RULES & INFO
It is expected that all members and staff follow the site rules. If you have concerns or questions please contact staff.
Character Creation
○ All characters MUST have a written bio posted in the Create a Character board.
○ You must include: Name, Race, pronouns, age, appearance, personality. You are welcome to include more than that but those are the minimum.
○ You may start posting as soon as you have posted a bio. You do not need to wait for staff permission.
○ Characters must be realistic as far as the Alagaësia world is concerned. No crazy abilities or races that were not in the books. If you aren't sure ask. For a list of allowed races see Playable Races Info
○ There may be opportunities to gain more riders/dragons or eldundari. But to keep everything balanced these are limited.
○ ONLY Elves, Humans and Half-Elves can be Dragon Riders. They are the only ones bound by the magic that allows it.

Timeline and Setting
○ Our story line takes place just after Roran and the Carvahall villagers arrive in Surda with the Varden and before the burning plains battle. So the Ra'zac are still around and King Hrothga has not yet died.○ We are an Alternate Universe Roleplay so while some of the cannon characters are around we do not follow the full plot line.
○ Argetlam RPG is based on the Eragon Series by Christopher Paolini.
RULES
○ No spamming. This is disruptive and rude.
○ No advertising outside sites, only exception is your profile such as your signature.
○ Please keep in mind there may be minors on the site. We do not allow anything inappropriate, keep things PG-13.
○ Be kind to others. We do not tolerate any rudeness or harassing of other members. Fighting, being rude or attacking other members will get you banned.
○ No god-modding. In other words no invincible/all-powerful characters. This forum is to have fun not a place you aim to win and overpower everyone else. The game should remain fair for everyone.
○ No power-playing. ie control someone's character by determining the outcome and not letting them have a chance to respond. This would also include if you killed the other member's character. This is not allowed. The one exception is if both members involved agreed to it before hand are are okay with it.
○ PG-13 Relationships ONLY. Please keep all the relationships PG-13. Do not go posting something graphic and/or R rated. You will get banned.

○ In order to keep everything balanced, you may only have a up to 2 Dragon/Rider Characters max per person! (ie you can have 2 riders each with a dragon).
○ You are limited to 1 Eldundari.

○ Those who play cannon characters must post with them at least once a month. Or they will be taken back and reassigned to someone else. If you will be unable to post please let staff know and you will be given an extension so you don't loose your cannon character.
