to ignore her, and from the way she gave up, he was sure it wasn't anything important. Reverting his attention back to Vavrin, he gave her an encouraging smile, "Come on, what is life without a little fun?"

The Shade watched as Nihael smiled at her a certain way that she had not seen before. Something about it seemed different. She looked away momentarily as she began to grin. Looking back, she said cooly, "I could think of other things to do to pass the time." She didnt know what to make of his last remark, maybe thier ideas of fun differed from each other. She certainly had a great deal of fun slicing up the prisoner. Vavrin glanced at the position of the sun in the sky. "Either way... I'll join you."

Yang looked around as he heard splashing of water. Yin turned as well when he saw traces of red coming down stream. The water runs red with blood.
They are cleaning and then we'll depart, Yang said, walking upstream. Yin followed, wading upstream and avoiding the blood. It is a good thing the water kills the smell.
Yes... now I suppose we'll have to be Vavrin and Nihael's kill joy and ruin their fun. Yin said as he saw Nihael in the water, and Vavrin seemingly about to enter as well.
Were we not invited to the party? Yin asked Vavrin as they came closer. Yang soon caught up and stood beside Vavrin as Yin stood at a distance from Nihael.

Nihael glared at Yin and Yang, his eyes flickering dangerously, "Why is it that the two of you always seem so ready to plant yourselves underfoot? You either dissapear or pop up at the most undesirable of times. Never mind now, seeing as you have already interrupted, we might as well finish up and head on our way. Pulling a screen of water up around him as he strode over to his clothes, he quickly dressed inside a hollow pillar of shimmering, translucent water. Letting it drop after he was done, Nihael stepped towards the group, "Are we ready to leave now?" he spoke stiffly to the Twins, but softened slightly when he turned to Vavrin, "I don't suppose you would like to take me up on my offer at another time?"

Vavrin smiled as the twins approached. "Welcome back, you two." Standing at Yang's side, she saw how Nihael was glaring at both of them and was silent as he spoke. He seemed highly displeased at thier timing.
Vavrin tilted her head as she waited for Nihael to finish dressing. Glancing shiftily at the twins, she did not speak until the Rider adressed her, his seemingly harsh tone softening a bit. Looking him in the eye, she said, "We shall see." Holding his gaze for a few moments, she quickly averted her eyes and crossed her arms.

My my, brother, Yin spoke outloud, staring at Nihael. Yang dropped Yin's clothes and his towel by the edge of the stream. Seems we have hit quite a nerve.
Quite a soft spot. Yang replied, looking away from the others.
I wonder just what we were interrupting, brother.
Hm... what indeed.
My my, what would Nihael's dragon think of such... interractions.
Dragons do have quite the temper. Perhaps we just saved them.
Ah, but did we save Nihael from the dragon...
Or the Shade from Nihael? Yin let out a laugh, the first time he's laughed throughout the trip. Yang stood, still watching the sky, his face unchanged. He turned and looked at Vavrin. Come, let us take our leave.
Yang guided Vavrin, turning her around as Yin walked out of the stream and collected his clothes. We mustn't waste any more time then we already have.

Nihael jerked stiffly as he heard the Twins conversation, anger burning in his eyes and energy coalescing in his hands, ready to blast the Twins halfway across the river. With a conscious effort, he forced himself to marshal his anger and keep walking, ignoring the jibe. Reaching out with his mind, he located Onyxia.
I hope you are ready, we should be leaving soon.
I see you have ended your little tantrum. I am ready to leave as soon as you get here.
I should be there in a few moments.
Nihael picked up his pace, heading back towards the camp, thinking to himself, It seems everyone has a sharp wit and quick tongue today, they should be lucky if I do not chop it off if they do not quieten themselves. He busied himself with pleasant images of the Twin's tongues flopping around in the dirt as he methodically cut them to shreds with his dagger.

Vavrin allowed herself to be guided away by Yang, not looking back as they slowly made thier way to the wagon. She was glad to be getting ready to set out again, and looked forward to their next pit stop. Eventually reaching the wagon, she checked to make sure she had gathered all her things up, box of hooks included, and set them inside.
Making her way over to Indy, petting him as she brushed his mind. We are leaving now. She took the reins in her hand and led him over to the wagon and prepared him to pull the wagon with the other two horses.

Nihael quickly tossed his gear over Onyxia's back and tightened the saddlestraps. Leaping up onto her back, he gave one last glance over the camp, to make sure he hadn't left anything behind. "Remember to keep your minds partially open so I can communicate with you from above." he called out, before he lurched backwards in his saddle as Onyxia leapt off the ground, accelerating at an incredible pace. Surveying the lands around, he noticed nothing out of the ordinary. Everything seems to be clear. he projected down towards the others as he set off atop Onyxia, towards Therinsford.

Yin brought back the horses to the wagon, brushing off patches of mud on their hair. Yang prepared the wagon as Yin tied them to the wagon. When they were finished, Yin jumped into the driver seat, Yang sitting in the back with the map. Unraveling it, Yang began to check their routes. As soon as Nihael and Vavrin were ready, Yin took off. My eyes are not like my brothers, Vavrin, Yang spoke, not looking up from the map. He took out a piece of coal and began to draw a path. If you see any better routes then that I have laid out, please say so.
If I am not mistaken, this is the best route to take, Yang informed Nihael. He sent an image of the map to Nihael and Onyxia. There won't be any streams along the way, but we have enough waterskins to last a little while.

Climbing into the back of the wagon, Vavrin glanced down at the map that Yang had marked off. "Yes, this will be just fine." Situating herself better, she sat cross-legged and waited.
"I wonder if there will be anything interesting to do while we are in Therinsford." she mused. It seemed like the high she had from torturing and killing the bandit had rapidly worn off. She gazed at Yang briefly, then looked away as her thoughts took her elsewhere.

Good, Yang said, rolling the map up. He gave a yawn and leaned against the wall of the wagon.
Go to sleep, brother, Yin said, watching Nihael and Onyxia in the sky. You haven't slept in days.
The noise of the night keeps me up, Yang told Vavrin, answering the unasked question. But I am use to it... I do not need to rest.
You haven't slept once since the night with the bandits. You'll have to sleep sometime. Yin stared at the sky, waiting for his brother's responce and heard nothing. He turned and looked at him. Brother?
Yang fell asleep sitting up, his body falling slightly. Goodnight, brother, Yin said, laughing slightly. Make sure he doesn't roll out of the wagon, will you Vavrin?
