I was wondering if I could update this char and make him an Empire rider?? His twin was just killed and I want to make him an empire rider. His file is already in accepted characters under Korinth

Besides a rider and shade put together would be way to strong.

Besides a rider and shade put together would be way to strong. That's basically what I was thinking. Plus, if we killed the shade (not kill, but damage like Murtagh did), you would disappear and your dragon would be left behind.

well , The shade used to have the power of a fully grown shade which he shared with his twin. ( when he used magic it drained them both similar to dragon and rider ). So now he's about the same strength as a rider being a shade. But the dragon would'nt affect him much because of the dark souls inside him trying to stop the bond .
So he would be only a little stronger than a rider. Having more experience in magic.

He'd be stronger as he'd have another power source to absorb from, being as a dragon can transfer some of his/her energy into it's rider. Not to mention you'd have a dragon, which is powerful as is. It'd be like giving Superman a bazooka. An already powerful being with a super weapon by his side.

HEhe giving superman a bazzoka ..ace. Er, but there is the point that Edoc'sil lost most of his power when his twin died with all the damage done. He'd be back to shade power with the dragon so it would'nt cause much difference whether he has his twin of the dragon...

Yeah. Both Edoc'sil and Jentari ( now deceased ) combined had the strenght of one shade being twins. When Jen died Edoc'sil lost all thatstrength and his magic was weakened greatly leaving him with the magic of like....ine od Du vrangr gata..but with the dragon he'd regain his energy and becomea little stronger than a rider jsut beacause of his knowlege of magic...

When Jen died Edoc'sil lost all thatstrength and his magic was weakened greatly Last I checked, this is untrue. The shard glinted wickedly in the light and the dark souls within Jentrai broke loose from her scattering across the rooftops and the souls flew into Edoc'sil. giving him his sisters energy and strength. "Giving him his sister's energy and strength." Seems after his sister died, her energy was transfered to him, or correct me if I am wrong

That was before I thought of him becoming a rider. I was going to edit it. but if the idea was put off I did'nt want him left completley weak if the rider thing is accepted yeah he'd be weak if not...he becomes a full shade please let him becoem a rider...there are no rules being broken

Then you would think it'd be smart to have said that before, wouldn't you?
Hm... there are 2 things that I try and look for in a rider before I wish to approve them (asides from an accurate and good char sheet). That would be their activity and their spelling and grammar. You seem to have the first one done fine, but the 2nd isn't all that great. Fix your last 2 RP posts and you have my approval, but wait for other staff's opinions.
Staffers: Does it sound good to you?
Edit: It's not the rules that's the problem, it's the power and other such that needs to come into consideration.
