Falling Behind

Well I meant to stay here, and I truly did, but there's just one issue with that. Or more of four issues. I can't concentrate on running the site day in and day out while Emiryal is gone, running two Facebook accounts, holding a job, doing regular life stuff, and writing my books at the same time. So I had to cut the things that I could. That means I just told all of my friends on my Facebook to go to my author account while I stay off of that one. As for here, I won't leave entirely. I do still have too much time devoted into the site and developing all of these small details. Instead I'm going on a period of limited activity. I'll check in a couple times every few days to stay current with the battle thread. Other than that and my occasional side post then I'm pretty much unavailable. Shoot me a message and I'll get to it when I can but my books are priority number one right now. Sorry everyone but it's necessary if I want to ever be a published author.

Oh and science fan Quetzal, I need some help with the gene splicing. I know enough to say that organs and skin tissue can be regrown but I'm shooting for different species being crossbred through gene splicing. So I need some help with figuring out all the details on that right there.

That's all right, books are hard work. I haven't been around much myself lately either! Good luck with your writing.

Theoretically that would be possible. It's already been done on small scales - there are goats that have been genetically engineered to produce spider silk in their milk, for example. You'd have to use embryos really, I don't see how it could be done with already living species. Don't have time to go into much detail now but in books you have the freedom stretch reality a bit anyway. PM me if you need anything specific!

Thanks Quetzal and Emiryal. Quetzal, I'll be sure to PM you if anything comes to mind that I have a question about. As of right now I have decided to write up small sections of the book in different areas of the plot and then have my co author tie it all together. I'll be back in a few weeks full time but for now I guess it's see y'all when I see ya.

So a few things. One, I'll be gone from now until after the first week in December. Holidays and all that. Second, when I return I apologize for anything I say. I'll be 21 and so drunk that I won't remember anything. Nearly two years have passed since my ex friendzoned me and still it hurts. Right now I'm seriously on the verge of Fb-ing her and begging for another chance. So I'm sorry in advance for my drunken stupor and all that comes with it. Happy Holidays!
