((After the battle of Uru'baen))
In the town Bullridge, Sedine was watching for any actions against the new Queen. The empire loyalists were strikingly annoying and were not often much more then that. Ughh, why do I have to deal with loyalist insurgencies. Why couldn't someone who liked guard work do it. Sedine questioned every single second why he was picked, he hated to deal with guarding, being unable to see much action doing it. This place really got destroyed and yet we didn't really do much. Sedine was stilled upset that he had to deal with guarding but now he was wondering how much damage this area had suffered, how much the surrounding farmers lost. He was still stuck in this train of thought when he heard a large explosion go off outside the village.

Ryarion and Deloi had finished with Uru'baen and were now looking for left over survivors of the empire and or loyalists. The giant golden dragon had heard what his rider could not. Deloi flew off towards the sound and Ryarion instantly protested. "What are you doing!" Ryarion got worried when Deloi didn't answer. It was obvious the dragon was focused on something else. Ryarion took his golden blade and unsheathed it from it's scabbard that was across his back.
He raised it and yelled a word in the ancient language so that he could sense what was ahead with magic. He saw a fire raging and instantly drew the dragon into a dive. The dragon hit the ground with such a force that the ground shacked heavily upon his impact. STOP! Ryarion yelled in the ancient language as the man froze in his tracks. Though the magic that held him instantly dropped though the man fell to the ground when it did. His dragon was the size of a big house and it easily towered over the man so that his head was at the dragon's belly.
Before taking an action another man was running towards them. The mighty dragon roared at the man as Deloi didn't realize he was Varden. He thought he was racing towards as to help the other man.

Sedine continued running towards the downed man. He questioned what a rider was doing here but did not stop until he reached the downed runner. Oh great, am I going to lose all the action to the rider, seriously, if they're just going to have a rider patrol here then why send me. Sedine mumbled, not knowing who this rider that dropped from the sky. He saw the man on the ground. Did you really have to do my job, that was probably the only fun I could have had in this boring town. Sedine was unhappy because that was first time Sedine had chance to do anything when he got there and his job was just taking care of. Who are you anyway, I've only met one other rider and that was under way more interesting circustances. Sedine said as he binded the man up. Magic, just...uhhh as Sedine thought picking up the binded and confused man.

After listening to the man ramble on his facial expression instantly changed. You shall not disrespect me like that human. Ryarion said with annoyance. Ryarion considered his species higher then the humans. He had loved his home in Ellesmera but when the time has come for his egg to hatch he was thrust into a whole different world. Even though his teacher had taught him that all races were equal he didn't believe it. Take the man to the prison located in the town will you. I'll come with you because I need to enchant it so that he can't get out. Magicians are quite slippery especially the Imperial kind. Ryarion said like the lashing out at the man didn't ever happen.
Ryarion easily lost control of his temper and always forgot what had happened. Deloi stay out here... You'll break the gate if you try and go into the town. Ryarion said with amusement and Deloi growled at his laughing but agreed to stay. They exchanged once more in the ancient language then Ryarion set off with the man towards the prison. Putting his sword back in it's scabbard upon his back working his hands around his bow to put it in.

Sedine walked the binded up man to the jail on the other side of the town with Ryarion. What are you doing here anyway. Its not like the Varden had started needing Riders to secure the cities. Wouldn't it be better to send Riders in only dire circumstances. While Sedine was walking the man, he heard someone yell. He looked to his left and saw someone stealing some bag run into him. Sedine dropped to his legs on the ground while the man with the bag was running away. Sedine got up, shoved the binded man's shoulders at Ryarion and said Hold him, and let me get this guy, I have seen any action since I got here. He started running after the thief.

Ryarion didn't care to respond to the man. He was going to get the man into the jail and enchant it then leave. He had more important things to do. Ryarion was mad once the man ran off to get the thief but didn't protest. He continued walking towards the jail. Hoping that the man was good enough in combat that he could hold his own against a lowly thief and stop him. Finally when he saw the man running across the streets chasing him more he yelled at him. Need a-little help? Ryarion said obviously amused as they continued the chase.

Sedine chased the thief for some time before he decided to take out his bow. Sedine was a bit angered at Ryarion but knew better then to act. Eh, whatever, probably easier to just shoot him. Sedine took aim and hit the thief right in the back of his leg. The thief was now crawling and when he caught up to the thief he punch the thief twice in the face to knock him out. At least I saw some action today. He then proceeded to pickup the knocked out low-life and carried him to the jail nearby. When he reached the jail he saw Ryarion finishing the enchantment on the bars. So he shouldn't be escaping out those now. As Sedine said this, he threw the thief from his shoulder into the jail cell next to the one that Ryarion was enchanting.

Ryarion continued chanting in the ancient language until the bars glowed with a green ebb of energy. He looked at the man after finishing and saw him throw the thief into the cell beside the magician. I wouldn't do that. The energy emitting from these bars will kill that man unless you move him atleast 2 cells away from him. This man is a magician so he can resist it and if he doesn't he will pay his price for being so loyal to the Empire's cause. Ryarion said as he explained to the man. He backed up. Hoping that the mysterious man would do just what he said.

Uhh, seems like trying to explain magic is pain. Sounds just as annoying to deal with. as Sedine picked up the new prisoner. Why does magic have to exist, seems like it creates pain for those who don't know anything about it. As Sedine followed Ryarion's suggestion, he asked So, why are you even here, not like the Varden needs any Riders out in this part of Alagaesia. Seems like a pointless waste to send any Riders out here. Sedine was curious as to the Rider's true intent. Should I even bother to ask what that enchantment even did to those bars anyway. as Sedine stepped back leaned against the wall beside him.

Ryarion listened intently. I just placed a simple enchantment that will make anyone disintegrate really if they try to cast any sort of spell even if it's in there mind. It's simple really... Though it's only in the vicinity of the cell. Ryarion said as he nodded towards the man. The man growling in response. I didn't choose to come here human. My dragon did. He sensed trouble and even though I protested because I knew the Varden were capturing the cities they had missed since Galbatorix's rein has ended. Something drew him here and he has his own reasons. I may not know something but he, as a dragon usually knows more then me about our surroundings.

Hmm, well not much going on here, your dragon is probably wrong. This place is mostly farm land, nothing exciting. Galbatorix had little care for this area mostly because it was between two major cities which he must of thought no one would attack and I also assume that these farms were pointless to him. Either way, not much will happen here even if the empire was still holding it. I would rather say beside that little mage we have in those green bars, your dragon is probably paranoid. You think he's the only reason your dragon led you here. Tilting his head at the prisoner as he said that. Sedine knew this area well enough to know nothing ever happens in Bullridge. He had been there once before and knew how boring it was. There is no way anything interesting would happen here. Sedine then responded If this place had anything more then I would be happy to be here but knowing this place, it makes the situation way more boring then if I didn't know here. Sedine was still leaning on the wall when he heard something that made him twitch and then slip off the wall and hit the ground on his ass..

My dragon is never wrong. Ryarion said, obviously doubtful. Ryarion looked to the man when he fell to the ground. Not showing any sign of laughter though grunting heavily. He helped them man up then walked out of the prison towards his dragon waiting outside the gate Once he got there he looked to his dragon that was looking towards the horizon. So why did you bring us here?- I am not sure Ryarion. It is a mystical force that drove me. Though there was also the fire that was going on which is also another reason.

Drou'dern walked into the town. He saw the fire earlier but knew it would be pointless once he got there seeing a Rider would probably solve the issue. He didn't care much on the Riders and didn't care much for the power they wielded. As he got closer, he also noticed how the rider was an elf and being more or less unhappy with his kind, he rather ignored the entire situation. He now witnessed the rider trying to beginning to leave the town and cared very little until he saw a group of masked bandits holding swords running at the rider. He watched then mumbled Idiots, who is stupid enough to attack a rider and his dragon? They seemed to be rather large but Drou'dern had seen rider take down larger groups without dragons and noticing they're humans trying to attack just puts them lower on the ladder of morons for Drou'dern.

Ryarion heard movement to his right and looked. There was a group of bandits wearing masks and holding swords running at him. Ryarion yelled Deloi Moi! and the ground rose up blocking them off. Ryarion then said another spell in the ancient language which made the wall blow up. And it crumbled down onto the bandits. Deloi just then noticed what happened and grunted heavily. Obviously annoyed that such lowly bandits would try to attack his rider in the first place. Ryarion looked back to the guard he was talking to earlier. Help me with these bandits eh? Ryarion said as he moved to try and pick the rocks up. Not noticing a bandit's blade sitting there waiting to stab him.

Sedine
Sedine turned around as he heard Ryarion yell in the ancient language, not that he knew what he said. Sedine started running towards Ryarion when he realized Ryarion was being attacked. He pulled out his bow, knocked an arrow, and quickly shot it at the bandit about to stab Ryarion, hitting him before he hurt Ryarion. He kept his bow and continued running until he reached Ryarion. Never thought this village would be any fun. You have any idea what they want? It might be empire loyalists. Sedine tried to get a bandit so he could interrogate him before they recovered. When Sedine knocked out two bandits to interrogate, he asked Could your dragon kill the rest? I doubt we should bother with more then two prisoners to interrogate and I need to secure the town.
Drou'dern
Drou'dern watched as the bandits tried to attack the rider, he heard the rider call out some words of ancient language. Drou'dern watched as the bandits were scrambling to get around the wall formed of magic and then it blew up. He just watched as the bandits scrambled to get to their feet. These bandits are idiots, what do they even want. He thought about the bandits purpose when he saw a man appear and incapacitate two bandits before they could recover. Since when does any bandit come from Bullridge?
