Aryanna smiled and nodded. "You've nothing to apologize for. It just surprised me is all." She blushed a little remembering the scene at the inn. She tightened her grip for a moment in a reassuring hug, "It wasn't awful you know..." She told him, smiling as she rested her head on his shoulder, blocking the wind from her face as they flew.

Smiling, Laetri asked Agaravel to wake them when they get to the Jiet River and as she acknowledged he found himself falling asleep on her back, "Sleep little one." she said softly.
((Imma wait til we all asleep to continue))

Aryanna smiled and yawned gently, She realized how tired she was after such a long day. She felt at peace and happy for the first time in a while. She started to slip into her waking dreams.

Waking up Laetri looked around until he found the River. Jumping down he looked at Aryanna sleeping gently on Agaravel. Smiling he stroked Aryanna's hair gently before whispering, "Wake up, it is morning."
When she woke up Laetri asked her to spar him and dulled their swords before he lunged at her right shoulder swiftly.

Aryanna pulled her sword up just in time to block his hit, then she flicked it away with her own, dancing gracefully backwards away from his sword.
"Is that all you've got?" She jested, smiling at him. Then she lunged for his left knee.

Grinning impishly Laetri easily twisted his sword in a clockwise way parrying her sword before stabbing at her right shoulder which was exposed.

Aryanna pulled back but the tip of her shoulder was nicked before she could back away completely.
"Ouch..." She mumbled, then she lunged to his left, faked, and stabbed at his open right waist.

Laetri simply allowed her sword to hit his waist causing a bruise before swinging Thringa and stopping it an inch from her neck and whispered, "Dead." his eyes fierce and his blond hair in a mess.

Aryanna stopped, stunned.
"You're the first opponent I've had that has beaten me... I've only sparred against my father, so I guess that's not much to go off of, but still... It's a weird feeling for me." Gracefully she stepped away from his sword and reverted her sword's edges to normal. She then sheathed Manin and swept her hair away from her face. She smiled at Laetri's disheveled look and stepped forward to smooth his crazy hair.
"There, that's better." She smiled and stepped away, blushing.

Laetri was surprised when she calmed his crazy hair when he was perfectly able to do so himself. Blushing Laetri realized she was the first person other than his mother to do so.. And No! She was dead.
Smiling he said, "Thank you, though you are great with a sword. Shall we go see to some food for now?" he quickly turned away and began walking to hide his reddening face.
Agaravel snorted with amusement to Laetri's feelings and told them, "I must go hunting. Good day to you Aryanna, good day to you little one."

"Good day." Aryanna nodded at her as she took off.
"So what is there to eat?" She asked Laetri's retreating form. She followed at a distance, not wanting to make him uncomfortable, but her hunger was getting the best of her.

Smiling Laetri said, "Whatever it is you wish," he walked over to a tree and jumped onto the tallest branch before asking, "Would you like pineapples?" He threw one down to her.
Agaravel was quite far away hunting down an elk. She sent an image of her gobbling it down to Laetri and said, "How are you little one?"

Aryanna caught it and smiled. Pineapple was one of her favorites.
"How did you know these were here? She asked, curious. He looked as if he had just randomly picked a tree and happened to find a pineapple in it.

Laughing gently Laetri said, "Me and Agaravel have been here many times...hiding from both the Varden and the Empire." He looked up and said, "Any minute now..." he didn't have time to finish when Agaravel landed in front of them.
Thinking about it Laetri said, "I believe that we shall go farther into the Empire. There is a Shade in the land and though we are not with the Varden, we are still Rider and dragon and know our duty. If you wish it, you may accompany us, however under one condition: If anything happens to one of us...you run and never look back."

Aryanna thought for a moment, considering the danger she would be stepping into...and then nodded, slowly. A smile spread across her face as she imagined smiting the shade. She knew they were a long way off and she probably would never even see or face the shade, but if there was a possibility that she could help she was willing to take it. She looked down and realized she was still holding the pineapple. She sat down and removed her pack, pulling out a small wooden board and her knife, then she set about slicing up the fruit.
"Would you like some?" She offered the rider and his dragon.

Smiling Laetri said, "I shall take that as a yes. I would thank you." he took the pineapple and began munching. Agaravel snorted and said, "I do not understand you. Why do you eat fruits and vegetables when you have meat?"
Laetri looked at Agaravel and kept a straight face for 10 seconds before breaking into laughter. He then said to Aryanna, "We shall go after our meal." smiling he sat down next to her and put an arm around her shoulder to assure her she wasn't alone. Even Agaravel wrapped them with her tail and covered them with her wings and the warmth from her belly upon them she said softly, "Rest knowing that no harm shall become you."

Aryanna felt blissfully at peace as she licked the sweet juice of the pineapple off of her finger. She smiled warmly, grateful to have stumbled upon such kindness. When she finished her share she looked to Laetri. "Shall we be off then?" She asked quietly, not wanting to disrupt the peace.

Grinning slyly Laetri said, "Let's," before helpin her up on Agaravel's saddle and they shot toward Helgrind.

Aryanna smiled and gripped him about his waist tightly. She was getting used to flying... but the take off was still iffy for her.
"Where are we headed?" She asked him , loosening her grip as the leveled out.
