After casting the necessary protection spells on himself, Firern and Farore the old island came into view. Much to his relief they had not run onto any trouble during the trip. The black dragon landed amid the ruins in what appeared to have been a large plaza. Emiryal got off Firern and then turned to help Farore down. "Welcome to Vrogenard. Don't wander to far from the dragons, there are many dangers here," he said.

So they had finally arrived at Vroengard. While it had took them longer then Farore originally thought it would, at least the trip proved to be quite peaceful. Before Farore could cast any of the spells protecting her from the hazardous environment of Vroengard, Emiryal had cast them on her himself. It wasn't long after this when they had landed in a plaza on the island.
"Thanks" She said to Emiryal as the elf rider helped her off the dragon. She then walked a few feet away from the dragon as she listened to Emiryal warn her to not stray to far from the dragon, "I'll keep that in mind." Farore said as she took a second as she observed her surroundings. It felt very weird to be here as she found the whole place strangely familiar, but also different at the same time.
"So this was the home of the riders. It's different from what I had originally imagined." She thought outloud as she tried to figure out what exactly she was going to do now that she was here.

The air was toxic and heavy as Konner finished the protection spells upon himself and Talon. All in all, he was glad to be there as Konner thought about all of the riches on Vroengard. Hidden tomes, untold riches, weapons long forgotten. All of it was possible and he would take back as much as possible. Talon landed and Konner pulled a piece of cloth up over his mouth and nose as well as the hood up. He dismounted and pulled the sword from his saddle. It went onto his belt and he made sure the hidden blades worked. So Vroengard hasn't changed much since I was here last.

Emiryal sat down on the rubble of a destroyed building. "Vroengard doesn't change much at all anymore. It's so isolated," he said. He didn't look too much at ease being here. Vroengard reminded him of his time in the Empire, and more than that, something only Firern knew. He'd meet the love of his life on Vroengard, only to end up fighting her in a battle later on, he had no idea what happened to her and had no way of finding her. It was hard to come to a place with so many memories.

((Sorry for the delay))
Farore continued to look around as the other two spoke. It was obvious that this place had not been inhabited by anyone for years based on all the overgrowth that had taken resident on what was once beautiful architecture. She felt a tear begin to form in her eye as she saw this, not knowing exactly why.
"It's sad. Seeing all this. It's hard to imagine what this place once was anymore." She then turned her head to a familiar looking path and found her feet beginning to lead her that way. Farore had no idea where exactly she was heading, but she felt a sudden need to head in that direction. Could it be that the answers she's looking for be that way, or was it something else that lured her in that direction.

Konner made one last check before he looked at Emiryal and suddenly he was bounding over the rubble toward the heart of what was once the beautiful stronghold. It could be brought back if one day the air were cleansed of the toxins that circulated and made it uninhabitable. Konner jumped onto a fallen wall and ran at a 45 degree angle toward a battlements that actually still stood even though it was ancient. As the rider assassin got near, he sprung lightly up into the air and flipped over the wall just to land on the walkway where the archers would hide.
Next came the tricky part, finding the entrance to the underground vaults where he could get to the stored gold and gems. Taking a small coin purse, Konner cast several spells repeatedly until he was fairly certain the purse would never be full and would continuously take more gold and gems. Suddenly he saw what he needed in the form of a fallen tower in the right side where shadows seemed to collect in pools. Konner walked toward the shadows and crouched down to slip into the hole where he fell into a room that was barely lit past his immediate surroundings. He csst a spell and light flooded the area to reveal a large room filled with treasure chests over flowing with riches and racks of weapons and armor.

Emiryal sighed and watched as the two head off headed who knew where. He wasn't aware of the treasure Konner was after and if he had he wouldn't have really wanted it. All he wanted was to stay away from the Empire and try to live a normal life again. His family as it was had a decent wealth, more than enough to sustain them without more treasures. "Should we follow her?" Firern asked. Konnor was a rider and could take care of himself and he had his dragon but Farore, well...he didn't know. "Please Firern, you know I hate this place. Don't make me awaken more memories," he said. "...you were right about the memory. I do know Farore and she's not what she seems to be but me telling her won't change anything in fact it might be worse than her not knowing," he said.
The black dragon watched Emiryal with blue eyes for a moment before speaking. "Fine, but I'm going with her," he said moving his leg away from Emiryal who had been leaning on him. "Ah! Firern!" he complained not expecting it and falling backwards. He righted himself into a sitting position. "Oh alright, go," he said. With that Firern took off after Farore. He flew above her, his shadow casting over her. He watched but said nothing as he wondered what she was up to. He caught a glimpse of Konnor going over a wall but thought nothing of it.

((Sorry that this is over a month late))
As Farore walked through the overgrown path, she noticed a large shadow cascade over her. With a hand by her blade, she glanced up to see that it was just Firern. Relieved to see that it was just a friendly face, she released her grip on her swords handle as she continued on her way.
She soon found herself at a decrepit training ground. Looking around, something about this place felt very familiar about this. Like this place held some type of significants to her. Yet why? What was so special about this place? It looked alot like the training grounds found back in Ellesmera, so why would this one in particular feel special to her.
Farore walked into the middle of the field and crouched down, scooping a small clump of loose dirt as she did so. She watched the dirt carefully as it slowly drained from her gloved hand, with a slight frown as if she had some hope she would be able to find the answers she was looking for within.
Glancing upward, her eyes once again caught sight of Firern. This time, however, it was quickly followed by a large and sudden shock of pain jolting through her mind. Farore grunted in pain as she closed her eyes shut and immediately grasped her head with her hand while she used the other one to hold her steady.
What was going on? Was she remembering something, or was this something else entirely? Could someone have somehow be attacking her mentally without her noticing thier intrusion into her mind? She didn't sense anyone in her mind, but the pain was so intense that it was hard for her to be completely sure. It could even have been something in the dirt that she had accidentally breathed in and was now messing with her mind? She just had no idea what was going on, and that fact was what scared her the most.
