Reru watched once again realizing Aysten and his dragon conversing. He guessed Sora was not pleased with what Reru had just told Aysten to do. It seemed she was going to fight him as much as Kami fought Reru. As long as Aysten remained resolute it wasn't a problem as he knew desperation would push the man to do whatever it took.
The half-elf reached out with his mind and felt Aysten take their energy but not enough to kill them. Aysten was soft and weak, well perhaps once they got Alyssa's soul he would understand there was no room to be soft and weak. He accepted the energy Aysten gave him and poured it into the gem on his rider blade where Avendel's soul was bound. He smiled at Aysten. "Not bad but not good enough," he said extending a hand towards the building then took the remaining energy from those ill, killing them all. He needed every last bit of energy he could get.
In reply to his action Kami roared defiantly at him. "RERU!" she yelled at him. She knew she didn't need to say more they had conversation like Sora and Aysten all to many times. Reru waved her off. "Don't make me use it," he said to her as she was about to take off and leave him stranded. what he was referring to was her true name. It was why she wasn't able to flee him. The purple dragon glared at him as he climbed onto her back. "Stay close to me when we get to Uru'baen. I don't want my father's soldiers shooting at you," he said as Kami spread her wings and took off angling for Uru'baen.
