Preferred Weapon(s): She mostly uses a sword but can also use twin long-daggers and bow depending on the situation.
Personality: Genevieve is hard on the outside and soft on the inside. But most people never get close enough to see how she really is mostly because she doesn't trust herself in relationships of any kind. She is very attentive and inventive, though, paying close attention to everything and being able to draw things from those details as well as coming up with creative ways of doing things, though sometimes they are rather rash. When in a fight, she can get rather thingyy if she gets the upper hand and it is often her demise.
When you first meet Gen, she is a tough girl with only revenge on her mind. She is arrogant and prideful and hates to be wrong. She doesn't want to even give the possibility that she could be mistaken. She also likes to be alone, without any company because it helps her focus more. Besides that, she can be brutally honest and won't shy down from letting others know what she is really thinking.
But once you get to know Genevieve, it comes out that she is really just a hurt girl who is looking for acceptance and purpose in life. She does want to get close to anyone because she feels that she might end up really trusting and caring about them and if/when they turn away from her, she will have nothing left. She also doesn't like to show how she is feeling when emotion or sad. Talking about her past is something she never does and she backs out of conversations that involve family.

Brief History: Genevieve was born to a well of family living in Dras Leona. Her father was a jewler by trade and made items fit for a king. And so the more precious items were offered to Galbatorix which protected their family from any 'accidents'. Her mother was a dancer and musician, as her family had been gyspies of sorts. But ofcourse when her parents were married, Gabrielle left her gypsy family and danced less often.
Though she did teach Genevieve to dance and the girl loved it. But her father also taught her how to wield a sword and daggers; 'just in case' he said. She was sweet and innocent, though mostly naive. Her parents tried their best to shield her from any outside events. They had taught her to do as athourities ask and you will be better off. Though she knew of the Empire, she didn't know much else. But soon all that changed and her innocence would be snatched from her and be replaced with rage and vengance.
Genevieve was 11 when the Empire first started to give her family trouble. The war was getting more and more violent and business was slowing down. Most folks didn't have time for the nice things in life anymore, they were spending their gold on weapons for defence instead. But Galbatorix still demanded payment even though it was nearly impossible to please him even when they did meet their deadlines.
Then, when Gen turned 14, there had been 3 years of the nonsense and her parents knew that Galbatorix would soon come to get them merely to take his rage out on someone as well as add to his collection of stolen treasures. So they finally consented and took the shield from her eyes, telling her everything about the land abot her. Sure, she knew about the geography of Alagaësia and its history but nothing past the time when Morzan betrayed the land. They told her all about Galbatorix's reign and the new dragon riders.
Once they thought she was well enough prepared, they gave her their remaining gold and their only horse, a steed called Hutise, and sent her to the Spine, hoping that she would be able to fend for herself. The day after she left Galbatorix sent the Razac to her home, stole all their goods and murdered her parents. She had escaped just in time.
She spent her years stealing for food and finding small odd jobs where she could, but for the most part she was a rogue. She had loved her parents dearly but part of her hated them for deceiving her and lying to her about Alagaësia. She had trusted them too much. But for the past 6 years there was no time for grief, she had to make a life for herself and no one could help her.
Anything extra: She always wears a gold chain necklace with a ruby tear drop gem on it that her father made for her. She has also began to try and learn some of the Ancient Lanugage merely because it interests her.
