If it was only up to them maybe they would make an okay couple... but their are many barriers and things to consider, within and without...

I doubt it. I dont see Arya caving into Eragon.

I've talked to this kid about the whole relationship thing for a while, and we both agree that it will probably happen, CP is just playing with us now.. all will be revealed in Empire though, so we just have to wait.

ah possible, although Nasuada does seem to dote on Eragon quite a bit. I hope to god it doesnt turn into some kind of love triangle or something...

I know, the whole Nasuada thing. Her being royalty and all, but so is Arya. I guess we will wait and see?

I would hate if it were Nasuada it will probably be Ayra since Nasuada won't be able to live as long as Eragon.

See, my way of thinking is.. Angela predicted that it would be an epic romance but didn't know if it would end in good or ill; basically that means that the love has no end if she can't see it, which means that the "lovers" are immortal (ie Eragon and Arya (an elf)).

well an argument that has been in several things is that, even though they may die, their love for each other shall be eternal...(tis a corny old thing) So the lovers need not be immortal, but only their love....

Yes, that's true, but Eragon and Arya are immortal, and so will never die of like old age or anything like that. So unless they are killed, then there will be no end to their love. It can be argued that love doesn't go farther than this life, and so I think we should look at the situation literally rather than figuratively.

life would be alot more boring if everyone took things literally and not figuratively no? Plus just because Angela couldn't see an ending, be it good or bad, doesnt mean it is eternal, would only mean that she isn't able to see far enough into the future...

Well.. there's no point in arguing about it now, we'll just have to wait till Empire comes out.

Pretty much no, sorry. I'm just way to tired to argue my ideas tonight, perhaps tomorrow though.

We should look at it literally, because CP thinks that there is nothing after death, he states that quite clearly in Eldest. I think Arya is likely, why would CP build it up so much then just forget about it?

I think Eragon should stay single cause all of that love stuff is pretty boring in books sometimes

yea, i mean, i never saw it in any of the books. although all we have to fear is fear itself, why not love while you can, rather than when you could have?? just a thought

Ragond must have eaten of the insane root for I see that no where in any of the books.... As Danny says, I hope Eragon doesn't stay some useless love-sick puppy and that he stays single. This love thing is annoying as hell and then t3h baddies always exploit it. Useless heroes having to love and care and all that jazz...

I think he speaks of when... uh... the gold dragon (I'm horrible with names) said that there's no such thing as spirits? Or souls? Or something along those lines... I think @.@ But that didn't make sense to me (if I'm thinking he said what he said) as Shades are posessed by a spirit and sorcerers use spirits.
