Hair: Mottled gray and cream (cream-color has a slightly orangish or goldish hue)

Hair: Dusky blond, almost old-lady gray

Magic User: Well, she's a werecat. Can shapeshift. Also appears to have some sort of control over spells that others cast. Hasn't revealed any other specific abilities.
Preferred Weapon(s): Xydra uses no weapons in her cat form, but will (on rare occasions) coat her claws with poison. She has been known to then lick said poison off her claws afterwards with no ill effects. In human form, she'll use two 6''-blade daggers (also sometimes poisoned) and/or a special pair of gloves Lily made for her which have sharp claw-like tips and serrated blades all over the back of them. Sometimes wears thin boots in the same style.
Appearance: Xydra is a small figure, even for werecats, and is capable of passing as an ordinary cat from a distance. Her cat form is shaggy and long-haired, also mottled gray and golden-cream in color. She has fairly long claws and is often seen perched somewhere, calmly licking them while giving someone an unnerving stare. Her eyes are green and gold, although in human form those colors are toned down to a green hazel, and her hair is grayish blond. As a human, she wears her hair chopped at her shoulders, longer in the front than in the back, which is not thick and usually reveals catlike (or, as some people see it, elfin, because they're simply pointed like an elf's) ears. Her face is angular and looks very old for a person of her size. She wears ragged black pants that only reach her knees and a gray-green tunic with a split skirt front and back.
Personality: Xydra is cocky and occasionally haughty, but she doesn't mean to be rude by it- this is evident because she acts the same way towards her friends. She's described herself as Lily's worse half, mostly because of how they view Kieran. Xydra hates him with a cold passion and would kill him if Lily didn't tell her not to. She's generally unsympathetic, but once she knows somebody she's at least careful not to do anything to make someone feel worse. She's extremely protective of Lily, claiming that Lily wouldn't defend herself if her life depended on it and saying that Lily would be dead without her. She's less distant than most other werecats but no less aloof and elitist. However, she views Lily as an equal who knows werecat customs and some (but most certainly NOT all) of their secrets.

History: Xydra is a relative of Grimrr, the werecat king, but as Grimrr has a number of relatives as close as she is that isn't very relevant. She grew up with other werecats and grew up traveling. Oftentimes she would see Lily, because her great-great-great-something-granparents had been the ones to save Lily's life. Since then Lily had been close to the werecat family and closest to Xydra's. When she was fifteen, she left all werecat communities and decided to fight with the Varden because she thought fighting would be interesting and fun. Quickly, she realized that while sneaking and backstabbing was fun, large battles were not and she was liable to get trampled underfoot in those. She only did her own sneak attacks for the remainder of the war and came very close to killing a shade once (at the last moment, the shade had moved and Xydra had missed her heart- killing her and escaping, but not a permanent kill) and was left with a small scar patch on one cheek that was burned and thus will not grow any fur (it's barely noticeable, though). She once spent a night sleeping in Nasuada's bedchamber to prove that she could, not as if she'd actually have assassinated her. Soon she will become Lily's traveling companion.
