"Mother.... I have to talk to you about something. It's been bothering me for quite some time now and I fear if I don't get it off my chest I will explode." Aryanna sat on her favorite branch of the old willow tree next to the stream where her mother was getting water. "Well my dear if you are going to explode then please feel free to leave your burdens on me so we can prevent that from happening." Her mother replied with a smile. Aryanna crossed her ankles and swung her legs back and forth as she pondered how to approach the topic. "Mother I- I want to go into town. Please... I want to see things, go places, learn things! You and father have done a mighty job readying me for the world... and I wish to go now and explore it! I-" She went to continue speaking but her mother shushed her. "Well if you must go, you must go. I won't stop you!" Aryanna smiled and leaped down from the branch, running to hug her mother. "I said I won't stop you...but that won't stop your father from trying to stop you..." Her mother pushed her gently back until they were an arm's length away. "Right... I'm sure I can convince him..." And with that she kissed her mother on the cheek and set off to the small garden outside their house to find her father. As she walked, Aryanna pondered whether she would miss her home outside the city... but pushed it from her mind as her father spotted her and waved. "Aryanna my love, come, come!" He called to her, setting down his gardening tools and dusting his hands off on his tunic. He pulled her into a tight hug and then released her. "Father.. I have something I wish to ask of you..." She told him, gently placing her hand on his cheek. "Yes My dear, what is it?" He held her hand there, a look of worry clouding his clear blue eyes. "No father, it's nothing bad. I just wished to ask If I could please go away on an adventure. Nothing big I promise... I just need to see other elves and people. I feel lost here father." She looked up into his bright eyes and saw the shine of tears welling up. "I knew... I knew this day would come.. I just.... wish you would stay here with us..." He let his head and hand drop and Aryanna rested her own hand on his shoulder. "I will return father.. I just wish to see the world before I am driven insane from the loneliness!" Her father nodded. "As long as you have your sword, your bow, and your heart is in the right place...you shall never fail." He kissed her forehead and then pointed to the door of their house. "Inside is my old pack, take it and fill it with food and supplies enough to keep you alive on your journey. Be sure to take a map if you need and always keep your weapons on you. Take also the dagger that my father gave to me when I left home. Hopefully you will not find use for it." He hugged her tightly as she smiled, ready to go. "Go now and ready yourself." She did as she was told, packing only the necessities and then heading out the door, towards the city of Silthrim. They lived so near that it would take only the day to get there and she would spend the night in the inn once she had arrived. With one last wave and smile, she turned her back on her childhood home and finally set out on an adventure.

((Sorry don't know if this thread is open or not but I guessed that you'd want someone to post))
Laetri was flying on Agaravel's back until they neared the Elven city Silthrim and Laetri said, "Land afar so that none will see you." Agaravel acknowledged and then Laetri ran to the city of Ssilthrim but on his way he bumped into a rather beautiful woman and the closeness flustured him. Her nice smell intoxicated his nose and he found himself staring at her in wonder before asking, "Who are you? Why are you here?" he told Agaravel what happened then protected his mind.

((Oops yeah. hahaha I meant to write open but I forgot:/ Awkwaard...)
"Oh. Uhm..." She stuttered, unsure of how to introduce herself. then she realized that she should probably start with her name.
"I'm Aryanna..." She stated in a quiet, musical voice. She pulled her long blond hair over her right shoulder and twisted it in her hand, staring at the man.
"I was just on my way to the city, but I seem to have misjudged the distance." She looked around and noticed that the city walls still seemed far off. She tucked the hair behind her ear and then tugged on the strap of her pack, adjusting it so it rested more comfortably on her shoulders. She stared at the man, taken aback by his height and his presence. Her father stood only a head above her, but the man before her towered over her.

Uncertain whether he should help the beautiful woman Laetri asked, "Can you keep a secret?" He then scooped her in his arms, she weighed nothing more than a feather to him after all his training and hard-work.
He ran to where Agaravel landed and gently laid the beautiful woman named Aryanna on Agaravel's saddle as to where he jumped up and looked at Agaravel's marvelous aqua-marine scales. She was magnificent! He turned around and said, "I am a Rider, my name is Laetri and this is my dragon Agaravel."
Agaravel then reached into Aryanna's mind and said, "Hello young one..it seems my Rider has taken a certain interest in you." her voice magical, musical, and soft. Laetri flushed at that and said, "We shall fly swifter to the city." Agaravel then heaved her massive wings and began to fly towards the city with ease.

Aryanna's breath was taken away by the swiftness of Laetri. She smiled when he placed her in the saddle, nervous at first because the wonderful dragon was so much larger than she. When Agaravel reached into her mind she was not surprised, her father had trained her to protect herself, but she allowed the great dragon to push past her walls to speak with her. She laughed softly, almost a giggle, and smiled wider.
"Thank you." She held onto Laetri tightly, not meaning to grab hold of him, but too scared to let go, as Agaravel suddenly took off, winging them away towards the city faster than her tired feet could carry her. Her long hair fanned out behind her, making it look as if she were being bathed in sunlight.

As he felt Aryanna tighten her grip on him Laetri relaxed, for he was afraid she wouldn't and would therefore end up with her plunging down to her death. He nimbly said, "No need to thank us, dear Aryanna."
Agaravel landed not too far from the city and as he helped Aryanna down he asked, "Family live here? I'm only staying for the inn." he said with an impish grin.

"Actually no... I've only just left my family behind. I'm headed to the inn as well, I had hoped to find my childhood home... if only to catch a glimpse of what life was like before we left." She laid her hand on Agaravel as thanks for the journey and then smiled at Laetri. She let her hand fall back to her side and stepped nimbly away from the towering form of Agaravel.
"Seeing as we are going the same way and I'm sure to get lost once more... would you mind if I accompanied you for a bit longer?" She asked him quietly, laughing slightly at her own stupidity at forgetting the map of the city and surrounding woods at home. She picked at a loose string on the edge of her tunic and looked up at Laetri.

William sat in the corner of the room, A single person table occupied his space, A hood drawn up to conceal his identity somewhat, Possibly to avoid a bit of detection? Ether way it failed miserably, Everyone in the tavern knew he was Sir William, A human knight from the Varden who had been sent to the forest as a diplomatic envoy.
Even so he found the looks he kept catching from people unnerving. Even the one child in the room looked at him funny, like he was a exotic animal in a zoo. The innkeeper walked up to him staring at him for a moment, he had been gently hoping the knight would leave. But avoiding him for to long would be downright rude, Which elves just didn't do.
“Sir William. Would you like anything to eat?” the elf said using one of Williams formal titles, every elf knew he hated it, This one must have just wanted to anger him yet still seem polite. He gently kept his calm knowing he better, If his sister found out he had ruined their families reputation with the elves she would murder him.
“No thank you Sir elf. Though I would appreciate you not calling me sir…” He said adding the last part quietly, though he knew the elf could hear him.
“Alright then Sir. William.” The elf said once again and William winced, This elf was really getting on his nerves, But there was also a practical side to his maintained calm, If it came to a fight, he would be seriously out numbered. And even a single elf could beat a human, William didn’t need about 10 to be trying…

Laetri looked at the beautiful woman and said, "Please do, by all means. However do not reveal my identity, nor the fact that Agaravel is outside the city." Agaravel hummed in the affirmative.
Running slower than as fast as he could, as to keep the woman close by him, Laetri ran to the city and walked into the inn. There was a shady creature who looked like a human. Laetri saw an elf and heard him say, "Sir William." Laetri immediately guessed that this was the diplomatic envoy from the Varden.
Laetri took a seat next to William and took out a bottle of Fealnirv he had enchanted himself, drank a mouthful and offered it to Aryanna. After she finished Laetri passed it to William and said with a hint of rage, "Do not bother with these people. They are stingy to your kind. My name is Laetri, how are you William?"

Aryanna gratefully accepted the drink as she sat, eyeing the stranger. She had promised Laetri she wouldn't reveal his identity so she decided to just keep her mouth closed for the time being. She let her mind wander a bit as the two conversed, taking in the warmly lit room filled with tired and grumpy looking elves. She could smell fresh bread baking in the kitchens and, though the wonderful Fealnirv revived her a bit, she was kind of hungry. She sat regally on the chair, glowing in the firelight, her cheeks rosie from the flight here. She swept her eyes between the two men, wondering at how she had ended up in this position. only just yesterday she was at home in her tree and wishing for an adventure, and here one drops in her lap.

Laetri decided Aryanna must be hungry and so called the innkeeper and ordered some soup along with bread and fruits. Looking at Aryanna, catching her staring at William he studied her with an openness that would have been offensive had she seen him.
Laetri kept staring but made sure that when she flicked her gaze back to him to act as normal as possible. Who was he to blame? Aryanna was beautiful. As soon as he got the food he began munching half-heartedly on an apple. He asked Aryanna between bites, "Please, dig in. I will see to the paying." He smiled at her knowing that had she been a human the spell he accidentally casted long ago making women attracted to him would've affected her.
Laetri was glad that his spell didn't affect her, it already affected Agaravel and she already loved him enough. Slumped Laetri continued to munch.

Happy to oblige, Aryanna dug in, taking small bites out of a seed cake. She smiled at him when he looked at her. When she swallowed she said, "Thank you, I do appreciate it." She took another bite and stared down at her lap, noticing that he was glaring at the stranger. She smiled a little at the attention and busied herself with her seed cake.

Laetri caught the eye of an assassin he had been stalked by for a long time. Thinking quickly Laetri realized that if he fled the assassin would kill Aryanna. As he realized what he would do Laetri blushed but whispered to Aryannna, "Make it look as if we're in a romance. There's an assassin here."
Laetri said, "Ah, how I love you dear." loud enough for the assassin to hear so that he wouldn't dare harm Aryanna before kissing her softly on the lips and quickly left the inn dropping her some money on the table to pay.
Laetri left blushing, his face as red as the inside of a melon-- if not redder. Sighing ever so slightly he crouched next to the door to the inn and when the assassin came out, he slit his neck and returned to Agaravel to wash off his bloody clothes in the stream.
Agaravel had waited long enough for her partner-of-mind-and-body and when he came back with bloody clothes he made a fright as if she was a mother hen clucking for her children. Asking Laetri she said, "Where is the one who did this to you? I shall cut off his feet and feed them to him." Laetri dismissed her with a memory.
Laetri returned to the inn and told Aryanna, "I apologize about before. It was necessary." he then sent her a memory of the assassin telling him and Agaravel who he really was and his purpose.

Aryanna sat stunned as Laetri stood and left the inn. She paid for the food as he walked out, still shocked into silence. Her cheeks burned as she sat stunned, unsure of what to do next. She watched as a dark looking man followed Laetri out of the inn and the red in her cheeks deepened.
She realized now that she actually had enjoyed that kiss and now her blush was in the realization that it probably meant nothing. She shook her head to rid herself of such thoughts as Laetri returned and apologized.
"No, it's fine. I'm sure you've taken care of it then?" She laughed and ducked her face to try and hide the blush. She pulled her hair over her shoulder and began to braid it.

William looked up as the elf sat down next to him, This he wasn’t used to. And then when the elf spoke to him he frowned. He shoke his head at the drink and then when the food arrived he let a look of distaste fall over his face. He wanted meat he realized, bacon, Sasuage, pork! ANYTHING! But no. These elves didn’t eat meat, and the whole time he was here he would be condemned to this diet of plants. William was lost in his thoughts so he didn’t hear the elf talking to him, or even him asking the other elf if she would pretend to be in a romance.
What did catch him by surprise was the kiss. From what he had learned about elves, they did not show public displays of affection such as this. The other elves in the room appeared shocked as well, Looking at the two with thinly veiled looks of disapproval, William then walked over to the counter paid his tab and walked out, Shaking his head lightly

Looking at the human Laetri decided to ask what he would do and so reached out with his mind and asked, "What say you human? Do you still believe we are cold, heartless beings after that scene?"
Agaravel was done waiting. Flapping her mighty wings she flew over to the inn where her partner-of-mind-and-body was in and roared her arrival before landing hard infront of it and Laetri sat there, looking at here stunned.
Laetri perked his head up when he heard Agaravel roaring. He then looked at her stunned through one of the windows and shook his head. She never listened! He had a quick decision, he could either abandon Aryanna to whatever other assassin came for her or take her with him without permission. Whispering ever so softly he asked her, "Would you come with me?". He enjoyed her company.

William stiffened as he heard the voice resonate in his mind, His thoughts flashed red with anger and he thought back at the being within his head, he knew it was the elf based on the voice.
“I never thought of you as cold hearted beasts, But you know what you have now done? You have made me consider your entire race as those who decide to invade other’s privacy? Where you not taught that it is very rude to invade someones mind and speak to them like this? If not you may wish to learn. NOW GET OUT OF MY HEAD!” William roared, turning back to the bar, and to the elves around him he let a disgusted look fall over his face, If this was how the rest of his trip would go, William defiantly did not want his sister around these elves….

"Aye, I would." And with that she smiled and awaited further instructions. Her mind raced, finally she was getting her wish! She was off on an adventure, even if she was yet unsure of what else was in store for her. Her eyes were bright as she imagined flying above the clouds over foreign lands and sleeping under the stars and the moon on a soft bed of grass. She even looked forward to what was probably going to be harsh terrain and rough paths and hard ground to lie on. She was just excited to leave.

Smiling at Aryanna's response he quickly scooped her in his arms and mounted Agaravel before yelling down, "Goodbye human. And watch your tongue next time with an elf!" Agaravel flapped her mighty wings, buffeting the inn. They were off.
Frowning Laetri thought of where to stay next. They could go to the Jiet River. Shrugging Laetri told Aryanna, "We are going to Jiet River, there is a hut there that contains the body of my mother and her dragon."

Aryanna nodded solemnly. She looked out over the clouds in awe. Her heart pounded as they flew over rivers, streams, and forests.
"Everything is so beautiful from up here." She clutched Laetri's waist gently, trying not to squeeze him to death as they soared above the clouds.
"Is it far?" She asked him, never havin actually been to the Jiet River.
