The massive dragon landed on the green hill with a loud thud. His arms were tense from the riding, and as a result, they bulged with blood. However, something was different about the man who mounted the gleaming red dragon. There was a sort of, aura that surrounded him. It was one of happiness, yet the confusion which was once there had been deserted. He sat there proud, sword sheathed. The most striking quality however, were the rider's bright blue eyes, which illuminated the night sky.
He quickly dismounted Xion, and looked around. A night breeze struck him in the face, causing the human close his close his arms as he waited for the arrival of the green one. He was very much excited to see her, for he knew she would be happy to hear of his news. Yet, there was still a bit of information he knew she'd disapprove of, and that was the fact that he was breaking away from the wretched empire to learn within the Elven society. He was always interested in becoming stronger, wiser. It was the motivating force which drove him through life, besides Xion, Zane, and Callen. However, his visions had been completely destroyed, and he now saw clarity once more.
He advanced over to the large saddle bags which held valuable content, such as his sword, his bow, and his ring. The ring was a beautifully crafted golden ring, with his name, as well as Zane's encrusted on the band. What was more fascinating, was the clean cut diamond crystal which rested upon the ring. The gem itself, had immense value, for it could hold magical power. He had made sure to fill the ring himself before properly offering it to the one he loved. He eyed the piece of a jewelry, now turning his gaze to Xion. The dragon shook his head as it hummed happily, aware of Ty's plans.
Ty closed the bags, and wrapped his right hand around the ring. He was still nervous, for if she could not, or would not leave the empire to escape with him, he wouldn't know exactly what to do. He loved this girl more then life, and to have her stripped away from him, would cause to be most daunting. However, he exhaled, his confidence rising as he heard a familiar flapping in the air. "I see, so she's here." Ty commented, a wide grin on his face.

Zane and Calen landed in Carvahall in with a loud resonating thud. The rider had caught sight of Ty and Xion from miles away, and heart fkuttered with happiness at the thought of seeing her lover once again. It seemed like it had been so long sense they had last been together in Dras-Leona. Since then the king had kept her busy, bute she had a feeling that she had now become one the King' s most trusted servant and advisor. In her mind all the running around was worth it in her mind. If the King found her so important, he would keep her in Uru' Bean were she could perhaps see Ty more often and not have to run around the continent searching for him. The thought of them finally being together in peace, brought her much joy.
I know you are excited to see Ty, Zane, but we musn't keep the King waiting you know that, Calen said to her as the pair headed toward Ty and Xion.
I know, Calen, but I can not help but go to Ty when he calls me, you know that, she said to her green dragon as she waved as Ty and Xion were close at hand, I'm sure it will not be all that long.
It will be long if you start all that lip-locking ritual, you both do.
Zane rolled her eyes at Calen's judgement of their kissing. He would feel differently if he had a mate. Soon they were face to face with Ty and Xion. Zane ran up to Ty and embraced him, kissing him for awhile before breaking apart and saying in his ear, "I missed you."

Ty's face broke out in a red flush as Zane caught him in her arms. He was swept back by her kiss, enjoying every second of it. As he broke away, she whispered that she had missed him in his ear. He shivered from the warmth that resonated from her breath. He took hold of her waist, and allowed himself to stare into her eyes. He didn't know if she would notice the change, but he didn't care about that right now. His face went expressionless as his smile disappeared, he had something to say and he wanted her to know that it was important.
"Zane, I'm leaving the empire." He said sorrowfully. However, he continued his stare, adding to his statement. "But, I want you to come with me. I plan on leaving in just a few hours to the Elven capital to study and become a stronger rider both physically and mentally."
He didn't know how she would respond, but he feared that it wouldn't be the desired response. She had thought of the king as a second father, and she was already soaring through the ranks, becoming even more cherished then Murtagh. He grabbed at her right hand with his left, and held it. He didn't want to bring up such a controversial topic before descending. And what type of man, leaves the woman he loves without informing her about his decisions? No, she was his other half, and she deserved to know everything on his mind, just as much as Xion did.
"You know I love you with all of my heart. I couldn't just leave without telling you. Please, just come with me. The white rider will be here soon to escort me. I don't want to leave you two behind..I love you both tremendously." He stated, his words stern, yet warm. The empire no longer had any control over him, except for Zane. He was okay with this though, for he would die for the woman.

Zane frowned as his smile disappeared into something of sorrow. She eyed him sad curiousity. She couldn't stand to see the man she loved upset, but she could tell that something was tearing at his heart. Something that had been bothering him. She assumed it had something to do with what Murtagh had done to him in Belatona. When Zane had revealed Murtagh's actions to the King was not pleased one bit, but the son of Morzan always seemed to get away with everything it was about time that he didn't. But Ty's eyes seemed brighter, healthier, if not completely cured. Now she was really curious what was bothering him.
"Zane, I'm leaving the empire."
The Green Rider's breath hitched in her throat in surprise, she even felt Calen's mind twitch with the news.
"But, I want you to come with me. I plan on leaving in just a few hours to the Elven capital to study and become a stronger rider both physically and mentally," he continued saying.
Zane couldn't find the words to speak, it was so hard to see where he was coming from. She felt betrayed, as if he had no regard for his own safety or her own. Dissent and disertion would not be tolerated and there was no way that there wouldn't be consquences.
"Why the sudden change of heart?" she said cooly.
She felt him grab her right hand and it took her awhile to realize that she was being touched she was so numb to the situation. Betrayal, was all that she could think about. The King had done so much for her, he had almost cured her, and allowed her to seek out her revenge. He had saved her from a life on the streets and from Durza slaughtering her. She owed the King so much, but yet she was so in love with Ty. Ty was the part of her soul that Calen couldn't completely fill. She couldn't leave him, but she knew that she couldn't follow him either. Zane ought back a cry of anguish at the decision that laid before her.
"Ty..." she said, her words choked in her throat, "this is so sudden...so wrong...I don't know if I..."
She couldn't finish the sentance, as she massaged her temples with her free hand. It was killing her slowly.
"Don't leave, Ty. Just stay here with me. Murtagh has been punished for what he did to you, The King saw to it personally," she smiled slighty, as if trying to reassure herself, "You were just bewitched by the white Rider. Elves are tricky like that. Just stay here with me, Ty."
Her smile faltered as she looked at him with sorrow. She wanted nothing more to be with him, but she could not leave. And she knew that deep down he knew that. Zane squeezed his hand as she let out a shaky breath. It was killing her.

Ty looked down as Zane attempted to persuade him. A faint smile crossed his lips, his gaze on her hand. He lowered himself to the ground, keeping himself lifted with his left knee. He held Zane's right hand gently, kissing it softly before un-clenching his right. In his hand, was what appeared to be a diamond ring. The band which the diamond rested upon, was made from pure gold. Engraved on the right side of the band, was Zane, and the left, Ty. The diamond met in the middle, almost representing his love for her. He looked up to her, slowly sliding the ring on her finger with ease. He kissed her hand once more, and lifted his gaze.
"Just because i'm leaving now, doesn't mean i'm leaving you. I'll always be in your life. Zane, I love you with all my heart. I figured that this would be your response however, so i purchased this ring for you to remember me while i'm away. The gem in the middle, is able to store energy inside of it. I've already filled it with my own, it's taken many nights. This ring, is symbolic for my love of you, and a promise that I will return to your kind loving arms." Stated Ty, his voice warm, kind, and sincere. After fitting the ring on Zane's right ring finger, he would clench her hand, kissing each of her knuckles.
He soon stood, releasing his grip on her hand. He neared the woman, and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close to himself. He nudged her cheek with his nose, enjoying the warmth of her skin. He soon pulled away, tilting his head to the side as he kissed her. The kiss was possibly one of their most passionate. The moonlight bathed the two, the kiss lasting several minutes, which seemed like ages. He found her warm breath sweet, and he knew he would miss these moments that he cared for so intensely. He reluctantly broke away, staring into her eyes. He didn't allow himself to shed a tear, because he knew it wasn't a goodbye, but his grin held certain sorrowful qualities. He kissed her cheek once more, and moved over to Calen.
"Calen, you've been a great friend. Please, take care of her. Don't let the king find out that we met tonight. As i speak, soldiers, shades, and possibly Raa'zac have been released after me. The king didn't take my leaving kindly, for a spy alerted him magically. Don't tell Zane I told you this, I don't want her to worry." commented Ty, as he stared deep into the magnificent eyes of the dragon. As he walked away, he hesitated, facing the mighty creature. "If I die Calen.." Ty paused, looking up to the many stars. "If I die, tell Zane that I will always be with her in spirit. I will watch over her for an eternity if i must. And If I die, that means that Xion's Eldunari will be waiting for you two to discover him. Don't keep him waiting now." Ty finished, his voice warming up towards the end of his statement. He neared Xion, and turned to the other two. "I love you..both so much. Sé onr sverdar sitja hvass! iet hjarta waise un ono." (May your swords stay sharp. My heart be with you.) He commented, the sounds of another dragon now approaching apparent.

Zane’s breath was taken away by the sight of such a glorious ring, her eyes drifted from Ty to the ring and then back again. She was so shocked that she could abrely find the words to speak...it was just so beautiful. Zane looked at Ty with watery green eyes, this ring meant so much, she knew it meant so much. As Ty spoke to her, she hung onto his every word, every breath, knowing that this meeting could very well be one of their last. Her heart nearly broke at the thought. She was in a dangerous position now, she was in love with a deserter, and if their relationship was ever found out...The King would have no mercy for her. A part of her could never understand why Ty would leave her in such a way but she respected his decision. As he placed soft kisses on her hand and began to rise, Zane finally found her voice, “Ty...I love you more than life itself,” she paused again as if her voice had yet again hidden away, “This ring is so lovely and I will always treasure it until I pass into the void.”She brought her hand close to her heart and closed her eyes taking a deep breath. As Ty embraced her, all the thoughts she had disappeared, and when they kissed, the passion and life of their lips touching would be all the life she would need to live. The kiss left her breathless, and when they broke apart tears slowly dropped down her face. Zane knew that her lover believed that they would meet again, but she knew how fleeting happiness and life was. She felt deep down in the pits of her heart that the next time they met it would be not as lovers, but as opponents. She could make herself believe that they would be able to make these choices without consequences but Zane was a realist. She saw the truth no matter how painful. She watched him having a secret conversation with Calen, but she dared not pry. Calen would tell her if something was important, she had no doubt. "I love you..both so much. Sé onr sverdar sitja hvass! iet hjarta waise un ono," Ty said. Zane lifted her head as she heard the sounds of the thud of dragon wings, she could only guess it was the white rider herself. The Green Rider clutched at her heart, she had no desire to watch him leave. She could not bare it. She looked at Calen who seemed to agree with her decision. “You have put me in such a painful situation, Ty,” she said softly looking down at her feet, “You must know that I love you, but I must do what I have to do. I would prefer from now one until after the War that we never cross paths again.”The tears streamed down her face, but she knew what had to be done. She kissed him one last time, a sad kiss filled with longing and desire. As they broke apart, she said nothing. She climbed onto Calen’s mighty shoulders, as they took off into the shy. As the ascended, tears streamed down Zane’s face, and not even Calen’s tries to calm her made them stop. She knew now the only option she had was to fight the Varden and destroy them so she and Ty could be together once more. Calen’s POV Calen found the Riders’ delima to be one of great sorrow. He could feel the pain it caused Zane and it made him dislike Ty a little less. Why would he put her through such hardship? The green dragon thought lover of his-partner-of-mind-and-soul would know what position this would put Zane in, but the dragon knew that Ty was not doing hsi actions with malice, just a thick skull. When the young rider adressed him personally, he listened closely, and responded, I will not tell her, but the King surely will. You ahve put us in a painful situation, you must understand that we may be forced to hunt you. Calen paused, his mind frowning at the thought of death. He did not want to see how the-green-eyes-one would react to the death of Ty. She would no doubt succomb back into the far reaches of her madness like she had when she first came under the King’s wing. Smoke poured from his nostrils as he growled at Ty, You will not die, understood? You have already made the one you love suffer enough. Don’t you dare try to make her suffer more. But If such an event comes to pass we will find Xion’s Eldunari swiftly. With that being said, Calen turned to his rider, who had made her decision. He agreed with her whole heartedly as she spoke. It was the right thing to say and do, and it would prevent anymore heart break. Good Bye, Ty and Xion, he said, before they took off into the sky. The sorrow of Zane overwhelmed his own mind, and she would not respond to his mental touching.

The wind felt so lovely through Aisling’s white hair, the way it licked her face, everything about it just made her so ecstatic. Flying was a simple joy she and Faeon shared. She ran her hands over his smooth white scales, she felt his muscles twitch under her hand. He always did that when she touched that one spot on his neck. She couldn’t help but laugh every time he got ticklish there. He had always been ticklish there since when he was a hatchling and now he was as this fully matured dragon who had saved her life, who was still twitching at a simple touch.
The Rider of Old’s demeanor quickly went in a downward spiral as she flew over the ruins of the human town of Carvahall. The smell of death and sorrow just filled her nostrils to the point where it was almost painfully. Elves have such strong senses that it was almost torturous when they were exposed to such extremes. She had know that many of the villagers of Carvahall had escaped, but that did not ease her concious. It was so shameful to see what the world had come too, and she had not been active enough to have noticed it. She felt guilt...extreme guilt, and she knew that Faeon did as well. Aisling just shook the thought out of her head, there was nothing she could change.
As Faeon’s taloned feet touched the ground, Aisling leaped down from her spot in the hollow of his neck, landing onto the padded ground softly, her white hair streaming behind her. Faeon lifted his head into the air, sniffing it.
Two riders are here. The one you healed and the one from the battle that we vanquished, Faeon said to her, stretching in the most cat-like way.
“Well, they are lovers,” she said to him resting against his shoulder, “He had to say his good byes.”
The White Dragon and Rider were only a few meters away from the romance of the Red and Green Rider. She did not approach, or move. She sensed a bit of sadness coming from the both of them. They were both in terrible positions now, positions that could lead them into each others deaths, but love had a tendency to conquer. Well...that was at least what she was told.
Do you think it wise to teach him? He could be dangerous. He did not hesitate to confront you, Faeon growled.
“Sometimes you just have to take risks, Faeon.”

Ty smiled faintly, for he knew the chance of his survival was slim. He shrugged it off however, being optimistic was the best option for him and Xion. The red dragon had remained silent throughout the whole conversation, he wasn't the type to offer his opinion. He only stood, and watched with curiosity.
"You two shall be reunited soon.." Xion grumbled as he shook his head side to side. He had to at least get the blood pumping for the soon expected travels that the White Rider and himself would face. Anyhow, he didn't want to rush Ty.
"I know, even so Xion. I have you with me, it won't be all that bad. My love runs just as deep for you, as it does her, remember that old friend." Ty commented, his gaze on the distant green spec which was Calen. "Hah, you don't have to tell me, your mind is mine, and mine is yours. Anyhow, I think it's time to get moving, I can sense the white rider near by. There's a chance she may be waiting for us." Snorted Xion, Ty agreeing.
The Red rider turned to his partner, jumping over into his saddle with extreme ease. "Alright Xi, Let's go!" He shouted, as he wrapped a leather cowl around his neck, ears, and head. The only thing visible was his eyes, for the rest of him was shrouded in a cloak. The dragon kicked off into the air with mighty power, the sound of his roar filling the forest. Ty was uncertain of the future, but he knew he had to forge his own path before he could truly allow himself to pick sides. He was weak compared to most, and he knew that would have to change.
As the two gained altitude, they would soon spot the white rider. They neared her, pausing as they waited for her to lead. "We're ready to go." Ty commented, his statement emotionless. He had to be strong, and if he had learned one thing, it was to keep his emotions in check.
