Farore gave a small smile as she heard that the elf rider (who's she had yet learn the name of) would be traveling. However, her glee was short lived as he mentioned that Vroengard is a painful subject to him. Hearing this, she wonder if maybe she should just decline Firern's offer to help, especially if his rider wasn't feeling up to the task. Yet, with no other surefire way for her to reach Vroengard, and the fact that Firern had freely volunteered to take her there, she knew that she couldn't do that.
Farore's attention was then grabbed as she heard Firern state that they would need time. She gave a quick nod, saying, "Of course, take all the time you may need." While she was in a hurry before, there was no point for her to do so now. After all, the whole point of her leaving in the first place was so that no one else would notice her leaving, which had proven to backfire on her, though admittedly, in a good way.
She then turned to look at Konner as she heard him offer his help to travel with them too. To tell the truth, she thought that Konner had left, and was a bit surprised to see that he had still been here this whole time. She did had to wonder though, if maybe there was another reason why Konner wanted to come along. After all, he went out of his way to mention the fact that he couldn't face Seril or Isyridia, but how come? Surely it mustn't be because of Brenton's death a month prior. In fact, if memory served right, she had actually seen Konner with Seril and Isrydia just a while back, when the two pupils were studying the stars.
Farore shook her head a bit as she knew she was over thinking the whole situation.
"Well, while I believe you should probably stay here and help continue training both Seril and Isrydia, I will not stop you if you decide to come. After all, it would always be nice to have some extra help on this trip." Farore mention, knowing that Konner was asking for the elf's permission and not her's, but thought she should give her two-cents to the situation anyways.
It should also be noted that she specifically didn't mention the fact that since, from all the maps she studied, Vroengard was due east from Ellasmera, it would be highly unlikely for them to be able to take sanctuary with the Varden, much less the dwarves, during this trip.

Emiryal Nyteshaed | Heir of the Forsworn | Former Empire Rider | Rider of Firern Emiryal nodded in agreement as Farore responded to Konnor. "You may join us if you wish," he said. He didn't mind if he came along, but why was it up to him to decide? Since leaving the Empire he had not been in any position of command nor did he want to be and this well kind of felt like that. "I'll meet you in a while then, I have few possessions I need only find supplies to bring," he said before turning and taking off into the forest headed in the direction deeper into the forest away from the elven city. He didn't stay to see if Konnor was going to come with them or not. Firern remained where he was for a few moments, he could easily catch up to Emiryal. But besides with his rider heading into the denser forest, well it would be hard for him to help or land so he didn't really have a reason to leave. He could hunt as they went, he didn't need to bring anything.

((Well, I'm tired of waiting for Flame to finally post, so...))
Farore watched as Emiryal walked into the forest to get some supplies he'll need for this trip. She guessed that he probably had sometype of hut or something that he was staying at in that direction. She did wonder for a second why he would live outside of the city, but seeing how he mentioned having some past association with Galbotorix, she could guess why,
She then looked over at Firern as he seemed to have chosen to keep her some company for the time being. It was nice knowing that she wouldn't have to wait for Emiryal all by herself, at least for the time being.
"Thanks again for doing this for me. I know it must not be easy to go out of your way to help a complete stranger on a journey like this." Farore said, grateful for the dragon's offer to help.

Konner had climbed into the trees as soon as Emiryal walked away and he started at a run toward the center of the city where a rather well hidden dragon roost was behind the palace. It had been built back when Brenton had first brought Vaentr to the forest but he had started staying with Grazael at the cliffs so as to keep look for Feanaro if he ever returned. Everyone knew that the king had taken a severe blow when the young rider had disappeared but it was something he had been forced to endure and so now Konner stayed at the roost. Of course it didn't bother him because there were only two entrances, a hidden trap door from a secret room behind the throne room or running through the trees and finding it since it was hidden by intricate spells. Soon the roost came within view and the rider dashed in to grab his stuff, packing a bunch of supplies that were medical and weapons as well. He had food and some clothes but mostly he slipped his armor into a bundle and then grabbed a huge pouch of gold and a smaller pouch of gems that he had been able to take. If anyone took them from him then he would claim them for himself again.
When he finished, Konner slipped his cloak off and switched it out for a more camouflaged one that he pulled the hood up on. Instantly he folded his normal assassin cloak and put it in the pack as he ran back out and dashed to the spot where Talon and Firern had stayed with Farore. All in all it took about twenty minutes for him to grab that stuff but along the way he picked up a stashed bow made of finely sung yew with some arrows. He jumped down next to Farore and stood there waiting for Emiryal to return as he shouldered his pack.

Emiryal Nyteshaed | Heir of the Forsworn | Former Empire Rider | Rider of Firern Emiryal's home was a simple one room hut. If anything it was far less than elaborate. It was a fair distance from the city so the elf rider took off at a run once out of view. He kept little of value at the hut and had not taken precautions to guard it by spells unless he occupied it. He opened the unlocked door and went inside. He grabbed a sack and stuffed some wine, bread and dried fruits into it as well as a small carving knife. He looked around the hut for anything else of use or anything that he should take so it wouldn't get stolen in his absence. Nothing. Nothing of value or of use to him on the trip. There was a fairth he had made and hung up of a valley near Uru'baen but he couldn't take that. He turned and grabbed his bow from where it hung on the wall and went outside. Firern's saddle lay near the hut, that was something he would need. As bulky as it was he lifted it without too much trouble and set off to meet back up with them. Firern waited patiently as his rider and the other rider left. When Farore spoke to him he lowered his head to be eye level with her. "I'm not so sure you are a complete stranger," he said vaguely. After having touched her mind in a simple act of speaking to her, something seemed oddly familiar but he couldn't quite place it. "That aside, I think it's good for Emiryal to leave this forest. We've been in hiding to long," he said.

Farore looked at Firern curiously as he mentioned that he isn't so sure she's a complete stranger. Did that mean that he recognized her from her past, or was he hinting at something else? She had no real way of telling. As for the reason why they've been hiding, she guessed it was because of they're past association with Galbatorix and it was probably best not to bring it up.
"I'm sorry, but what do you mean your not sure I'm a complete stranger? Have we perhaps met sometime before?" Farore asked.

Konner looked bored as he inspected his nails and waited but suddenly he caught a familiar presence, one that had been gone for a long time from their lives. Instantly the riders stood up straighter and his eyes went full alert as he tried to find the source where the mind had come from but could not discover that information at all. Just then an arrow blasted out and thudded into a tree a hands breadth from Konner's shoulder. He jerked ever so slightly but saw the royal fletchings and instantly pulled the medallion off of the arrow that had to be from Brenton. He knew it was Farore but why was he going to all of this trouble to let himself be dead?
Konner waved his hand and the arrow sped off back to its owner and he approached Farore carefully while he contemplated what the medallion could do. It can alert Laetri or any elven loyalist within the area if she is in harm. All she would need to do is clutch the medallion like it is her last hope and think about help coming to her aid. Even on Vroengard we have supporters hidden within the cracks and crevices. Brenton's voice spoke into Konner's mind and he jerked as he heard the king speaking to him.
Farore, take this medallion please. It will alert Laetri or any elven supporter within the area of your peril. All you must do in that situation is hold it in your hands like you are clutching to your last hope and think about help coming to you. Please, it was a gift to me from Brenton. Konner held out the non descript medallion of regular bronze shaped into an oak leaf with a dove holding an olive branch in the back. He looked at it and wondered what kind of spells were put onto the leaf to make it so special.

Firern studied the girl for a moment before responding. "No, we've never met but I feel like I know you anyways. I can't really explain or understand it," he said uncertainly. There was just something that seemed familiar to him like he should know it but the answer kept eluding him. He tensed when the arrow came expecting an attack. His reaction was quick and aggressive, ready to fight the attacker. Having been born and raised in the Empire such things meant an attack if not real at least training.
Emiryal burst through the trees just then alert and looking worried. He had drawn one of his swords and had dropped his supplies the moment he'd come into the open space. He relaxed seeing Konnor take the arrow and the medallion. Clearly it was not an attack. He retrieved his supplies and stuffed the meager items into Firern's saddle. "Farore rides with me," Firern declared to everyone there. This even seemed to catch Emiryal off guard. He said nothing though as Konnor explained the medallion.

"Oh... Well if you ever figure out why you feel like you know me, please don't hesitate to tell me." She said to Firern. She was abit disappointed really. Even though it was a long shot, she had hoped she had met someone who may have recognize her from her life before. In hindsight however, neither Emiyral nor Firern seemed to be over one hundred years old.
Farore then heard a solid thud right before she swiftly turned around to face the direction of the noise. There she saw an arrow that had nearly hit Konnor. And it seemed to be carrying something. Farore didn't have the time to see what it was though, as she then heard someone rustling through the woods. As she turned to face that, however, she had found out that it was Emiryal with his sword drawn.
Once the tension had died down, Farore took notice that she had drawn her sword, and quickly returned it to it's sheath. It soon turned out that there was more to the arrow then it seemed, as with a simple wave of Konner's hand, the arrow had headed back to the person whom Farore could only guess was it's owner. She now had a better to see what the arrow had sent, noticing that it was a medallion of sometype. Firern then took the chance to announce that Farore was going to ride with him, which did answer a question that was stuck in her mind.
Konner then explained to everybody what the medallion was as he handed off to Farore. She gratefully took the medallion as she carefully studied it's simply design.
"Thanks Konner, this means alot. I know how much Brenton probably meant to you. I wish I had a way to thank you for this." She said as she put it on, "Though I must ask why it was sent the way it was in the first place?" This did bother her as it seemed completely odd that the medallion that Konner said he had received from Brenton was sent to them through an arrow.

Konner smiled sadly as he looked over toward the direction of the archer. Truthfully it had bothered him that one of his friends wouldn't talk to him. Why was he hiding if he wasn't dead, surely he knew about people mourning.
The dragon rider assassin knight looked back at Farore. Maybe they wish for you to be safe but don't want to be seen as of now. Konner sympathized for it was like him hiding his identity as well.

Firern dipped his head slightly indicating he'd tell her if he found out why. It was a strange feeling to know her but not know her. As Konnor and Farore spoke, Emiryal tighten the straps on his dragon's saddle to make sure it was secure. "Firern what is your interest in her?" he asked his dragon privately.
"She seems familiar to me, like I should recognize her, but I know we've never met before and-" the black dragon replied but cut off mid sentence. He looked at his rider in surprise, Firern had never met her, but Emiryal was much older than he looked. Firern had been sensing Emirayl's thoughts and a vague memory giving him the odd sensation of knowing Farore. The memory was to vague to recall if Emiryal had actually met her before but it seemed possible. Firern, shush, your grabbing at nothing. I don't know her alright. I've met many people during my life and she's not one of them," Emiryal insisted hearing Firern's thoughts. Firern didn't seem convinced.
Emiryal sighed. "Farore? May I help you up?" he offered indicating Firern's saddle. After waiting for a reply he spoke again. "Firern thinks I've met you before I was a rider, he thought one of my memories had you in it, he's not convinced when I tell him I haven't met you. Tell him, have you ever met me before?" he asked. He was waiting for a no, so as to convince Firern about it and settle the matter.
((Emiryal is 127 years old, so I dunno if he would've met her back then or not, so it can either be true or a false lead. up to you.))

((Actually, I kind of like the idea of Emiryal having at least seen Farore before the Dragon War. So I'm going to leave it up to you whether or not he has actually met Farore sometime before (maybe when he was just a kid).))
Konnor answered Farore's question, but it proved to only create more questions then it answered. Who were 'they'? It seemed to her that he was alluding that it was Brenton who sent the medallion, but how was that possible? Brenton's dead, right? Or could there be something more going that she just couldn't see yet?
She snapped out of her train of thought when she heard Emiryal offer to help her onto Firern's saddle. "Oh... Uhh... No, I should be fine. Thanks." She said before she went to go get on Firern. Before she could, however, Emiryal told her that Firern said they had met before, but Emiryal wasn't so convince.
Could that be why Firern thinks he recognizes me? She wonder for a second as she dug through her memory to see if something had popped up. But, as she suspected, there was still nothing there.
"I'm sorry, but I can't remember if whether we have met before or not." She said to the pair right before she got onto Firern's saddle, waiting patiently for the other's to mount up so that they could finally head off.

Emiryal climbed up next to Farore and made sure the straps were secure as she spoke. "That's, alright. I don't recall either," he said. A lot had happened to him and he'd met many people, to know if he'd met her before was hard to know. He'd have to think about it and maybe something would remind him if he had met her. Firern didn't say anything but seemed to be insisting on the fact.
"Coming Konnor?" Emiryal asked as Firern spread his wings then lept into the air. It took a few strokes of his wings to rise above the tall trees but he did so without much apparent effort, even with two passengers. He circled waiting for Konnor and his dragon before starting for the edge of the forest and from there towards the ancient home of the riders. "So where are you originally from?" Emiryal asked trying to make light conversation and break the silence. "I'm originally from Nadindel, I haven't been back there since I fled the empire though," he said. He didn't even know if his parents were still alive.

Konner climbed into Talon's saddle as he looked toward Brenton's hidden form. With a nod he took off and felt the wind rustle through his hair like a warm breath. He smiled over at Emiryal as the older rider asked if he was ready. The red dragon flapped his wings and soon Konner was flying even with the others.

Farore quickly situated herself on Firern's saddle as she waited for them to head off. Then, with just a few flaps of Firern's wings, they were up in the air. It was honestly a bit weird for her to find herself above the forest canopy. She had been in Ellesmera for as long as she could remember that she wasn't use to being under the unfiltered sun, causing her to have to blink a few times to help refocused her vision.
The sensation of flying was an odd, but slightly familiar feeling to her. It made sense to her why she would feel this way, seeing how she was once a rider. Though she had to admit she didn't understand the reason why her shoulders felt very cramp.
"Where I'm from originally? Hmm..." Farore thought back on the question as she wondered the same thing. Where was she from originally? It was just gonna be another question she didn't have the answer for.
"I can't really recall." She replied honestly to Emiryal as she looked back towards the forest for one last time.

Emiryal glanced at Farore. Did she not recall or not want to tell him? It was hard to know. "I see," he said not sure how else to respond to her. It would be a fair while even by dragon to the edge of the forest, and as long as they were over the forest Emiryal wasn't worried. When they left it though, well if they ran onto any Empire Riders surely they'd be after him. "Well then, recently do you just stay in Ellesmera?" more light conversation but should be something she could recall being recent. Ellesmera had been where Emiryal had stayed since his return from the Empire.

Konner enjoyed the wind blowing his hair into his face as the red dragon flew toward the edge of Du Weldenvarden. In the distance lay the Empire and past that was the sea with Vroengard and Doru Araeba. Konner felt the sun beat down upon them and the slight muscle movement beneath him as Talon examined the surroundings. The red dragon bugled in joy as he shot into the clouds and felt the cool droplets on his scales. Dragon and rider felt pure joy every time they flew anywhere or were in the sky for any reason. Something to do with the freedom it gave them.

"Well, I've been living at Ellesmera for the past couple of months." Farore answer as she took in the sites. It was hard for her to belief that in her past life, being up her in the sky was a common thing for her. She wondered if she had ever tired of the quickly scrolling ground below her and of the clear sky above.
She looked over to her side as she took notice of Konner flying on top of Talon. They both looked more at ease up here then she had ever seen them. Was her and her dragon like that whenever they flew through the air?
"So how about you, Emiryal? Have you stayed in Ellesmera for long?" She asked the elf rider, trying to find something to occupy her mind.
