Preferred Weapon(s): Butterfly Swords with jewels in the bottom that can contain small amounts of magic. The combined magic is enough to heal a broken bone at most no more.
Personality: Kilnik is for a lack of a better word ruthless. He is almost constantly calm only ever losing his temper when one someone constantly pesters him about the same thing then he will either kill the person or tell them to leave, afterward he will work his anger out on something or someone. In short Kilnik is not bloodthirsty but he is easily willing to kill anybody who gets in his way.
Appearance: Kilnik is usually dressed in an rather plain looking long pants that are torn at the ankles from long years of travel. However his upper body clothing consists of scarlet colored tunic that reaches just beyond his hip but not his knee's.
KIlnik has various canine teeth that he makes his servants sharpen. His nails and are personally sharpened to a point. His eyes seem to gain a sparkle when he is in battle. As a Shade he is immensly strong physically but he is also very fit. HE has almost no fat on his body leaving
only muscle which gives him a thin look.

Strengths: Kilnik is a Master Sorceror and skilled combatant when it comes to both the Short Sword and the Butterfly Sword. He has rather advanced knowledge of the Ancient
Language.
Weakness: Dependence on Weapons. Unfortunately Kilnik is unskilled in hand to hand combat more or less all he has left is his strength and his magic.

Not-So-Brief History: Kirin was born in Eastcroft and spent most of his childhood in the small town. During his childhood he befriended the son of a Sorceror. When he met the child's father he asked them if they wanted to learn magic. Though the sorcerer thought this only as a joke. But soon he realized that Kirin actually had some skill in magic so he started to teach him more words until he pronounced him his apprentice. After two weeks his parents agreed to let Kirin live with his teacher. After a year his teacher started teaching him sorcery instead of just basic magic. Soon Kirin overlapped his teacher when it came to the basics and he challenged him for the rights of his teacher's private library as his teacher had been keeping it to himself in a desperate attempt to make himself feel superior to the much younger and skilled Sorceror. During the middle of the Duel Kirin's teacher grew frustrated and tried to summon a more powerful Spirit in attempt of surpassing and killing his student. While his Teacher was in the mid transformation Stupor Kirin killed him with a simple yet effective spell. Afterward he confronted his teacher's son asking him to travel with him so they could find their own path. After three years of traveling when Kirin was 16 and they were living in Teirm and Kirin had not spoken to his family. Kirin considered his teacher's son his adoptive brother.
While in Teirm through his Trade Business Kirin ran into another Sorceror who greatly surpassed his skill he spent the next 6 months learning, this master was much helpful. One day after his lessons Kirin returned home to realize that his"Brother" had disappeared. He asked his teacher and he explained that he could always scoured him in hope of finding out where he was only to see that he could scour him, in a fit of rage he unleashed magic damaging his master's home. His master a ruthless yet normally peaceful man told him to leave, Kirin still under the blinding effect of rage stromed out and started running towards the dessert in hope of running across his brother.
He did actually encounter his brother along the way and they began a quick battle his brother's traveling partner did not interfere per their firends wishes. during the fight Kirni's brother broke his blades leaving Kirin weaponless and without anything but magic. And so Kirin used it in attempt to kill his brother but in his exhaustion he overstepped his own boundaries and summoned a much too powerful spirit. As his brother watched on in horror Kirin writhed in both pain and unimaginable power. Once the Transformation was complete, Kilnik killed his ex-brothers traveling companions but left him alive. There is still a single sliver of Kirin in Kilnik though not enough to change his personality just enough to let his brother live that one time. Kilnik traveled until he encountered Urubaen and was hired by Galbatorix. He is more or less Durza's replacement.
Anything extra: I plan on using Kirin's brother as a second character. He got a new pair of Butterfly Swords shortly after he joined the Empire. Also I wasn't sure exactly what you meant by great Profile so I just tried to make it as descriptive as possible though I'm willing to change it at anytime.
