Preferred Weapon(s):He has with him always two rapiers which he can cast spells through. They have a snake on the blade coiling around.

Personality: Magyus is a very dark elf from the normal elves you see. As a kid he was pushed to hard by his parents to learn magic. At the age of 80 he ran away from DuWeldenvarden and went to find help. He was corrupted by Galbitorix, and was taught by him. he was taught to hate the elves, and has killed man of his own kind. Now he serves galbatorix unconditionally, and is willing to die for his master.

Likes/Dislikes:He has learned to despise other elves, becasue he "sees" that they are flawed. He loves dragons, and hopes to one day be a rider, even if he ahs to kill a rider to gain that status.

Family: last that he heard of his moter and fater Magnus and Magneta Rayne were still alive living in illesmera.

Brief History:Magyus was raised in Illesmeria to use magic by his father Magnus Rayne. He was pushed so hard that he ran away from home. AS he lay in the desert dying he was found by some of galbatorix's men. They took him to galbatorix. There he finished his magic training and learned how to cast magic through his weapons and armor. now he serves in galbatorix's army, because galbatorix has a new apprentice now, Murtaugh. He is jealous yes, and plans on killing murtagh so he can once again be galbatorix's favored.

Uh.... okay, my main question is: If you're working for galbatorix, why has he not forced you to reveal where Du Weldenvarden is?

I was just wondering that myself. And it's highly unlikely that Galby would have you for a favorite, in fact, I don't think he would have any favorites, but that's just me.

I'm not really all that much of a fan of the whole "evil elf" thing. They wouldn't do that, they aren't stupid enough to be fooled by Galby.

Your history needs to be a bit longer, just so we can get more of a feel for your character. That is all.

I'm not an op but I'm totally opposed to seeing an elf change to Galbatorix side, that would put all of Du Weldenvarden cities in danger, as Galbatorix could force the knowledge of thier locations from thier heads, especially if the elf were 80 years old when they left the forest. Now if the elf had run away at a much much yiounger age, they wouldn't neccesarily know the locations of the cities, but that would stunt the elves knowledge of magic dramatically.

I can't see an elf spending his whole life in just that city being forced to learn magic every day... I mean not only that you speak as though you came to Galby before the series. So how does that fit the dialogue that says Arya was the first Elf eer captured. I mean that would void a lot of important things. Also hint hint a rider trained by Galby is a lot stronger than an elf for two reason. The first I will give hints. Big, breathes fire, fought your race in a war, has scales, wings, riders ride them.. The second is that Eragon was turned basically into an elf and Murtagh still beat him. Maybe it was because of Eragon's fatigue. Another note is that how can you channel magic threw opjects? I know in the book there are two ways, A) speak the ancient language. B) use the dangerous form that does what you are thinking.
