Full Name: Tiir Rumibul
Other name: Īno Dwō
Race: Human
Side: Empire
Birthplace: Marna
Age: 18
Gender: male
Birthday: May 4
Eyes: black
Hair: black
Weight: 140
Height: 5' 9'
Magic User: Sort of.
Preferred Weapon(s): Sword
Appearance: (What does he/she look like? What kind of clothing does he/she wear? Scars?)
Tiir always wears darker colored clothing, usually black. His hair and eyes are both black giving him a rather grim appearance that seems to be intentional. He is rather slim but athletic. He is very confident of himself and doesn't hesitate. He is surprisingly strong and fast, almost as fast as any elf contrary to his appearance.
Personality: (Weak willed? Strong hearted? Charismatic? Loner? How does he/she react with others?)
He is very determined but keeps to himself. He feels he is superior to most everyone else and acts like it. While he is part of the empire he seems to only relish the opportunity to fight not the cause. He is pretty calm most of the time and can be a bit cruel to those he finds less superior than himself. He doesn't like taking orders except from a select few and has caused the empire grief for disobedience. As a result of punishment for disobedience he listens more often than not to order but resentfully so.
--->Likes: himself, rain, spring
--->Dislikes: anyone less superior, snow, crowded places
--->Strengths: strength, speed, wit
--->Weakness: unable to cast spells at will.
Family:
Sui Rumibul (father)
Aura Orla Rumibul (mother, deceased)
History: (a couple of paragraphs minimum - more for elves/dragon riders etc)
Tiir was born and raised in Marna. His mother died giving birth to him, the physicians in the town thought it was a rather strange case as nothing had seemed to be wrong. He was raised by his father Sui until he was 15 years old. During those years not much of note happened, he took a job in town to help earn some money but kept to himself resulting in a quiet childhood. He had few friends growing up despite his father's urging for him to get some friends. He felt lonely without a mother yet had no desire to get rid of that loneliness by filling it with friends. The only real friend he had growing up was a young elf who had visited Marna on a pilgrimage with his mother. The boy new some magic, which to Tiir was something totally new and something of a fascination. Watching his friend cast simple magic he realized he had a desire to absorb the energy as though he needed it to live. Confused by this he refrained and soon the elf boy and his mother left.
When he turned 15 years old the Empire drafted him into the army. He resented it but had no choice. During one of the many training sessions as an Empire soldier trainee he was practicing with an older trainee who discovered his magic when he grew frustrated at not being able to beat Tiir. He blasted Tiir with fire, everyone presumed Tiir was dead when they saw the blast but instead Tiir was fine having absorbed the magic.
Since then the Empire had increasing interest trying to learn how he had done this. Little was ever found out about it and they called him the Īno Dwō, which means magic devourer in the ancient language. As the years went on Tiir honed his abilities and discovered he could absorb most all magic fired at him and occasionally turn it against the user. But he was never able to cast magic himself only redirect or absorb it. While his lack of magic was troubling he became an ideal soldier to fight against enemy mages. He was made a Lieutenant in the army but due to his disrespect to superiors and not following orders was not given a promotion. During a small fight to overtake a rebellion he refused to obey seeing the order as pointless and his superior officer as less superior than himself. The result was severe punishment and not getting the promotion he was going to get.
