We sell food and supplies here. From veggies to fruit, from candy snacks to dragon treats, we have it all. Everything but meat that is. Check the butcher shop for that. We carry supplies like ropes, bags, and flasks. You ask, we'll give or send you off to another store if you're in the wrong building.

Velethelin was checking out a few of the items for sale when a nice silver flask caught his eye. he walked up to the owner of the stall and asked "how many coins would it cost me for that silver flask you have there?"

"Silver?" asked the sales clerk. "Quite the expensive item. Let me check the back room."
After a moment of rummaging, the sales clerk returned with something wrapped in a piece of cloth. He placed it on the table to reveal a medium sized, sliver flask with a dragon insignia on it. "It's the only thing we have, or at least the only one I can find as of right now. I believe... 50 pieces of gold will do nicely."

Trying to read the sales clerks face to see if the deal was a good one Vel said"Well, it is very nice, but i'm running short on funds and you seem to be honourable man, so what would you say to the offer of 45 gold pieces?"

"A haggler? Hm..." the clerk said, weighing the flask in hand. He held it out to the man after a moment. "Deal."

Relieved that the man accepted his offer, Vel payed the man and took the flask, turning over in his hand to examine the dragon insignia on it. He then thanked the man and left the market.

Sarai walked into the Farmer's market. She wrinkled her nose at the assortment of little moveable counters. After being raised by elves, and then a Duke, Sarai had no interest in anything normal. She usually stayed in the real shops, but she hadn't been able to find everything she needed. Her horse, Nawat, was tied up outside. The blacksmith was making her steel armor, and the butcher was getting her meat packaged for her. She wasn't sure how she was going to get it all back to her room in the tower, but she'd manage, either with or without magic. "I need two basic waterskins. Also, I need a strong bag to carry my food and supplies in." She decided, approaching a man at his tiny counter.

"Waterskins and a pack..." said the oversized shopkeeper. He stood from his cushioned and dented seat, towering over Sarai. Reaching his arms onto the top shelf, he grabbed a large, woven bag. He reached behind him and grabbed two hanging flasks from the hangers. The shopkeeper took the bag in each hand and pulled it. "This should do you fine. $70 for the whole thing."

Sarai inspected the items and frowned. "$50." She offered, her eyes narrowing at the man. She was running out of gold and needed to save it, for she still had quite a few things to buy. Probably she would have to keep her armor on hold.

The shopkeeper's eyes twitched. He hated bargining, but people tended to do it often. "$55 or get out," he told her, placing his large hands on the items.

Sarai narrowed her eyes only further. "Fine." She replied icily, throwing $55 down on the table. She grabbed her things and headed out of the shop, throwing the shopkeeper a cold glare over her shoulder.
As she exited, Sarai wondered feebly if she would be able to afford her armor. Perhaps she would have to resort to stealing. After all, Riders needed good armor. No, She thought. She, Sarai Balitang, Empire Rider, would not stoop to that level.
