Full Name: Nira (currently used)
Other name: Askivar, Dreamwatcher, Night Dancer, Thoughtseeker
Race: Werecat
Side: The Varden
Birthplace: Farthen Dur
Age: 23 years old
Gender: Female
Birthday: September 23d
Eyes: Silver with green and orange flecks (both forms)
Hair: Silvery, shoulder length hair (Humanoid), Light gray tabby fur with a white underbelly (Cat)
Weight: 94 pounds (Humanoid), 15 pounds (Cat)
Height: 4'11" (Humanoid), one and a half feet while standing (Cat)
Magic User: No (Mindbreaker)
Preferred Weapon(s): Her mind, lesser felines, claws, teeth
Appearance:
As a humanoid, Nira doesn't really look like much like a human or dwarf. She appears rather Elven, with ears that just barely end in points and a body which is gracefully built. However, due to her height and the fact that her ears are hardly pointed, it is fairly clear to educated folk that she is certainly not any elf. As a humanoid, Nira has silky hair which falls only an inch or so beyond her shoulders. This hair is a silvery color, and is oftentimes very noticeable within light. Her complexion is fairly pale, and flawed by a scar across her left cheek, apparently from three feline claws. While in her humanoid form, Nira has no preferences when it comes to clothes, instead wearing whatever happens to be available.
As a feline, Nira appears to be very large. While standing, she is a foot and a half tall, large enough to cause surprise when it comes to her size, but not large enough to cause suspicion. Her coat is thick and silky, with light gray fur and even lighter tabby stripes. Her underside is covered in white fur. As a cat, Nira is stronger then she is fast. Although she'd be able to run for a while and make sharp turns, the Werecat finds that her feline form is more effective for combat. However, Nira does prefer her feline form, and will use it to travel if no horse or other riding animal is available.
Personality:
Nira is a capricious and indecisive creature. Her mood is constantly changing, and so are her desires. She constantly switches from one idea to another, and then back to the original one. She hardly ever commits herself to anything, knowing that the next moment she may not like a decision she made. This may come off to other characters as her being unreliable, or perhaps they simply notice her indecisive tendencies.
Nira is also very much a free spirit. She goes and does as she pleases, rather than tying herself down to any one purpose or place. At times, this puts her at odds with the Varden, as the Werecat will occasionally wander away without explanation or warning. Most often, the places that she wanders to are controlled by either dwarves or elves. Because of this, Nira may occasionally bring back interesting gossip or even pass along messages, allowing her wandering to be useful.
Despite these, perhaps Nira's most notable characteristic is her intelligence. She is knowledgeable and always seems to know the recent happenings, as is typical for her race. She is clever, oftentimes picking up information very quickly and remembering it for a long time. Oftentimes, Nira enjoys toying with enemies and sometimes even friends during games of wit.

Family:
Medrai- Mother, Werecat (Deceased)
Khamir- Father, Werecat (Deceased)
History:
She was born to two Werecats who were visiting Farthen Dur, although they did later decide to stay in order to raise their daughter. Upon her birth, she was dubbed "Askivar", although undoubtably, she would eventually choose a name herself. The young Askivar remained in Farthen Dur with her parents for many years of her early life, until she was around twelve years old. While living in the dwarf city, Askivar learned much. She knew how to speak the dwarf language, and her parents taught her the common language, although she'd always have an accent similiar to those of dwarves. In addition, her mother had some Dwarven mages tutor her in shielding her mind, reading minds, and telepathy. This skill was honed even after the Werecat family left Farthen Dur, and Askivar later became very skilled in this.
The Werecat and her family traveled to Du Weldenvarden, where they were accepted into Ellesmera. Askivar there continued to hone her mental abilities. There, she choose several different names for herself, from those which had absolutely no meanings to those which reflected her abilities or what she thought of herself. Askivar began introducing herself as Nira. Nira left years later for Surda, in light of events.
Nira joined the Varden in order to be where the action was. She received a set of armor for her feline form and a dagger upon joining the rebels. She served mainly in reconnaissance missions, using her feline form to gain valuable information behind enemy lines. She has also assisted in battles, using here either skills as a Mindbreaker to help magicians or her feline form to help in physical combat.
Anything extra:
I based some of the things about this character on assumptions I've made about the Werecat race. This is pretty much entirely about the names, hence why Nira has so many other names listed.
