Hair: Shalim has silvery white hair, that is usually left flowing down to her waist, and is kept in top silky smooth condition, and will reflect the light, causing it a sight to see, even to Varden warriors.

Height: Shalim is only 7, so she is about 3 feet plus.

Clothing: Shalim is usually dressed in a white dress, with blue ribbons tightening the dress up behind her, and around the rim of the long sleeve, an ocean blue colour.
Preferred Weapon(s): Shalim is a mere child, and so, she isn't given much weapons. But for her own safety, she is given a small dagger, with a silver hilt, and a small whip, which hangs around her waist, only about 2 feet plus long, suitable for a young girl like her
Personality: Being the child of the Varden, Shalim is fun-loving and carefree, like all children are. She is always out on the look for fun and games, and can always be found playing with her pet dove, Skyline. Her laughter is music to all the Varden's ears, and most rely on her to bring a smile to their face in times of danger.
Likes/Dislikes: Shalim loves spending time with her pet dove, Skyline, as well as wandering the Varden's battle camps, joking with the soldiers, and just having a normal chat. She will always be kept safe, for she is one of the youngest among all in the dwellings of the Varden
However, as all children are, Shalim hates being left alone, and the one feeling she dreads above all-being bored. If that particular time comes, she will run from her caretaker, and towards the Varden camp, to chat with the soldiers, or just watching them train is enough to cure her boredom
Family: Shalim was borne of Minnka, and Seria. But Minnka is currently sent to the borders of Varden camp at war, and Seria is back at Farthen Dur, for she was heavily pregnant with Shalim's younger brother, who was yet to be borne. Shalim had insisted on following her father to the Varden's new campsite, and her father had relented.
Brief History: Shalim was borne on the 20th Day of the Crescent Moon, in the deep heart of Farthen Dur, and was the pride and joy of both her parents. Soon 4 years after her birth, Eragon Shadeslayer entered Farthen Dur, and Shalim was brought up with the knowledge of the Riders. She witnessed the blessing of Elva, at that time, barely at the age of 5 turning to 6 and was quite shocked at the dragon mark left on Elva's brow.
Soon after, Eragon left Farthen Dur, and by Nasuada's order, her father, and after much tantrums and stubbornness, herself, followed the troops and all who could follow, to Surda. There, she witnessed the setting up of camps, Nasuada's orders, and the great battle. In short, she had witnessed all of the Varden's harshness and pain they had to endure, and from the sidelines, she can be said as to be one of the few who understands what the Varden had to endure each and ever passing day, and the point of Varden's goals.
