Emily looked up into the night sky, the sun had already leaked away into nothing and the stars were shining brighter then they had in years. Void was hardly detectable, lying next to her in the courtyard of Galbatrox's castle. She had been ordered back on urgent business, and then learned that nothing more then a mere struggle on the borderlands had happened, and had ended shortly before she arrived. It was annoying to be sent for and have nothing happen, and Emily was now just blowing off her steam. She knew that Galbatrox would have a mission for her some time, but she wasn't sure when; the man had always been unpredictable with his dealings with her.
Void groaned lightly and opened his left eye, starring at Emily. She seemed a bit upset that her visit with her family was cut short, and wondered if he could help. He knew the best way to help would be to stay quiet and not upset her more, and so he closed his eyes again and let out a deep, calm sigh, hoping that Emily would start to calm down. The girl did, leaning against Void, he heard the soft sigh as she fell asleep.
