Hello, so I've been wondering, what kind of plantlife does the spine have. I wanted to wright something and I'm just not sure what kind of flora lives on the spine. I always kind of thought it was like the applachian mountains, and varied with the tempature a little. A bit of clarification would be welcomed. Thank you.

No one can really say for certain except CP, but I always imagined it to be similar to forests in mountainous areas of Eastern Europe, where they tend to have fairly hot summers but very cold winters with deep snow, since that seems to be similar to the kind of weather around that part of Alagaesia. So evergreens, pine and fir trees, coarse undergrowth, that sort of thing. There are mountains in Romania that spring to mind though I don't know what they're called. You can google them and it shouldn't be too hard to see the kind of thing I'm talking about.

I always associated them with the Appalacian Mountains so; pines, firs, any tree that can whether out cold temps, coarse grass, and random flowers. Although CP would be the only one to know for sure.
