Appearance: Arose is tall and wiry. He has shoulder length hair that is mostly strait but curls at the end. His bangs are two small pieces that make an arch over his eyes, which are slightly angled. His jaw is straight but angled down, ending in a slightly pointy chin. Arose's ears are obviously point on top, and the bottoms are connected. His arms and legs are lanky but with some shape. He wears a pale green tunic that's sleeves go to his elbows. Over that he wears white tabards with a black belt. His trousers are tan with brown timing on the cuffs, the cuffs that hid the buckles of his black boots. Over it all, he wears a dark brown leather jacket. The jacket is hooded and flairs out on the bottom and ends just above the knee. (139)
Personality: Arose is reserved with people he doesn't know, a speak when spoken to attitude. With people he has known for more than a few days, he is more out going, and seems happy most of the time, anyone who has known him for a great deal of time knows that it's still just a front, and can see sadness in his eyes. he is very stubborn, especially when it comes to his strong sense of what's wright. He generally gets along with other people, unless they disagree with him on morals. Because of how stubborn he his, it takes someone special to change his mind. (105)

Family: Arose has a younger sister, Selya. His dad is a politician, and his mom is a musician
History: born in Kirtan to Salis and Mera, with an older sister. Arose showed an affinity for combat, he found it easy to make friends who would fight with him, he wanted to be a warrior and join the varden like his big sister. when he turned 30 years old, his parents had another girl, Selya. a few years later, his sister died when ambushed by a large group of urgals. distraught, his parents decided to move, so Arose and his parents moved to the capital, Ellesmera. After the death of his sister, Arose became distant and reserved, except with Selya, and later on, people who reminded him of his sister.
His bad temperament greatly improved when he was recruited to the varden. After a few years and a few battles, it became his job to help keep the elven people updated on the Varden's campaign. after a while in combat situations, Arose became intensely protective of his little sister, and almost no one out side Du Weldenvarden even knew he had a little sister. He visits his family as often as he can, and always brings them momentums from his travels. He always brings his sister art supplies and makes sure to encourage her sculptures. like all elves, he highly regards dragons. (214)
