Average lifespan: infinite until killed
Average Height: depends on age
Average Weight: depends on age
Appearance: They are reptilian, with scales, sharp teeth, bat-like membraned wings. and a tongue that was covered with hooked barbs. They develop the ability to breathe fire as they are 6 months old. And their color varied from dragon to dragon. Dragons can grow to be larger than most houses and some older dragons could be confused with large hills.
Dragon eggs tended to be the same color as the dragon's scales, as did the color of their Rider's magic. Their scales are very strong, capable of deflecting arrows, even on the underbelly. The wings are the weakest part of their body, composed of only a thin membrane of flesh. All dragons eat meat, especially deer.
Personality: Personality varies from individual to individual. However, females tended to be more aggressive, vain, and stronger than males.
Alignment: any.
Special Traits: Dragons can be bound to a human or elf making them a Dragon rider. To do this certain words were said over the egg before the dragon hatches. These words ensured that the dragon would only hatch for the one destined to be its Rider.
An already hatched dragon cannot be bound to a rider and is considered a wild dragon.
