It had been hours since she had spoken to the elders. How long would it take them to decide whether they could tell her where the Varden was or not? It seemed the elves weren't the only ones slow to take action in anything. But it seemed that by the time they finished their deliberation the war would be over. She was starting to wonder if they were as in need of riders as she and Sorius had been lead to believe in Du Weldenvarden.
"For once I'm not the impatient one." Sorius told her, making a chuckling-like noise from deep in his chest. "Calm yourself, little one. Wasting your energy won't make them decide faster."
Miluiel was fully aware that she had been pacing the length of Sorius since they had left the tent, but at the moment she didn't care. "Well it won't hurt either." she said outloud, something she did with him only when her patience was running short. It was enough to keep him quiet, but not enough to keep him from watching her pace. This was turning out to be a very long day.

Kaala grimaced at the rushing sound pressing against her ears as Mirror dove in for his landing. This time around he picked a small field a little outside of Aberon instead of landing in the capital itself. He knew was getting far too large to land anywhere he pleased. She waited until he folded his massive wings against his sides before hopping down from the saddle and beginning to remove the leather bindings.
"I have to speak with the elders. I'm not sure how long I'll be, but most likely it will take several hours." She told him, stroking his muzzle in that certain way that made him rumble.
"Do not let them keep you too long, Dear one. We have much to do." With that, Mirror butted her in the direction of the city, only her graceful movements saving her from sprawling on the ground. She grinned at him playfully before heading out.
Entering the city was a simple affair for her, the guards having seen Mirror land. Getting an audience with the Elders however, wasn't quite so simple. She checked her growl of annoyance and moved to the waiting chamber. She stopped in the large doorway, her eyes caught by the sight of a silver dragon. She blinked in confusion for a moment, sure she was looking at a younger version of her own dragon. It then registered that the person standing next to the creature was obviously it's rider, and it was obviously an elf...
"Esterni, Shur'tugal." ("Good Fortune, Rider.") She called, her voice echoing in the chamber.

Miluiel stopped pacing and turned in the direction of the soft footsteps she heard approaching. She hadn't heard such a light step since she had been in Du Weldenvarden and was only mildly surprised to see a fellow elf walk in. Sorius too turned his attention to the elf standing before them, wrapping his tail around in front of Miluiel. The action only hid her legs from the knees down, but it was enough to show that he was wary of the new person.
When the elf greeted her, Miluiel had to decide quickly how to respond. She didn't know what standing she held having never met her before nor being aware that other elves were in Aberon. After a second of hesitation she curled her hand to her chest and bowed in the formal elven greeting. "Atra esterní ono thelduin." ("May good fortune rule over you") she said, coming up from the bow to look at her again. Sorius merely let out a low rumble from his chest in greeting.

A pleased smile curled the corner of her mouth. This rider didn't know it, but she had easily upped her image in Kaala's eyes by simply showing respect to a stranger.
"Mor'ranr lífa unin hjarta onr." ("Peace live in your heart.") She gave the elf a slight bow as she said this, showing a little respect of her own. She locked eyes with the rider, sending a slight, but obviously warm mental probe to the other elf.
"It seems I've found a stray rider, Mirror. One you may be interested it." She projected, the small smile still in place. She caught the brief image of Mirror in the clearing, cracking on large eye.
"Indeed? What is it about this particular rider that you think I would be interested it?" He sent a curious thought across their link.
"See? You're interested already." She sent him a bit of a smirk. "Her dragon is silver." Narrow but amused eyes were sent across the bond.
"Indeed? Perhaps you could bring the younglings by me later this evening?"
"We shall see."

Miluiel gazed back at her, suddenly aware of the mental probe she was sending out. Sorius too noticed it and growled in response. "We don't know who she is! We can't trust her!" he told her through their own connection. She was caught in the middle. All her training told her not to trust this new person. Yet she herself didn't see her as a threat. "The least I can do is show her who we are." she though back after a few moments of hesitation. Sorius, now angry at her decision, blew smoke out of his nose. He had already decided on the new elf's fate if she over stepped her bounds by even a hairs width.
With a quick glare back at her dragon, Miluiel opened her mind to the probe, locking most of her mind tightly, only allowing her to see who the were and where they were from. Out of reflex her hands gripped the hilts of her Tonfa, and her mind prepared for a counter attack in case this woman was not as friendly as she appeared.

Kaala made a mental note of the smoke coming from the dragons mouth. It seems that the hatchling is rather short tempered. Kaala said, her small smile blooming into a full beam as the newly dubbed Miluiel opened a small window in her mind. Kaala easily entered, making sure to take things slow and to show the elf exactly what she was looking at. Once finished, instead of withdrawing Kaala opened a window of her own, offering the same information to Miluiel that had been offered to her.
"My own dragon would like very much to meet you, Sorius." Kaala said quietly, knowing the dragon would hear her clearly. She turned back to Miluiel "I mean no disrespect, I was simply overcome with curiousity about a dragon who looks so much like my own. I'm afraid that I may have rushed things just a little too much for your youngling's taste." After a moments pause she continued, directing her next phrase to the dragon in the Ancient Language. "I offer my sincerest apologies, youngling."

((OOC: Yea.... so when I made this I originally thought it was outside which is why Sorius could be there.... sooooo I made up some magic to make it work <.<o.o>.> sorry!))
A low growl emminated from Sorius' chest, shaking the floor. "Watch your tongue. It is you who is the youngling here." he responded, using the ancient language as well. Miluiel, now knowing who she was speaking to, bowed to Kaahla. "Please excuse his...attitude. He is a little short-tempered." she told her, glaring back at her dragon in a sort of non-verbal reprimand. Sorius would have to learn quickly to be a little kinder to other riders at the very least. But to make sure things were still even she did say, "Though I do agree, there seems to be a small misunderstanding."
From what she had gathered from looking into Kaahla's mind, she had only been connected to her dragon for 17 months. But before she could say anything, Sorius responded. "I have been bonded with Miluiel for 35 years, small one. I am your dragon's seinor and Miluiel is yours by 23 years. My size has been made smaller temporarily with magic so I do not have to leave Miluiel's side." His tone was less then respectful or kind. If anything it was angry and Miluiel again apologized for his behavior.
