Brief History: Satine was born into a fairly well to do family in Uru’Baen. Despite her family’s wealth, Satine lived a lonely childhood without many friends. Throughout her life, she has never traveled far from her birthplace. Her mother became ill when she was 8 years old and passed away shortly after. Satine was then educated by a private tutor, named Cadis, for several years. After Satine and Cadis had a serious disagreement, he 'mysteriously' vanished.
Her father married her off to one of Galbatorix's most promising Lords, Micail. She became a part of Galbatorix's court through her husband, who 'mysteriously' died soon thereafter without an heir.
Satine despises Galbatorix because he has power that she wants. Therefore, her next goal is him. If she can win him over, she'll be the most powerful woman in the world... and not have to do all the messy work. Once he has served his purpose, she can do away with him. What's a third mysterious disappearance? (Though it will prove harder than she thinks to get rid of him of course.)
