{I am exhausted and museless, so skip me. Assume that Fasail and Aroure continued fighting on the wall, Rowanis is looking for new things to do to help the Varden, and Arya is battling Thorn and Murtagh from the opposite side of them that Eragon is on.}

ISRYDIA AND ARLYN
((There was some god-modding their describing Isrydia's reactions to Nangoroth's attacks, that's not what I think she would do so I'll leave Nan's actions the same and change hers a bit...))
As Arlyn flew upwards at the shadowy beast's underbelly, unable to see Nangoroth from below, he felt a sudden extra weight on his back. Being around eight months old, he was still small enough to notice the extra work he had to put into carrying two people. The sudden doubling in effort to stay aloft alerted him to something's presence on his back. "Isrydia, there's something on my back behind you!" he warned her as soon as he realised. Isrydia twisted around to see the Shade slice at her, feeling a drain of energy as her wards stopped his sword. Her heart was in her throat. That was far too close to death than she was comfortable with. How was she supposed to fight him from Arlyn's back? There was no room for moving about. In a battle the ride was so bumpy. If she were not strapped in she feared she might fall. That thought, it wasn't as though she had a choice. Fight the Shade or be killed by him, those were her options. Sensing Arlyn shouting in her mind for her to stop, she unstrapped her legs and stood on her dragon's back, balancing precariously. It was tricky, dangerously tricky. For a moment she thought she would fall and it would all be over quick as that, but Nangoroth screamed as his shadow-beast's head came tumbling down. Wasting no opportunity, Isrydia thrust her sword right at the Shade's heart.
Summary: Isrydia reluctantly unstraps herself from Arlyn's saddle and tries to stab Nangoroth in the heart.
RI'SHEI
So the human soldier was quick too. Ri'Shei was surprised to find him more talented that the average soldier. Ordinarily she would have been pleased for the challenge, but in a battle with the entire Empire at stake she had been hoping for more easy pickings to sweep the floor with. Never mind, he would be dealt with in time. The kick connected with her shin, forcing her knee to buckle despite her bracing herself. The soldier was strong too. Her attention was not distracted by the stumble, yet all the same it left her open to his attack. On instinct she gave a clumsy parry, knocking his blade away with her own. It did not pierce her stomach, but instead drove into and along her right forearm. Blood dribbled from the long cut as she swore loudly and colourfully. The pain was searing. She tested its movement, concerned all the more as she was right-handed. Everything was functional, thankfully, but every single movement sent fresh pain stabbing through her arm. Deciding to give her right arm a break for a moment or two, she powered on through the pain. Stepping to one side so that her right side was further away from Velathan, she feinted right then darted left with a stab at his chest.
Summary: Ri'Shei is knocked off-balance and gets cut on the arm, feints, then tried to stab Velathan in the chest.
ERAGON AND SAPHIRA
Eragon shook his head. "No, Murtagh, it doesn't! There's a way out! Emiryal managed it and so did Brenton, I know you can too," he called. He would have said more but Saphira was twisting away from Thorn's flames. Dragons did not feel the scorching heat so badly as other species, but it was unpleasantly warm and still burned at her eyes. She was forced to shut them against the stinging flames, and had Eragon in mind too, concerned they would wash over her neck and back to reach her Rider. It was just as well she did; that left Thorn more open for Arya's attack. Saphira watched as he plummeted.
"This is our chance. Drop me over them, I can attack Murtagh while he's on the wall," Eragon told Saphira. She swooped low with intentions of attacking Thorn while he was injured. Perhaps she could even separate the dragon from the Rider, although given Eragon's plan to engage Murtagh in a sword fight that would require her leaving Eragon as well. She would see how things went. Eragon released himself from the saddle in preparation, then when Saphira was a few feet above Murtagh, jumped down.
"Brisingr!" The blue sword crackled with flames as he stretched out a hand above his brother, sending more of the same fire leaping out to the Rider. No doubt he was warded, but it was always worth a try. Were Eragon to land, he would land heavily and swing Brisingr in a slash at whatever part of Murtagh was nearest.
Summary: Saphira is bothered by the fire. Eragon jumped off her back to attack Murtagh as he heals Thorn.

William blinked from his place upon nighthood at Dyami. He had noticed the looks and stares he had been getting from other troops, But he figured that was normal considering most thought that he had died. He quickly returned the Salute to Dyami and glanced around.
"I am not going to make a fragrant speech this time, No. We have a job to do, and you all know what it is. We have worked hard for the past several years to achieve this goal, All that is asked is one more push. One more push to see this tyrant unthroned. What do you say Men?" William asked as he rode to the front of the collection of men, Who all shouted in agreement. "Well then. Lets write ourselves into history!" He then gave a smile to Dyami before he raised his sword and cast it forward in a charge sign.
Summary: William gives a speech and charges into battle with the men

Nangoroth looked back as the rider thrust her sword towards his heart. The shade dispersed into air and used his magic to teleport himself to the offside of the battle. He started walking away. Nangoroth noticed that the battle was starting to go in the varden's favor. Some would call the shade a coward but he would live to take down the varden another day.

Raises his sword and charges at the shade while tintaglia fights off the remaining soldiers around her trying to protect her rider from harm and yells to saphira "saphira my rider has engaged a shade please send help!"

Rerukusu (Reru)
Rerukusu had expected an attack not a curse. He'd been angry at Brenton a moment before for what he said but now he watched the half elf fall. "Idiot," he growled. "I'm not fighting for my father." It wasn't like Brenton would hear him though. He instantly realized what had happened though with his power being cut off, that was quite a blow but he wasn't helpless. Even without it he was a capable rider.
Avendel dropped to meet Talon when she sat the new threat and snapped at his wings.
Summary: Reru realizes what the curse did and his dragon enganges Talon.
Sayoran Li
Sayoran wanted to protest and say he'd stay with his king but Grimrr was right. If he fell due to his injuries he'd be no use. "Very well," he said and headed off to retreat back to the Varden's support troupes where the healers where.
Summary: Sayoran does as Grimrr tells him and retreats to go find healers to help treat his injuries.
Murtagh
The fire harmlessly went around Murtagh as he spun around to face Eragon and raised Zar'roc to stop the blow at the last moment. He pushed against Eragon's blade to shove him back away from Thorn. He was protecting the dragon.
Thorn's wing was mostly healed but Murtagh hadn't been able to finish before Eragon attacked. He moved away from the riders and watched Saphira waiting for her to attack. Certainly she would and if timed right he'd jump off the wall when she did so she'd crash into it buying him some time to gain a height advantage over her.
Summary: Murtagh engages Eragon on the wall. Thorn waits for Saphira to attack.
Emiryal
"We're coming," Emiryal said when he heard Konner's plea for back up. Firern, his dragon blasted fire at the soldiers who had downed the golden dragon and her rider Caspian. As soon as the soldiers were forced back the other dragon lept into the safety of the air. Then Firern started climbing so they could join Konner. The delay of helping the younger rider though had cost him time.
Summary: Emiryal helps Caspian in battle and goes to Konner's aid in fighting Reru.

David watched as people died everywhere. He himself killing many Empire forces, sometimes side by side with urgals, sometimes side by side with Dwarves. Once and a while he found himself side by side with Werecats and Elves. Mostly though, he fought side by side with his own kin, humans. Surdans, ex Empire.. They were all united against the empire for one cause, to stop the suffering he had caused. It was a beautiful thing, and this was why David knew they were going to win. He then saw one of his only friends Velathan dueling a female empire warrior. he began to run towards them, cutting through Empire warriors as he got closer. When he was just close enough to engage He saw her stab for his friends chest. He rose his free hand and barked "letta!" he then followed up with a deflect in case the magic didn't work. He did not afford his friend a smile or a greeting, instead he stood side by side with him, ready for the women to make her next move. Summary: David kills more empire dudes, then joins Velathan in his fight with Ri'Shei

Velathan gave a nod of thanks to David for deflecting the blow that would have surely injured if not killed him had he not been present. He swiflty returned his gaze to Ri'shei and shifted his weight to gain a more balanced position as he began to circle around to her side, searching for an opening. "You may as well surrender! You've already lost." he called to her, keeping his shied and sword facing her and ready at all times. "You can't beat us both." he continued, hoping to convince her to submit. Both he and David were skilled swordsmen, and David was a magician too. Surely there was not other way for this fight to end, but for her death.

ISRYDIA AND ARLYN
For a moment, Isrydia thought her attack would be successful. Iarmailt was running true towards the Shade's heart, and nothing had been done to block it. She subconsciously held her breath with anticipation. Killing a Shade was not a feat to be taken lightly. At the last moment, however, the Shade disappeared, using some kind of spell to teleport himself away. "Damn you!" Isrydia shouted in frustration. She looked around but couldn't see Nangoroth anywhere. Concern filled her that he was somewhere else on the battlefield now, attacking people less able to defend themselves against such a strong opponent.
Arlyn shook underneath her and she nearly fell off, falling down and clinging to the spikes on his back for dear life. He roared in anger. Someone had nearly killed his Rider then, but he could not tell where the unexpected force had come from. He turned his head frantically, trying to remain as still as possible as Isrydia strapped herself back into the saddle. Finally he noticed an Empire Rider he did not recognise looking right at them, a female on a greyish brown dragon. He went straight for them. After a moment Isrydia realised what was happening and prepared to fight. The two dragons collided, becoming a mass of teeth and claws as they attacked one another.
Summary: Isrydia and Arlyn attack an NPC Empire Rider
THROKK
Around Throkk, humans and elves started appearing. In the chaos of the battle he had found it hard to tell what progress they had been making, evidently the two groups had met in the middle and were now making their way towards the castle where Galbatorix was probably hiding. It was hard to tell who was winning, but the combined Varden forces did seem to be making their way through those of the Empire with reasonable speed. Throkk swung his battle-axe wherever he could, the slow weapon sometimes avoided, sometimes not. When not avoided, it more often than not claimed a life.
Summary: Throkk and the dwarves and urgals have met with the human and elf group and are pushing further through the city.
RI'SHEI
Ri'Shei had been too focused on her fight with Velathan to notice another man show interest in the pair. She was taken by surprise as her sword stopped in mid-air, then was knocked aside by another blade. She was thrown off-balance for a moment, long enough for David and Velathan to adapt their postures to fighting together rather than alone, losing her the chance of striking before they could properly get into any kind of formation. She muttered a curve. That was a big mistake! Saving an ally by deflecting a blow was one thing, but David could have stabbed her in the back and she wouldn't have seen it coming. She definitely needed to stop herself becoming so absorbed in a fight in future. "So you say. I have two swords, and two opponents. One for each of you," she replied to Velathan's attempt at making her submit. She jumped towards him, then at the last moment turned and slashed at David's left shoulder. Keeping her momentum going, she used it to spin and lash out at Velathan for real this time, aiming for his knees.
Summary: Ri'Shei decides to carry on fighting Velathan and David.
ERAGON AND SAPHIRA
Saphira heard Tintaglia's plea and as much as she understood the dragon's feelings, she was unable to do anything about them. "I'm a bit busy right now, you'll have to find someone else! Try your best to keep fighting!" she replied. She was worried for the young Rider, but at the same time could not allow much to fill up her mind in her fight with Murtagh and Thorn. The red dragon was injured and Murtagh distracted. He was watching her, so must be expecting an attack. One came. She flew at him, opening her jaw in preparation for a bite, bracing herself for a retaliation. Sure enough, he jumped at her. She had been expecting him to hack and claw at her, not thinking he would leave the wall with his wing in bad shape. It must be better than she had thought. Even had she been more ready for it, there would have been little she could have done to prevent the crash. Thorn was on her too quickly, and he was a good deal larger than her thanks to the Empire accelerating his growth. The heavier dragon shoved her down to the ground, her wings beating to try and spin them so he was cushioning her fall but failing to do so.
"SAPHIRA!" Eragon shouted as he was pushed away from Thorn, seeing the dragon push himself away from the wall and collide with his partner. She landed heavily and he felt pain shoot through her mind. She was alive, not mortally injured, but in a lot of pain. Feeling such things from her made him furious. Desire to attack renewed, he shoved Brisingr at any part of Murtagh he could see. The flurry of attacks were rage-driven and easy to block, but the anger also gave them speed and strength.
Summary: Saphira is hurt by Thorn and Eragon is not happy.

Morrow [/center] "Hold your ground men. We have to repel these rebellious dogs and show them the price they shall pay for their treasonous acts." Morrow called out to his men from upon his loyal steed as he thrusted his spear into a Varden soldier while bashing his shield into another. The number of Varden coming at them seemed to be endless. Yet still they needed to do everything they could to drive back the Varden's forces, for if they don't, who knows how many lives would be lost. As he fought against the Varden forces with everything he had, the 'knight' saw something at the corner of his eye. It appeared to him that Ri'shei, a warrior he had learned to both respect and admire, was being outnumbered two against one. And while he knew she could probably handle herself, he didn't want to take a chance at them losing such a powerful soldier in this battle. "Two against one ehh... Well that won't do at all. Hyuh!" He said to himself as he urged his horse to charge full speed into the fray, aiming his spear to skewer Velathan. Yet whether his attack would land was up to the gods. Summary: Morrow is coming in to assist Ri'shei, aiming an attack at Velathan in the process.
Trelik Trelik felt sick as he watched the carnage below him unfold. It was just barbaric to him on how these soldier were able to butcher each other seemingly without a second thought. It wouldn't be much of an understatement to say that it took the thief some willpower to not lose his lunch over the building he perched on. And the battles above didn't seem to be much better as those involved did everything they can to get an advantage over the other. This is why I hate war so much. So much bloodshed to what end? So that a new monarch could rule and for the cycle to begin anew. Trelik thought to himself as he watched the carnage. He more then understood the need to have Galbatorix's reign of tyranny to come to an end, but he wish the Varden could have done in another way so that hundreds of lives didn't need to be wasted. At least he can take solace that Morrow seemed to be holding himself pretty well. Perhaps his presence wouldn't be needed afterall. As his eyes scanned the battlefield to keep track of the current progress of what's going on, he noticed something of urgency. With it being small and quite some distance away, he pulled out a pocket telescope to confirm what he saw. This is not good. He thought as he extended his mind to warn Farore of what he just saw. Summary: Trelik feels sick watching the battle, but then takes notice something that he decides to inform Farore about.
Farore The Dragon Spirit helped lead the charge into the city as she gaves orders to the soldiers around her to keep them organize. So far everything seemed to be going smoothly. While the Empire were still putting up a fight, their numbers appeared to be slowly draining. Even the fights above seemed to be going their way. It probably wouldn't be long before they get to the castle. While Farore should be happy about these facts, she knew from experience that she should never underestimate her opponents. She remained conscious of every ambush spot she had discovered during her extensive studies on this area as well as whatever other places that the Varden could take advantage of. After all, it doesn't take much for the tide of battle to turn, so while she had to plan for ten moves ahead, she also had to keep in mind back up plans along the way in case something goes awry. As she pressed forward, she began to feel a presure inside her mind as if someone was trying to invade. She had immediately put up mental defenses, but took them down once she realized who the other mind was. Farore. Bad news. There's a little girl on the streets just about fifteen blocks away from the main gate. Trelik's voice quickly informed her. There is. What's she doing outside? Farore responded. I don't know, but with the way this battle is going right now, if you don't get to her quick, she'll be caught in the crossfire for sure. Trelik said as he also supplied her of a mental picture of the girl. Alright. I'm on it. Farore then ran forward as fast as she could, quickly dispatching any soldier in her way. While she was frustrated that the thief couldn't just rescue the girl himself, but understood that thief was probably not in a position to do so. At least he informed her of the girl's presence on the battle field. Yet that did beg the question if she could trust the thief enough that this isn't some kind of trap. Well only one way to really find out. Summary: Farore ran off ahead to try to rescue a little girl who's about to end up in the middle battlefield.

Rerukusu (Reru) Avendel roared at Konnor and his dragon before snapping at the other dragon's wings. Reru sighed seeing Emiryal show up to help. He jumped off Avendel's back using his own wings to fly and take on Emiryal while Avendel fought Konnor. He'd have to trust the wards on her would hold. He slashed his sword at Emiryal hoping to knock him out of the fight quickly.
Summary: Avendel engages Konnor and his dragon while Reru engages Emiryal and Firern.
Emiryal Emiryal blocked Reru's blade just as he saw it coming. "You'll have to do better than that," he said as Firern snapped at Reru trying to bite him. It was an unfair size advantage it seemed and two on one. This wasn't going to be all that hard now was it? He couldn't underestimate Reru though he knew he was powerful.
Summary: Emiryal blocks Reru's attack.
Murtagh
Thorn roared at her in triumph. He tried to keep her pinned down. If she got air borne she'd have an advantage over him but here on the wall his size was an advantage that he could use against her. He kept his wings out in an attempt for balance to counter her trying to spin them. He didn't dare copy her since his wing wasn't fully healed. He felt he starting to gain ground as they started to roll to the side. He quickly when for her neck to bite her, he would hold the bite as a warning but he didn't actually want to kill her.
Murtagh laughed and blocked the onslaught of blows as they came. The speed made it difficult but he was exceptional when it came to fighting. Despite that a few blows made it through due to the sheer force of them. "Brinsigr!" he said blasting Eragon with red flames. He couldn't get much of an attack in with Zar'roc when he was forced to defend. Magic though he could manage that, an area attack so he wouldn't miss.
Summary: Thorn fights Saphira and tries to bite her neck. He tries to keep her pinned. Murtagh blocks most but not all of Eragon's attack and uses a blast of fire against him.

Konner felt the slight shift in Talon's wings as the red dragon veered off to avoid the attack. Avendel was busy snapping at both of them but Rerukusu had his attention focused on Emiryal. Instead of thanking Emiryal for joining them in battle, Konner simply struck out at the dragon with a sword. He didn't intend for the blow to hit but the assassin was waiting for Avendel to notice him instead of Talon.
If it worked then Talon would be safe. Still the dragon risked it and snaked his head out for a shot at Avendel's throat.
Clarissa was soaring on the back of Vervada when she saw the fight below with Ri'Shei. Before it had been one on one and so not much of a threat but now there were two of them and it looked like Morrow as well. With a sigh, Clarissa dropped from the back of Vervada and straight into the midst of the melee. With determination she grabbed the handle of the whip and uncoiled it from her wrist in one motion. Need help here, Ri'Shei?

David Lightningsword
David shook his head slightly at Ri'shei's response "It would take you two swords to beat just one of us." He responded in a deep tone. He then quickly brought his sword up to deflect the woman's blow. he then watched as she attacked his friend. Next he saw a empire officer on a horse barrel down towards velathan, spear out ready to make him a Velathan-ski-bob. "Velathan, watch out!" David roared in warning. His next movement was a slash at Ri'shei's side, he then followed up by grabbing an arm and pulling her away from his friend. Velathan could take the empire officer, while David dealt with this sword master woman. David then locked his sword with hers and growled "Just you and me now." Of course that all changed when a femlae rider dropped into battle. "Okay, maybe not" David reasoned as he prepared for two on one, knowing he was so out of his league. Summary: David blocks attack, warns Velathan about Morrow, slashes at Ri'shei's side, and pulls her into one on one battle, until Clarissa showed up.King Orik
The Dwarves and Urgals had finally broken into their gate, and were pushing the empire forces back. Orik led the assault with his spell caster body guards. Volund claiming empire life after empire life "Akh knurla! Akh knurlagn! Akh vanyali! Akh Gûntera!" (For Dwarves, for Men, for Elves. for Gûntera!!) (plus that is the LAST time i translate something into dwarvish.. that was TOO HARD ) The King of the dwarves roared as he took out another empire soldier. He looked to the sky and watched Eragon and Saphira fight. Orik wanted nothing more than to get revenge for Hrothgar's death, but alas he had no dragon to help him battle Murtagh and Thorn " Wound him once for me!" Orik roared at the sky. Summary: Orik shouts encouragement to the dwarves, and tells Eragon to hurt Murtagh and Thorn for him

((Not enough time to post for all my characters, they're all around if anyone wants to involve them in anything))
RI'SHEI Ri'Shei was momentarily distracted by the arrival of not one but two of her friends and allies to assist her. "I was managing fine, thanks! Not that I'd say no to a bit of help," she greeted Clarissa after acknowledging Morrow. The moment's pause was enough for David's sword to slice across her black Empire chainmail. Although she did not usually wear much armour, she was thankful now that she had accepted the protection other Empire soldiers had. The cut had damaged the armour by cutting through some links in the mail. The metal had prevented the sword from reaching her skin, though it would like as not leave a bruise. Before she knew it she had been shoved to one side, separating her from Velathan and making the fight more fair.
She was unsure how the logistics of this struggle would work out. Three against two was good odds. Yet David had tried making their fight an individual one-on-one. She doubted Morrow or Clarissa would stand for that. Those two were free to wait until either David or Velathan were preoccupied, then attack. The enemy would be too busy to defend themselves and more likely to suffer for it. The best thing Ri'Shei could do was to keep David busy. She swung both swords horizontally simultaneously at his torso, then aimed a strong sweeping kick at his knees.
Summary: Ri'Shei is hit and tries to keep David busy to help Clarissa and Morrow.
ERAGON AND SAPHIRA Saphira thrashed about furiously, desperate to be rid of Thorn. He was heavier and bigger than her, too much heavier to make it at all easy for her to push him away. Her best hope was to make it harder for him to keep hold of her, so that she might slip out. there was little she could do to stop him biting her, twisting away but being unable to move far enough. She roared as his teeth put pressure on the scales of her neck, in a few places denting or even breaking through gaps to the skin beneath. She used anything she could to try hurting him. Her tail cracked like a whip, spikes adding to the potential damage. Four clawed paws raked at any part of the red dragon they could find. The bite meant she could not bite him back, but the moment it was over she reached to try sinking her teeth into his wounded wing. Her main target was that wounded wing, but any hit was welcomed. She too did not want to kill him. None of the attacks would cause damage beyond repair, but they might well hurt. Her aim was to force him to submit, to defeat him, to beat the Empire's champion.
The dragons' struggling was a worry in Eragon's mind, but he forced himself to be aware of it but ignore it for the sake of his own fight. Just as Saphira did not want to kill Thorn, he did not want to kill Murtagh. It was a ridiculous to think his brother might be redeemed after all this yet some part of him still saw how the other Rider was with the Empire against his will. How much of that had been changed by Galbatorix he had yet to see. At the start he knew it had not been Murtagh's wish to join the mad king.
The flames he let his wards take. An uncomfortable warmth swept over his face, stinging his eyes with the heat, but he was unharmed. The brightness of the red fire blinded him. For a moment, he was unable to continue his barrage of attacks. The break was convenient for Murtagh. Assuming his opponent would take advantage of this, he tried to attack again as soon as he could, flaming blue sword darting out to the right as he shifted to the left, trying to stab Murtagh in the stomach.
Summary: Saphira fights back and Eragon is forced to pause by the fire.
FARRIA It had seemed a good idea to gain some real life experience by witnessing the battle firsthand. A huge moment in Alagaesia's history was to happen today. Farria wanted to be there, to witness history happening for herself. The scholars, Eragon, and Sheratan, the snow leopard to which she was mysteriously bonded as a Rider was to a dragon, all told her no. She thought otherwise. She wouldn't get involved in the fighting. She would only watch. She wanted to see it all happen. Such an incredible world-changing event was happening right next to the camp she had been told to stay in and she was not about to let the opportunity slip by.
The previous night she had snuck into Uru'baen. No one cared about her entering the city; a seven-year-old girl posed no threat. No one had even noticed her as she slipped through in the opposite direction to the evacuating citizens.
Now she was regretting her decision. The skies were filled with dragons, roaring, war cries, and the screams of the dying. It was overwhelming. The battle had not reached her yet in her place in the city, but she could hear it. Her plan had been to hide if it got too close for comfort. She was fairly certain it was because she was what the scholars had taken to calling a 'warg', but she had a talent for hiding in plain sight. She knew how the shadows and sounds worked, how to blend with the shadows and avoid making the sounds. It was partly how she had left the camp and entered the city. Sheratan was panicking somewhere, but she had blocked the mental connection to stop her doing anything rash.
The fighting was nearing her. She had no weapon. She had her... other form... but she hated using that. She had used it once, and was fairly sure she had killed someone. There was no forgiving that loss of control. No way she could return to being that thing again. Ever. It was not an option. It was speculated she could use magic since she seemed to have a connection with it with her shape-changing, mental speech and the hiding thing, but she did not know the Ancient Language and would not speak a word anyway. There was nothing she could do to protect herself against an army with dragons. Thorn was up there. Thorn and Murtagh, Rerukusu and Avendel, Galbatorix and Shruikan. The biggest names, the ones known by everyone to be the strongest, meanest people in the world. They were flying above her right now.
And she was terrified. She was beyond fed up with being scared, but there was no denying she was scared now. A movement caught her eye. A woman was running towards her. Her breath caught. She twitched, about to run away, then reminded herself that she was done with being scared. This would prove it! The others all thought her an annoying defenceless child to be babied and kept away from everything dangerous, but here and now she would show them all by making it through the biggest battle in Alagaesia's history.
With no weapon, no magic, not even words at her disposal, all she could do was stand up straight, bringing herself to her full height, cross her arms and stare the stranger defiantly in the eyes with her own intense bright green ones not giving away how scared she really was.
Summary: Farria regrets this decision and tries to look tough in case Farore isn't friendly.
(Spartan322) Sedine still hasn't returned, so it's Timmir's turn again.

((Well this is awkward. I was not expecting Farria to suddenly replace the girl I was planning on. Not that I'm really complaining about it for it's nice to RP with someone. It's just gonna take me some thinking on how I can still naturally do what I was planning on doing.)) Farore The Dragon Spirit moved through the cities streets as quickly as she could. Despite how much fighting and running she had to do today, she was still barely breaking a sweat. It was kindof surprising to her how easy it was to make her way around the enemy line. Though she guessed that not only knowing the city like the back of her hand, but also studying on where the empire soldiers were most likely to be positioned gave her the advantage. Plus the fact that most of the empire soldiers were currently occupied by the Varden didn't help them out any. As she ran past the battle, she could hear sounds of the battle slowly begin to die out. Not enough to make the city seem peaceful by any means, especially not with the riders fighting above, but it was enough for Farore to take notice. Yet, despite all this noise around her, she couldn't find another soul further in the city. Not that it should be all that surprising seeing how all the citizens should have hopefully taken cover by now. She hoped this meant that the child Trelik spoke of did too. Then as that thought went though her head, as if by some coincidence, she saw the child she was looking for in the distance. "Thank the stars above that your alright." Farore said as she ran towards Farria. Yet as she came to a stop in front of the girl, the Dragon Spirit couldn't help, but feel like the child was trying to intimidate her by the way she stood. Farore blinked for a second at the site before lowering herself to eye level with Farria and saying. "Look. Your parents are probably really worried about you right now so you need to get home right now. It's not safe out here, and you can easily get yourself seriously hurt, if not worse. Do you understand?"((Also, while this might not need to be said, I'm holding back my post for Morrow for now since I need to wait for Velathan's response. Trelik is also going to be held back for the time being until I find a use for him.))

Rerukusu (Reru) The sword stopped just short of hitting Avendel due to a ward. Reru had place many strong wards on her not willing to risk her life again. She roared at Konner and tried to snap at him while hitting Talon's wing with her tail. It wasn't meant to do any harm but keep him a bit distracted from making a full attack on her. She didn't want to wear down Reru by making the wards trigger, the fewer times the better.
Reru was fast and could easily out do a dragon due to size advantage alone as far as speed. He blasted Emiryal with ice before striking with his sword at the rider all the while avoiding the dragon's mouth.
summary: Avendel continues to attack Konner and his dragon. Reru fights Emiryal.
Emiryal Emiryal flinched as the ice blinded him and then the sword came at him this time finding it's mark. He glared at Reru and struck back to force Reru away before healing the injury. The blow had hit his non-dominant arm his right arm. Which in a way was helpful but still painful before he healed it.
Summary: Reru's attack hits and Emiryal heals himself.
Murtagh What damage the wards didn't take hit Thorn. He hardly reacted to the pain and just kept trying to keep her pinned. If she got airborne he would loose unless Murtagh could heal him. He roared at her half from pain when she bit his wing. He tried to keep it out of reach after that. With not much to loose he let himself drop so he could crush her with his body weight, and hopefully pin her legs down so she couldn't keep hurting him that way.
Murtagh was quick, as soon as he saw the opening he deflected Eragon's blow catching Brisignr on his own blade. Then he pushed forward while moving one leg to trip up Eragon. It was rather a dirty move to try tripping him but it didn't matter he was he just had to win. There was a desperation in his expression. If he didn't succeed at this the King would be mad at him and he and Thorn would face punishment. He had to win he didn't have a choice.
Summary: Thorn tries to keep Saphira pinned and minimize damage. Murtagh attacks Eragon and tries to trip him.

A small scowl lit across the otherwise nonchalant face of Galbatorix, The kingslayer. The Shade maker. The bane of the rider's. And the Eldunari Breaker. It had all come together perfectly for him, The varden was gathered right inside his own wonderful cities walls and fighting a losing battle against his troops. It was time to deliver the death stroke.
He marched over to Shurikan, footsteps ringing out against the stone flooring, Tugging his leather gauntlets on tight he tossed aside his cloak, it would only get in the way. He mounted shurikan's back and nudged the evil dragon forward, out of the gate and then into the air. Maneuvering him so as to fly high up above the battle he would brush aside anything in his path with fair ease, even those upon his own side.
Once he had a overview of the battle he magically enhanced his voice. "Varden Rebels! I will give you one last opertunity to surrender and slink back to your hole of a country that you call Surda, If you do not comply I shall kill every last one of you present! And then turn on Surda, Murdering every single man, woman and child I see! You have -one- minute to give me a answer."
At the sound of their king the Empire soldiers would stop attacking, only repeling any form of varden attacks. While he waited for a answer he sent out his mind, a massive opressing presence out and contacted all the empire riders, ordering them to flock to his side at once.

Clarissa was midway through advancing upon the enemies when her father flew from the citadel and joined them on the field of battle. He rarely left the comfort of the palace and so this meant the Varden had caused enough trouble for the king to bring him forth. As her father contacted all the Empire riders, Clarissa cast a look toward the Varden enemies and then jumped into the air. Her lithe form spiraled up and soon landed on the saddle of Vervada, her gradient blue dragon that should be a freshly hatched dragon. Vervada shot into the space where the mad king flew with determined malice and slowed to a stop. She was the second in line to this throne and therefore the rider flew closer to her father than most would ever dare.
Konner went to jump back from the assault sent by Avendel's jaws toward him but he was slightly too slow in his maneuver. A massive tooth ripped across his face and left a gash that wasn't deep but bled nonetheless. As he went to return an attack, Talon was hit and sent spiraling away. That was why the rider noticed Galbatorix fly forth and issue his command. We bow to no man, woman, or monster no matter how pretty their words may sound. Your reign of terror is over Galbatorix! Konner's voice was amplified by magic so that all on the field of battle could hear him and soon a chorus of agreements rose from below.
Kelocias had been flying with Istven and taking out any who dared attack them when her brother, Kuthian, contacted her. He said that Galbatorix was exiting with Shruikan and it was time for both of the children of Vrael to meet him in battle. So the woman swooped down on her large dragon and caught Kuthian up where he took a seat behind her. Istven flew up next to Talon and showed that ancient dragons still fought for the Varden in their mission for freedom.
Out of the wreckage of the city shot a dragon that was as big if not bigger than Istven, who had no rider. He was enraged and soon came near the two gathered Varden riders where he took up position. This was a battle for all who could fight and stand a chance. Arathale was the adopted son of Brom and he would hold that rank, even though it was only an alias, to a higher honor. The king had splayed many and one of the true sons of Brom had died so far today. No one else would die. I'm here to stand with the Varden and destroy the Empire. Arathale spoke to the riders on his side.
It was never his belief to fight in any war no matter how important but when Tashiel saw the large black dragon fly forth then he grabbed his sword. He sprinted from the reserves and shot into the air, making short glides at first, until the fallen angel stood below the Varden riders on the wall. He drew his sword and glared at the tyrant king with vengeful hatred burning in the pits of his eyes.

KING ORIK
Orik looked to the sky as the Black King and his Dragon flew out on to the battlefield. The traitor had the NERVE to demand they leave. Orik rose his booming voice, which was naturally loud, and did not need to be magically enhanced, and roared "You do not control us traitor! We shall fight to the last Dawrf, Elf, Urgal, Werecat, Man ,woman and child! FOR ALAGAESIA!" He raised Volund and cried a war cry, leading his subjects and fellow Varden back into battle, Volund claiming many lives before the Empire could retaliate. Summary: Orik rallies the varden and leads another attack
DAVID LIGHTNINGSWORD
David was able to bring his sword up to black The Empire fighter's attack, but was too slow to jump over her leg as she swept his feet out from under him. His life would have ended there, but that was when Galbatorix flew onto the battle field.. finally. David used the distraction to get back on his feet. He snorted at the Black Kings words, knowing none of them would follow his orders. Next came Someone else's magnified voice, then King Orik's natural loud voice. David raised his sword to the sky, and thinking it best for the Varden's moral, yelled "KVEYKVA!" Lightning arched down from the sky and struck his sword, he then swung it at a large group of empire soldiers, killing the lot of them instantly. "FOR THE VARDEN!" He then jumped back into battle with The empire warrior, stabbing at her stomach, knowing whatever contact he made would do damage, as his sword was still slightly electrified. Sure David was now low on energy, but he knew it was what the varden needed.. many witnessed him preform the feat in the battle for Farthen Dur, so to see even Lightningsword had not given up..should help in the very least. Summary: David blacks the attack, but has his legs swept out from under him. He then uses his lightningsword move to give the varden hope before going back into battle
