"You know we shouldn't be here. I doubt Galbatorix would take a Dragon Rider flying around without his permission lightly. The Varden has many enemies." Sonya warned Vedrit as he slid off her back. The 'here' Sonya was talking about was the village square of the raized and abandoned town of Yuzak. "I am well aware of the danger. If you know of a better place to rest, I am open for suggestions." Vedrit replied, inspecting one of the buildings. Yuzak made for a spectacular location simply because it was abandonded. Not a soul but the insects and weeds were there regularly. Bandits stopped coming when there was nothing but the hollowed buildngs and stones to take.
Sonya huffed and blew smoke "I still don't like it."

Those were always fun.
He licked his paw and pursued a fiendish mouse through the dark.

"Easy for you, you have a roof over your head to protect you from prying eyes. I have white scales that stick out in the night worse than you do among dwarves." Sonya retorted.
"If there were a cave near by, I would gladly go with you to it. Since there isnt, this will have to make do." he said, sitting down on his mat and turning his thoughts to his surroudings. All was calm, and insects went about their business. With the exception of a very irritated beetle, and a frightened mouse, pursued by a... Vedrit sighed. The presence that was causing the ruckous was one he had come into contact with not too long ago; the werecat Wikvaya
