Can you explain why exactly we needed to come here again. A familiar voice sounded in Trelik's head as he walked through the dead town. The young thief stopped and looked up to the sky, seeing a figure flying above the clouds.
We need supplies, among other things. Just stay up there and keep an eye out, okay? With that, Trelik continued moving through the town, coming upon a random house and opening it's door.
You aren't honestly going to steal from the dead.
It's not stealing, it's just... taking possession. Trelik was now going through the houses cabinets.
Right? Just don't do anything that get yourself hurt. Neldral was obviously frustrated with Trelik right now, but the thief paid it little mind. Right now, he needed to focus on raiding this house for anything that could be useful or valuable enough to take along with him.

(Hope you dons mind if I hop in)
Ragdar walked through the small town. He had sensed two minds that were unique here so he had come in search of them. As he walked, Lenora was flying around the town. Being part of the Empire the town had agreed to accept Ragdar and Lenora. It also helped that Ragdar was the son of Galbatorix."See anything?" he asked Lenora, having to raise his voice to be heard over the beating of her wings. She replied with a negative and he sighed. That's when his elvish ears heard another pair of wings.
Finally! he thought. He rushed to Lenora who had also heard the wings. Then he heard a door shut behind him. Reflexes took over and he circled, Arucane out of it's sheath and in his hand. Then he saw the man. He did not seem to have been a Rider for long. He approached the man and asked casually,"Who are you? Why are you here?"

((I don't mind at all))
Trelik, be careful. I just saw a rider and a dragon enter the town. Trelik cursed as he received Neldral's warning.
Have they seen you yet?
I don't know.
Well try keep hidden if you can, and if not, try to get as far away from here as you can.
What about you?
Don't worry about me. I escaped from worse. We don't even know if this rider knows I'm here. With that thought, he heard the door open behind him. He silently cursed again as he swiftly turned around, keeping a hand near his sheathed weapon. The first thing he noticed was the man's drawn weapon, it looked completely different from any other sword he seen, and this was coming from a man who lived at a blacksmith his whole life.
[green=color]"The name's Belock and I came here looking for something an old friend had left me." He said as he continued to stare at the man's weapon, preparing himself to react at a moments notice. He didn't want to fight his way out from a place like this, but was prepared if he needed to, not having noticed his assailant was... not exactly human.

Ragdar nodded his head."And I'm Galbatorix. Pah! Do not test my patience. Lie to me one more dragon and no magic, human, Elf, or dragon will save you. This is a town under my authority and it is rude to take what is not yours. You pathetic thieves are all after the same thing. But perhaps my father could use you.. hmm. Yes. Now call your dragon. It would be nice to see it. And do not think of doing anything that you will regret or the last thing you will hear is the screaming cries of your dragon as it dies." he said, rather angry that the man had lied to him.
Ragdar walked out the small house, and within a second Lenora was at the door, watching. She observed the new man with curious eyes. The man seemed as still a young man. She guessed his age to be at 20 or so. She heard the frantoc beat of wings and entered Ragdar's mind to see another dragon circling above. Like a vulture ready to prance.

Trelik watched as the man left the house thinking on what he said. It seemed that this man knew about Neldral and wanted to use Trelik, both things that Trelik didn't like. The idea of trying to kill this man passed his mind, but was quickly dismissed. This man was seething in confidence and could more then likely defeat Trelik without breaking a sweat.
They know about you
What do you want me to do?
Go ahead and come on down.
Are you sure? Wouldn't that just make me an easier target for whatever they have planned?
Let's just play their game for now and see who they are.
I still don't like this.
Me neither.
A roar could be heard from the sky as Neldral began lowering his elevation. He looked cautiously at the dragon and man below as he slowly moved towards the ground.

Ragdar looked up at the dragon as it roared. He seemed annoyed that the dragon had roared. Having his body being enhanced to the level of a half-elf by his father Galbatoirx, Ragdar heard the roar too loud and he winced. He glared coldly at the Rider, his crimson eyes seething."Now.. I have a few choices to do with you two. Either I could have you executed. Or I could have you sent to jail. Or I could bring you to my father. Take your pick."
Lenora watched the other dragon with obvious interest. She had never seen any other male dragon. It was a rumor that male dragons grew faster than female, and this was a good example. Lenora was enlarged with magic yet she still was only a little larger than Neldral. She openly studied him and roared at him a challenge just to see his reaction. Though she tensed herself, ready for an aggressive reaction and told Ragdar not to interfere.

((Just letting you know that although I haven't really stated it, Neldral is just large enough to be rode on properly.))
Trelik watched as Radgar winced when he heard Neldral roar, intrigued. The man's hearing seemed to be more sensitive then a normal human's. Maybe it could be something that he could abuse to get out of this situation.
Now that he looked at the man more closely though, he didn't seem very... human. His features were fair and his ears had a sharpness to them. Things that reminded him the description of elves that the stories. Yet, could this man really be an elf?
"Who exactly is your father?" He asked the rider as he slowly left the building.
As Neldral slowly made his decent towards the ground, he stopped when he heard the other dragon. Keeping himself afloat by flapping his wings at a constant rhythm, he looked and examined the other dragon carefully. She was much bigger then him, and most likely much stronger too. In a straight up fight of brawn, he wouldn't stand a chance. However, how fast and agile she was was hard for him to tell, and that may be his ticket to victory if he ever did fight her.
For now though, he stayed in the air to see what she would do next. While he was not actively accepting her challenge, he wasn't exactly backing off either. He didn't want to start a fight if he didn't need to, especially one he knew he had very little chance of winning.

Ragdar shook his head at Trelik."My father is Galbatorix. Do not mistake me for an Elf. I am a human but my father's magic gives me the abilities of a half-elf. Now come with us peacefully. I do not have any desire to take you by force. I have something important to do so shall we get going? he informed Trelik. At finishing his statement Ragdar sheathed Arucane and began saddling Lenora. He tried reaching her mind but all her thoughts were of excitement.
Lenora continued watching the other dragon, roaring again though in a lower voice as if giving Neldral permission to land. She knew she would probably be stronger than him, but was not so sure of speed. She doubted she could catch him if he decided to run for it with his Rider though she knew that Ragdar would constrict them with magic if need be. She growled in annoyance as Ragdar saddled her. It was heavy and annoying. She looked at Trelik with sparkling red eyes.

Please tell me you have a plan.
I do, but I don't think your going to like it. Trelik then mentally explained his plan to Neldral, whom, as expected, didn't seemed please with the plan.
This is probably your most insane plan yet. Do you know how many ways this could go wrong?
Yes, I know, but it is either this, death, or enslavement.
Trelik watched carefully as the man who claimed to be Galbatorix's son began to get on the saddle of his dragon. With the man not facing him, Trelik carefully crouched down and, without making any sudden movements or noise, picked up a rock from the ground. Trelik then stood up, being careful to keep the rock as hidden from Lenora and Ragdar as possible, before moving so that him and Neldral would be parallel with the building that Trelik was just in. They had one chance at this and he needed to make sure there was no room for error.
"Well, when you put it that way, then I guess we shall get going." Once Trelik said that, Neldral roared as loud as he could (in hopes to stun the man) as he dive-bombed towards Trelik. Trelik then followed this up by swiftly throwing the stone towards the rider, not expecting to hit him, but hoping to just distract him for that extra second longer. Once that step was done, Neldral was only about six or seven feet from the ground, so he quickly readjusted himself so that he was parallel with the ground. Neldral then flew passed Trelik, flipping his tail down towards his rider, whom grapped onto the tail (to much of Neldral's annoyance).
Considering that that part of the plan had worked successfully, Neldral would then take a swift turn around one of the larger buildings to break line of sight as his rider slowly tried his best to get from Neldral's tail to his back (a task that wasn't exactly easy, especially when Neldral was moving erratically at high speeds.)

Ragdar hated his ears. The moment Neldral roared, he had fell to the ground clutching his ears. He was glad he fell as he barely saw the rock Trelik had thrown zip past the place where Ragdar's head was a few seconds ago. He began chanting to heal his popped ears then quickly got up. He looked around and immediately spotted the Rider and dragon, his eagle-like eyes narrowed and he quckly rode Lenora.
"And so the hunt begins. Shall we? he asked Lenora who roared in the positive. He covered his ears again, in time."The next dragon to roar, I am going to have to strip them of their scales.." he muttered in annoyance. Removing a scale from a dragon was something that no dragons would accept.
Lenora flew after Neldral, large wings beating heavily. She had to at least get in range for Ragdar to be able to use his magic. Both she and him did not want to face his father empty handed. As she flew, she felt Ragdar seeping energy into her from their Eldunari to speed their flight.
She was, naturally, the first to spot them due to her eyes being much more sharper than any Elf. She just began realizing in how much of a bad position Trelik and Neldral were in. Trelik was attempting to get from the tail to back -not an easy task- as they continued to attempt to run. As Ragdar got in decent range, he didn't know that they were going to turn around that large building near them and so shot a fire ball at them.

The fireball just barely missed as the Neldral took the swift turn around the building. The dragon moved as fast as it could to get away from his pursuer, weaving around the buildings of the town to help build distance between him and the other dragon.
Meanwhile, Trelik held on for his dear life as Neldral flew through the town. Every move towards Neldral's back felt harder then the last as he felt the strain that all of this was producing onto his limbs. If not for the adrenaline rushing through his body, he would have swore he would have fallen of the dragon then. After what felt like an eternity though (which really was just a few seconds), Trelik made it off the tail and on Neldral's back over where his hind legs is at. At this point, Trelik was thankful for the fact that Neldral was not as large as the dragon who was following them. He still was not at his destination though and he kept on climbing (crawling?) up Neldral's back, sparing aa glance behind him now and then to see how their pursuers were doing.

Ragdar glared at the other Rider. He refused to allow the young man to escape him or else his father would be very furious. He urged on Lenora but then suddenly looked around, unable to find the other small dragon. He cast a tracking spell and quickly went back on the right track-- though not in time enough to make up for the distance they had lost.
Lenora roared angrily. She had wanted to play and now instead Galbatorix will punish them. She beat her large wings as hard as she could and began gaining some distance though the damage was done. She began losing the other pair and she growled in annoyance. She roared and sent flames everywhere then flew all the way up and spotted the pair. She dived down, going super fast and Ragdar threw more fireballs at them.

((Don't worry about it, just try to get some sleep once you can))
Trelik gave a small sigh of relief as he looked behind him and saw no one. He thought that him and Neldral managed to have lost their pursuers and that they were home free. Unfortunately for them, they were soon proven wrong.
The first thing he heard was the other dragon's roar. He looked around, catching glimpses here and there of the other dragon as she tried to catch up with them. He heard the dragon roar again, this time breathing fire everywhere she could. With several buildings set ablaze, he watched as the dragon flew up in the sky before divebombing towards Neldral. Oh... and the rider was throwing fireballs to boot.
What is it with these guys and fire? Trelik thought as he got as low as he could.
I don't know, though it gives me the impression that they don't us much. Neldral responded as he took evasive action to try to avoid the flaming projectiles.
Hmm... I wonder why?
Well you have to admit, you sure do have a way with... Neldral roared then roared in pain as one of the fireballs managed to hit one of the legs.
Are you okay? Trelik thought, honestly concerned.
Yeah, I'm fine. It's just a flesh wound. But I don't think I can take much more of this.
We need to get out of here quickly.
Yeah, but if we leave, what's to stop the fire party from following us?
I know, I know. We need to find a way to disable of them or lose them for good.
What do you supposed we do?
I don't know. Just get out this town and maybe I will be able to find something to help us.
Okay, but I don't know if I'll be able to stay ahead of them much longer.
I understand. Just do what you can.
Neldral complied as he began heading towards the edge of town, doing whatever he can to stay ahead of Lenora.

(I hope this still is open)
Kelocias had heard tale of a thieving rider so she had set off from her outpost in the Hadarac to investigate. "Do you see anything Istven?" The massive white dragon had much better sight so the daughter of Crawl was thankful when she saw two dragons. Unfortunately one of the riders was Radgar who was born of the tyrant Galbatorix. With a mighty roar that could shake mountains Istven flew at the Empire rider.

(Yeaaaaaaaaaaah.... late reply but here we go!)
Ragdar grinned wickedly at the sight of his volley hitting the other dragon. He then heard the roar of a dragon.. a roar that would put any other dragon's roar he had seen to shame. He stopped his pursuit, sending a volley of flaming bolts at Neldral and turned to face the other dragon. Ah... if he could subdue them with the help of his Eldunari and Lenora and bring them back to his father... just the thought of it made him cackle with delight. Then he realized something... as long as he had Neldral, this dragon would follow. So, say, for instance, they scared Neldral all the way to Uru'Baen.. then he would receive twice the reward. He chuckled manically loud and crystal clear then poured the energy into Lenora who sped back on-course.
She came at Neldral from the side, biting at him so that he would change course onto a course for Uru'Baen. She bit at his side and bathed the pair in fire. Ragdar himself was busy as well. He turned around and continuously sent bolts of fire at the much larger dragon. Lenora was catching speed.. they needed Neldral to catch speed as well. Ragdar turned and began harassing Neldral, swiping away with Arucane, the crimson blade continued to glimmer with every swipe. Then to give Neldral even more encouragement, he sent a volley of bolts at Trelik. After all this, he stopped harassing them and took some energy from the Eldunari and Lenora.
Sitting there, he felt useless, yet he knew that once they returned to Uru'Baen.. the rewards would be huge. Last time, he, his half-brother Reru, and another Empire Rider had an unpleasant meeting in the halls leading to his father's chamber. That had ended up with all three of them being sent to a gladiator's arena to fight a Fanghur without their weapons, and no magic. He was surprised they came out alive .. or out at all. That brutal punishment had ensured him he would never again let that kind of punishment befall himself and Lenora.

((Just warning you now, I believe Flame had retired the character he was using for this thread))
Just what we need. Another dragon and rider. Trelik thought as he heard the third dragon's roar. To make matters even worse is the fact that Lenora had managed to catch up to them alot quicker then either Trelik and Neldral thought. Trelik could only guess that some type of magic was involved.
You know, sometimes I HATE magic. Trelik informed Neldral as he clung onto the dragon the best he could.
Trelik looked to his side, seeing Lenora bite at Neldral. Neldral growled as he felt the bite. It was painful, but could have been alot worse. Unwilling to take anymore punishment from the bigger dragon, he quickly flew over her spinning. This caused him to avoid Lanora's attack, bathing the sky in flame, and stubbornly keeping to his original route.
As Neldral did this, Trelik took notice of the fact that Ragdar sent a volley of bolts towards the other dragon. Did that mean that the other dragon and rider was not apart of the empire? If so, then this could mean that their luck has finally changed and they had an ally to help them in this fight against the king's minion, if only temporary.
An idea then occured to Trelik. They just needed to reach an area that the Empire's rider would not dare tread. If they could reach Du Wardenvarden, if only for a little while, then they would be safe.
We need to head to the forest to the northeast quickly. Trelik quickly relayed to his dragon.
While Neldral didn't knew what his rider had planned, he trusted Trelik. Sure, the thief's plan hasn't been going their way as they hoped it would, but it was better then heading nowhere in particular. That, and Neldral was getting a sneaking suspicion that Lenora was trying to lead them somewhere from how she attacked him.
Much to Trelik displeasure, Neldral suddenly dropped from the air into a dive, completely unaware to the fact that he had narrowly avoided Radgar's sword. As Neldral quickly approached the ground, he showed his prowess with flight as he spun around and quickly adjusted himself to so that he was now heading towards his new destination. Trelik felt pretty sick to his stomach after all that. After all this is done, he is gonna make a specific note to never do any of this again. Yet does this mean that they are in the clear.
He soon got his answer as he saw bolts of fire fly past them before one managed to hit his left shoulder, cursing as he felt pain coursing through it. By instinct, he threw his other hand over his shoulder to cover the wound in an attempt to protect it from further damage. While he would like to say that he had felt worse, there wasn't much that he could think of at the moment that would beat the pain he felt now. Neldral, fearing for his rider's life, forced himself to move faster and try whatever he could to stay out of range of the Empire Dragon and Rider.

Oh well.. meh.... guess I'll pick up from here. It seems to me this thread is close to ending, if you want Timmir, we can have it with Trelik and Neldral in Ellesmera meeting Moratensis who's already there trying to murder some Elves - for some personal reasons -
Ragdar ordered Lenora to continue pursuing and slumped, his face pale. He had spent a lot of energy with those volleys. He saw the other dragon change direction and cursed. They must have realized where they were leading them. Then with terror he realized where they were being led.. to Ellesmera, the forest of the Elves. He could take around 5 Elves before knowing he would die. Lenora beat her wings frantically. They had to reach Neldral before they escape. Ragdar considered using magic to bind the dragon.. but from this far that would be suicide. All he could do was sit there and wish for the best.
Lenora roared in anger and continued in pursuit. She knew it was hopeless but she had to try. The more she beat her wings the farther they seemed to go... it was hopeless. They would return to Uru'Baen empty-handed. If at all. She stopped and gave up, roaring in agony. They had just entered the borders of Ellesmera and she dared not enter. Ragdar cursed and looked her in the eye. They had failed. Now was the time for punishment.
-Eh, nothing really to post now. We could start another thread if you'd like ^_^-
