Full name: Queen Islanzadi Dröttning
Other names: Informaly known as Svit-Kona which is a title given to a woman of great wisdom.
Race:Elf.
Allegiance: The Elves and The Varden.
Birthplace: Illeria (now Uru'Baen).
Age: 1456 Years old.
Gender: Female.
Birthday: She was born on the First night of the Blood Oath Celebrations.
Eyes: Her eyes are a piercing blue, they seem to be looking straight to your soul which at times can feel quite uncomfortable.
Hair: Her hair reaches her middle back, it is the colour of obsidian and when she lets it flow it seems like water, she usually wears it up in a tight bun on which she wears a crown made of silver birch wood inlaid with gold and silver thread.
Weight: She is very slender and weighs around 110lbs.
Height: She stands tall at 6 foot 2.
Magic user: Yes, she is an accomplished magic user but very rarely will she use her magic to inflict pain or needless suffering, Instead she prefers to use it in healing and for the good of her people.
Clothing: She usually wears gowns made of the finest material, she wears fine silks and more recently she has started to wear the exqusite lace that has been coming from surda , her favourite colours are white as it symbolises pureness and also pale green as it symbolises calm and tranquility, she wears simple addornments usually a simple brooch or Clasp fashioned from silver and sometimes gold in the image of flowers or animals.
Preffered weapon: Her favoured weapon is a bow, it was sung from the branches of the menoa tree (she asked permission from the tree before doing this) it took her 6 months to get it to her liking and it is the finest example of elvish craftmanship in a long time it has been stained using natural dyes from plants to depict vines and flowers. She aslo has a dagger for close combat, It is of simple design but is still flawless its hilt has been created from an unknown material, It is as strong as any stone but it is wood , it was given to her as a gift from Evander on there wedding day it was passed down to him from Dellanir and she believes it came from Alalea when the elves came over the sea.
Personallity: she is a very good hostess and she can often be found in the grounds and gardens of tialdari hall entertaining guests , she can however be quick to anger especially if it involves her subjects or family, she puts honour and pride first and cannot abide being made a fool of by anyone no matter how important or influentual they are.
Likes and dislikes: even though she is a fantastic marksmen and quite good with a blade she does not like going into open warfare , she does not see the point of mindless killings, however if she feels the cause is just and it directly effects her or her people she will do it and do it well , she often goes down to the training fields in the dead of night to practice her skills , she knows that she is nowere near as advanced as a skilled rider or a shade but she can still hold her own in a fight , after Evander was killed she swore that she would not be killed by the hands of the empire. as like most of her kin she does love to sing and dance and listen to long epics read by her kinsfolk.
Family: Her royal herritage starts with King Ceranthor who led the elves in Du Fyrn Skulblaka ( The Dragon War ), He preceeded Queen Tarmunora who was Ruler at the time of the binding of the elves and humans, she was then followed by Queen Dellanir who watched over the binding of the dragons and humans, She then volenteered to abdicate in the favour of her son Evander who took islanzadi Dröttning as his queen , They had a daughter and named her Arya , Islanzadi was widowed when Evander was killed at Illeria when the elves last marched against Galbatorix , there ia another Dröttning within Ellesmera by the name of Niduen though it is Arya who is next in line for the throne , Islanzadi herself came from a noble household in Illeria her mother was a lady of Illeria and her father was a elvish diplomat she has no brothers or sisters.
Brief History: She has lived in Du Weldenvarden for most of her life but she was born in Illeria though she she left there when she was still young , after meeting Evander at a royal gala it was love at first sight and i mean love, they were married within 2 years and they lived within the Illerian palace for a short while until they were forced into hiding within the Guarding forest , when evander was killed she went into a state of mourning and would not see anyone outside of Tialdari hall , she eventually got over this and then found out that her daughter had gone missing while escorting saphiras egg , this hit her hard , now she knows that her daughter is fine she is determined to make the most off her remaining years
Anything Extra: she sometimes has the council of Maud the werecat but she is not her pet she does what she wants when she wants which is the way hat it should be. Another member of her council is a white Raven by the name of Blagden which belonged to Evander. Blagdens council is priceless if you can decipher the riddles
Role play example:Islanzadi looked out over the city and it frightened her, there was too much movement from everyone whether they were going backwards or fowards between the diffrent houses or whether there were families saying good bye to one another, the day had finally come that she had been dreading, she had been dreading it ever since she received the missive from the varden warning her off the coming dangers to Du WeldenVarden, she had sent the only reply that she could,
"We'll be ready" so that is exactly what was going on in the city and all the other cities within the leafy haven , the elves were preparing to march, what to they were not that sure as the missive had been scarce with the details but they new that this could be it .
Islanzadi felt guilty that it was her who was making these families leave there homes , there lives and there safety behind , it had to be done and she knew it but there was no other option, the elves were going to war
ooc Obviously this is just an example i am not planning to take the elves to war just yet , but i love the elves and especially Islanzadi Dröttning so would be honoured if you could give me the character ;D
