Feanaro stood there motionless for a few momments hand out stretched towards the young dragon. He knew the dragon may be to young to understand his words but the ancient language is a language all living things understand. After a few comments the dragon began lapping at the wine then suddenly put its front claw on the cup to hold and feanaro began to chuckle at the turn of events "I never would have thought id be sharing wine with a dragon". Soon the small dragon had empty the goblet of its contents and sat back looking curiously at feanaro who was already summoning a pitcher of wine to his hand to refill his cup and take a good mouth full. Feanaro looked at the dragon with his head slightly cocked to the left a look of interest on his face when he felt the touch of another on his mental barrier it felt alien but also confused.
Knowing it must be the dragon feanaro lowered his mental defense and allowed the dragon to touch his mind.it sent him emotions of fear fealing lost and being scared it was missing its rider whom ever it is. Feanaro frowned slightly from the dealings that flooded his mind "you miss your rider don't you little one. But who is it " feanaro said to both him self and the dragon the fact that no one has came to clame this elegant and amazing creature has come as a shock to feanaro so he slowly began to scan the area for something anything. But after a few minutes feanaro came up with nothing till a thought occurred to him "if your rider has yet to show him or her self that could mean its no one in this feast but then again it could be one of the servants comeing in and out witch could explain why no one has come to get the dragon They are afraid that they have broken rules by touching the egg". Feanaro wanted to help the dragon in any way he could so he steps towards it and held out his arms hopeing it would hop up and join him in the search for the anonymous rider.

Rhaxta wandered back into the warm air of the feasting hall, her arms wrapped around herself against the chill of coming night. Already the sun was on it's descent, the air of the city still carried the sharp, bittersweet smell of coming night - it was of course a stronger pallour in the wilderness; where the stench of mankind was not so overpowering. It was still there though, more a subtle feeling than actual smell.
The smell of snuffed out as the doors opened and warm air rushed over her, making her hair ripple and her dress flair in unknown ways. Despite never wearing a dress in all her adult life, Rhaxta was growing somewhat fond of the forest green and light fabric - if only it wasn;t so...feminine. It seemed to look well on her as well, as she felt a few people watching her from a distance. Rhaxta usually knew what was going on around her- for her life- she extended the smallest (generally undetectable) tendrils of conciousness to keep an eye on her surroundings. This new interest in her confused her - she was used to things watching her for one reason alone - when they were trying to figure out if she was food or threat.
Rhaxta walked over to the table and grabbed a goblet of water and contemplated food as she drank. With the warmth returning to her extremities, so did her earlier hunger. Relying on her own hands to catch her food, Rhaxta ate like a wolf. When it was there- well - it wasn't there much longer.
She was eyeing up a plate of meats - unknown to her with their glazes, fruit jellies and stuffing - when there was a crash and the plate was toppled, and very shortly devoured.
Her lips hovered in an 'o' for a few moments, before an admiring and loving expression passed over her features and she released a small giggle. The golden baby dragon was beautiful, she gave a quick glance around for any man or woman with a pained and embarassed expression which might have indicated a rider.
((I will be adding more to this later sorry guys gottarungogogo!))

Sephora didn't grasp the meaning of Feanaro's words when he asked her who her rider was. Even if she had understood him it wouldn't have made a difference, she didn't know what a rider was or who her's was. Feanaro was more right than he probably knew. Her rider was afraid of having broken a rule and avoided her. Though she didn't know anything about her rider only that she had a strange compulsion to follow a particular individual. She didn't make the connection that he was her rider.
Sephora hesitated only a moment before jumping into Feanaro's arms. She kept her wings folded close to her sides. She had never used her wings before and generally kept them at her sides. She was too young to fly anyways. She inspected his hand once in his arms to see if there was any more wine.
She abandoned her hope for wine when she spotted Rhaxta. She had been one of those amused with her going after the platter of meat. She stared at her curiously for a moment. Of course no one showed any embarrassment for her behavior as her rider was both unknown and not present.

Will's hand twitched from not having an arrow in it. He didn't like the fact that guards surrounded them, even if a few tables were between him and them. His hand was reaching for his bow when he stopped himself. You don't have to do that. These guards will be nice to me. After all, a Rider and his dragon are with me. They wouldn't dare! he thought to himself. "Can you just... take a few steps back?" Will asked of the guards hesitantly. There was another reason why he was so nervous. He stole a pretty vase from the castle.

The guards stepped back until they reached the area where Nasuada sat. M'lady, we have the rider and dragon in the widow well. There are tables around them but we can still strike them down.
Zander looked at Will and then shook his head slightly, hoping that he made it obvious that there was to be no fighting today.

Will nodded in understanding. He looked at the guards and he paled when he saw that he recognized one. He was the one who had been guarding the vase! He quickly took an arrow and put it in his boot. Hopefully nobody had seen it. Will reached behind his back and made sure his bow was strung. He looked back at Zander. I'll do what I have to do, he told him in thought.

Zander clenched his fists and spit through his teeth, If you attack with that arrow, I will bust your bow over your own thick skull. Nasuada will not allow anyone to attack us. Now just allow us to remain calm and be careful. He clutched the air and moved the tables back to their own positions and then started to move toward the leader of the Varden as well as the elven Princess. Zander had to pass everyone else in the hall, including Amanes. His arm brushed against Amanes' shoulder lightly as he neared the head table.
--------------------------
Glaeran jumped up onto the tables and ran across three of them before jumping off and hovering in the air for a few seconds. He landed next to the guards and crouched down to allow Zander to step next to him. Lady Nasuada, I am glad to be able to meet you.

Amanes felt Zander's arm brush her shoulder and she turned her head and watches him walk up to the head of the table. She had formerly sat by another elf, but she had no idea where that elf had gone. And Silis was sitting away from everyone else, for she was very antisocial. Now Amanes felt strangely alone. Sure she could talk to Silis through her mind, but she didn't want to do that. The elf leaned back I'm her chair and sighed. Cicymyst and Adriac were still no where to be seen. With a small sigh she leaned back in her chair. The last time she had been alone was when she had first arrived to the Varden, and that was a tale she didn't wish to think about, but she did anyway.
Memories filled Amanes' mind, memories of her first hundred years of life. She had had six loyal friends, including Silis, that had stood by her side through everything, but that's what had gotten all of them but two killed. The elf thought of her friend back in Ellesmera and Silis. Then she began to think of her dead friends. Amanes bit her lip to hold back the tears. There was one that she hated to think about most and his name crossed her mind. She quickly shook her head to get the thoughts away before slouching in her chair, her eyes filled with saddness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Silis sat in a chair at the middle of the tables. She was far away from everyone she knew, everyone except Zio anyway. He had sat a few chairs away when the feast first started, but it was vey unlikely that he would talk to her. Who would want to talk to a grumpy werecat anyway?
Silis brushed her sleek black hair out of herface and sat proudly in her chair. Of course, she always acted a little too full of herself. That's what cats did. The humanoid reached for the glass cup in front of her and rapped her thin fingers around it. She tok a sip of water before gently setting it back down and continuing with her thoughts.
Nandon slowly walked into the feast his hands held within the small of his back as he walked inside the keep his eyes dilating slightly as he went from the dark of the street to the bright fun atmosphere inside. Nandon was wearing his finest tunic a dark blue almost black solor which was trimmed with gold a slight remembrance of his former wealth and status. He had come to the feast to meet someone to talk with nothing more though his heart told him otherwise he had ignored it Nandon was by now wary of falling in love to quick. He walked around studying those gathered with curiousity, Somehow he felt lonely... As if he didnt belong here and with that thought he sat down at a table with a sigh he sat down at a table still staring around.
Rhaxta's eyes widened and immediately began to water as the dragon hatchling focused unmistakably on her. For some reason, she thought she should meet this staring contest like you would with a wolf. She smiled and focused on radiating passive, calming mental waves out from herself. She was a friend, or at least friendly. She moved closer and found herself shoulder to shoulder with the gentleman that had been giving the dragon wine.
She eyed the man (Nandon) that had sat down a few tables away with a lonesome look about him. Rhaxta, soft as butter, raised a hand and waved. She mouthed across the room something along the lines of 'this is a good conversation starter if you want one.'
Rhaxta turned back to the dragon hatchling and smiled at the man that had given it some of his wine.
''I think this is the most pleasant suprise we've had all night,'' Rhaxta said to him as she gestured gently toward the hatchling. Unable to resist Rhaxta moved her head closer with a speculative eye. ''The skin is still soft and dewy looking - you haven't been long hatched have you, darlin'?'' she directed in a soft voice to the dragon itself.
~~
Nasuada had just returned to her seat at the table with the hope of things calming down from now, when a crashing of cutlery and goblets made her look up. Another dragon had landed before her sending the table askew. She smiled and a worn-out but truely happy laugh escaped from her. This was absolute chaos - buildings were not made for dragons. She had decided next party would be happening outside.
'And I you..you must be Glaedran. Nice to meet the brains of the outfit..''[/b] she suggested playfully. ''I would like to assure you; you, your rider and your companion will come to no harm under my care - as long as we have no more trouble or violence from anyone on your party. We are not your enemy - we of course appreciate all the help we can get right now.''[/b]Nasuada spoke but kept the smile on her face as a pang hit her heart as she thought about their probably-doomed mission.
Glaeran rumbled in agreement and then said I agree Lady Nasuada. There aught not be any more violence. It is a pleasure to meet you. Glaeran swelled as well because of the compliment. There was a commotion as another dragon entered the feast hall. It was considerably smaller and yet it was still a dragon. Surprises kept popping up all the time.
Zander looked around at the people who were there. Many of them were either looking at him and his group, or they were looking at another dragon that had just entered. Thank you m'lady.
Looks up just as he sees the woman ((Rhaxta)) Wave at him and mouth something he wasnt sure about thinking it a invitation to walk over he slowly stands up a wary look on his face and walks over to the woman "Yes?" Nandon asks as he sits down his eyes golden and glowing slightly he then gasps as he sees the dragon. then he looks over towards the ehad table as he heard a loud crash a signal of another dragon landing
A air of loneliness seems to soround nandon still though he smiles lightly at the young dragon "Well arent you gorgeous..." Nandon says looking at the dragon
[[Rhaxta OOC: sorry, smooshed your posts together as you double-posted. x] Also, we tend to stick to past tense in our posts. As in, he did, she talked, he said, she walked etc etc. Just makes it easier to read through if we all stick to the same one. ))
Silis looked around the table. It was lonely being the only werecat at the moment. Well, there were other werecats there, but they weren't apart of the Varden originally. Plus, they never talked to her. It was almost like she was an outcast for calling elves family. Sighing deeply, the humanoid sunk back into her chair. Sometimes she wondered why she had to be a werecat. Why not an elf, a dragon, or even a stupid dwarf. But not a human. No, she couldn't ever deal with being a filth, nonimmortal human.
Silis brushed her soft black bangs out of her face. She didn't feel like celebrating a battle that wasn't her win. Sure she helped fight in it, but it had only gained her two more enemies, Ash and Emiryal. They had gotten on her bad side, and the two of them would regret that. Everyone would.
Silis shook her head as if to get the bad thoughts away. The main reason she wanted revenge was so that she could lead a normal life. That was want the werecat wished for more then anything, to not hate so much. Yet, it seemed just about impossible. With another quiet sigh, Silis looked around.
Amanes looked around to see if she could spot any of her friends.
Sephora was impatient and suddenly wanted more wine. That stuff was good. After Rhaxta had looked at her she started to fidget in Fearno's arms. That was until Rhaxta came closer and spoke to her. She tilted her head, somewhat like a dog would when he heard a strange noise. She did not understand completely what the woman said, it would be a little while before she understood the concept of language. However, as if in response she unfurled one wing to stretch it before folding it against her side. She was newly hatched, only a few days old. Everything about her attested to the fact. Well everything except her missing Rider.
She watched as Nandon joined them. She seemed to understand he was praising her and held her held up higher trying to look regal.
~~~~~~~~~ Caspian came out from the kitchen with a tray of cakes and deserts. He set it down on a table and worked on clearing away the empty plates. "Can I get you anything?" he asked Silis, seeing the werecat sitting there alone. Until he had joined the Varden he had never interacted with any other species and he found Silis quite fascinating. Though he did not outwardly show it. He had a job to do...serve food. That wasn't that fun. And after he would have to help clean up.

Feanaro was almost shocked when the dragon jumped into his arms but his shock was erased by laughter as he watched the baby dragon look for more wine. "Ah so we found something you like little one" he said to him self. Feanaro was just about to get more wine for him self and the dragon begot setting off to find its owner when he found him side by side with a women he didn't even notice approach him. He watched as she motioned towards a fellow across the crowd before speaking to feanaro. "Yes it is a very pleasant surprise" feanaro said to the women wile he inspected what she said and found it to be true about the dragon "it seems your correct this dragon seems to have hatch quite recently". Feanaro then looked up at the women "I must apologize it seems our friend here has made me forget my manners my name is feanaro" he said with a slight grin on his face
Wile feanaro and his new friend were checking out the baby dragon the fellow that the women waved to arrived and he to began praising the dragon. "Its odd though "feanaro said to rhaxata and nandon "I've been standing here with this baby dragon and yet its rider has not came to collect or claim it."feanaro felt the familiar tug by his hand of the dragon searching his cup. Feanaro laughed lightly at this spotting a young man caspian setting and cleaning a table feanaro motioned for him to join them for a momment so as to request more wine.

Silis Korro
Silis looked up and spotted Caspian. Another human, just perfect. She was about to snap back an answer, but she stopped herself. She had just thought about being nicer to everyone, and trying not to be such an outcast within her kind. The humanoid relaxed slightly before smiling.
"No, I don't need anything. Thank you though," she said before smiling. Then she glanced around and realized for the first time that she was alone. Everyone had either left or gone the front of the table with the riders. She had been so caught up in thought that she had not noticed that she was the only person left at the table. The humanoid blinked her lime green eyes in confusion before looking back over at Caspian. That was when she spotted the plates that he had been carrying and him clearing off the table.
"Um, do you need help? I would be happy to help if you need it. It doesn't seem fair that you have to do the work." Silis spoke up. She then thought about standing up, but that brought another thought to her mind. Her leg. It wasn't terribly injured, for she could still walk, but Emiryal had broken it with magic. Stupid magic. Stupid rider. Stupid Enpire.

Caspian considered Sills offer. "Well help would be nice. I'm just low on the totem pole around here. There are a couple others around here serving and cleaning up too. So you don't have too, but I wouldn't mind an extra hand with these dishes," he said. It felt like he had stumbled over his words in a rush. He usually didn't talk to anyone around here, let alone a werecat. It seemed like the werecats kept to themselves mostly.
He saw Feanaro motion for him to come over. Caspian set down his stack of dishes. "I'll be back," he said to Sills and hurried over to Feanaro. He had been at this serving thing a while and was now rather used to it. What caught him off guard was the golden dragon in the elf's arms. What was she doing here! He tried not to pay any special attention to the dragon and just filled the elf's cup with more wine. He paused to see if anything more would be asked of him, before returning to Sills to collect the dirty dishes.
~~~~~
The golden dragon's attention seemed to be focused on the wine when Caspian poured more. She licked her lips anticipating the wine. But when Caspian walked away the wine was forgotten as she watched him leave. The intensity of her gaze excluded everyone else at the feast, she seemed rather obsessed with watching the young man.
Silis
Silis nodded and watched as Caspian walked away be fore thinking about his words. Low on the totem pope? She had never considered there being any type of ranking besides those who are riders, kings or queens, elves, urgals, and spys and those who weren't. She never really thought of werecats as if up on that list, but when she thought about she guessed they were at least in the middle of everything. She had not added normal humans on the list because there was more of them then anything, and they seemed odd at sometimes. She had never thought of the Varden as having people to serve food and clean up, but yet again she had not pondered on alot of things before.
Silis refocused on the world around her as Caspian came back over to the table. He seemed disturbed for some reason. She glanced over where he had been to see Feararo with the gold dragon. She blinked her lime green eyes in confusion at this. She knew for a fact that was not his dragon, but she had mo idea where it came from. She seemed to constantly spy on everyone, either Empire or Varden, and yet she had never heard anything about this golden dragon hatchling. She made a personal reminder to try to do some research that night before continuing on.
"Where should I put the dishes?" Silos asked as she stood up. Then sheslowly began gathering dishes that were left on the table. This was a new thing for her, because she had never really had to clean up before. When she found her adopted family she was fairly young and her adopted mother usually did that for her.
