Torin saw Nola glance at her pack, she wanted it and she probably wanted a bandage out of it. Torin had used a bit of energy in the battle but could spare a little bit more to heal her. Torin knelt down to her, face to face, and whispered some words. The wound on Nola's arm dissapeared. Torin had healed it. After he was done, Torin staggered back. He was very tired. He got up and walked over to Nola's pack, and picked it up. Torin walked back over to Nola and gave it to her.
"This is a thank you for helping us in our battle."
Torin stood up and focused on the dwarves.
"For you, I do not know what to do. All I can do is Thank you verbally. Thank you. I hope that is enough."
Torin fell on the ground passed out. He was dead tired.

While Torin was asleep, the dwarfs who were not as tired set up a tent. Dwanir went out to find wood and Dondir started cooking some beef and vegetables. He also had some bread and cheese he set out. They all feasted then, swapping stories and forgetting all their differences.
Then when all was serious once again Dwanir stood up, though now he was just a bit taller than the men around him sitting, and started speaking. He said , "Now, that we are all rested and happy, we must touch upon the subject of the oncoming Urgal group. My brother and I both agree it is between 50 and 60 urgals marching to this exact place and they will be here soon. Probably within a few hours. I do not know what you choose, but I will say that we can vote to fight before they reach their destination. Considering they had already destroyed every little town and sacked every village on their way, and they are headed all the way south to get ship ride. This means mass devastation." He then grabbed his axe and rested on it like a cane. "It is up to us to choose, we can either stay and fight for some godly reason, or disband and go on our way that was disrupted this afternoon. Whoever wants to stay, say AYE!"

All could be seen in Nola's eyes were surprise. She placed her hand where the cut had been and blinked. They were all wizards but the dwarfs but Torin had helped her. She was not used to such kindness.
Nola stayed by Torin's side most of the time and stayed silent to almost everyone while they talked and ate. She had no intention to stay and fight Urgals unless she was going to get payed for it. Her plan was just to say Thank you and finish her trip. Her green piecing eyes stayed with the dwarf thinking on things she would never speak of.

Torin woke up as soon as the one dwarf started to talk. He sat straight up and noticed Nola sitting next to him. He was confused by it, but understand quickly that maybe it was because he had helped her. Torin heard what Dwanir had to say, and thought about it. Should they stay. Ardocc and Torin had to get to Illium soon, but also the Urgals were trying to get to Illium. Most Likely Torin and Ardocc, maybe even Zark, would have to kill them on Illium. Torin stood up and said the simpleist of words.
"Aye. I am going to Illium with Ardocc and Zark. I would have to encounter them anyway. We might as well do it here."
Torin looked at Zark and Ardocc for approval. He even glanced at Nola to see what she thought of the matter.

Ardocc who was right next to Dondir saw all this unfold. He then noticed Torin wake and say his plan. Ardocc saw the logic in all this. He even wondered if they were going to Illium for the same reason even?
"Aye, I also will do what it takes. And the added dwarf help will be more useful."
Then they all looked at the girl who was really quite close to Torin, who was more a mystery than anything else, who hadn't said anything really to see her course of action.

Nola paid little notice to their eyes on her. She played with her hair a bit and her green yes went to Torin then everyone else. Who knew she might get lucky and they might get payed a reward or find something valuable.
"Aye, I might as well help you lads. We all know you will need it."
She let a small yawn escape her throat. It was not like her to be so silent and quiet. If it was different circumstance she would had been talking among them, laughing with them, and maybe even some flirting.

Dondir was busy eating his stew but his brother knew that he would agree. So Dwandir said " Then I guess we all shall fight. And I wish you all luck. And anyone with the abilities should do a lookout every once in awhile to prevent urgals from sursprising us." Ignoring Nola's remark.
Then he sat down and ate some more. After he was done he went out and rumaged through the bodies of urgals, looking to see if there was anything he could loot. Because sometimes urgals have treasures they themselves stole.
Dondir on the other hand sat by a tree stump pulled out his whetstone and sharpened the blades on his axe.
I want it sharp enough to pierce any armor. He thought.
They both wern't terribly worried about the battle. They were seasoned in battle. But they never got arrogant like the humans always do.

((thingyy?))
Torin heard what Nola had to say and sighed. He was glad she agreed, but she didn't seem like she was going to at first. He couldn't help stare at her eyes, they were just so interesting. Torin set up his blanket and laid down next to the fire. He wanted to talk to Ardocc about their situation, but wasn't sure about the 2 dwarves and Nola. Though she was very interesting, Torin wasn't sure if he could trust her fully. Torin also wanted to know more about her. Torin quickly said G'Night to Ardocc, Zark and Nola. Torin wasn't sure where the Dwarves were, but thought they might be keeping guard. Torin fell asleep and dreamed of the battle this morning.

Zark stayed in his postition in the trees, hiding, listening to what they said till it came apparant that they were not of any immediate threat. He jumped down and landed lightly on the ground. His face was calm and, somewhat cold, Zark's voice shared the same expression. He felt a bit confused at how the battle unfolded but decided that it worked out in his favor. "Well met dwarves and Nala is it? I am the Zark. Magiciain extradinare." He bowed somewhat. While he bowed he thought to Ardocc and Torin, saying. Tell not that I am a sorcerer, such things make it terrible to gain trust. Then he turned to the girl. After they all said their good nights Zark stood awake, taking watch for the night. His feeligns about the knew members of this group was annoyance and frustration. This was going to be more difficult.... After a hour of staying up, he pulled out his mat and slept. He needed to rest for the battle, and he needed to summon many spirits if he was going to be able to be effective in battle. OOC: Torin, really stop telling me what my character will do. Its getting annoying. If I am unable to post then Zark is either sulking or hiding out else where. In this case he was hiding up till you said good night. P.S. You guys should come to realize that a big blow of green fire might take alot out of some people and yet he seems completely fine. Just letting you guys know. Then again if your characters know nothing of magic then roleplay that way.

Nola turn her gaze away from Torin uneasily, a part of her red hair obscuring her face. As Torin went to sleep her eyes went to Zark. It was almost to obvious he was the sorcerer or wizard who had done the green flames. It irritated her somewhat he got her name wrong and if it was a normal man she would have hit him across the head. Nola knew better then to hit a magic user.
She moved her bag and bed roll away from the others. She was a young women after all and being around unknown men was not very comforting. She made sure she was a safe distance in case of trouble but far enough away so she felt safe. With that she she went to sleep.

When Zark arrived Dwandir introduced himself and his brother to him. He felt sort of odd around him, but he had done nothing wrong and seemed powerful by his air.
As long as he is good fighter I don't care
They had been living on 'urgal timing' for the fast couple weeks so they always stayed up at night watching them travel and overhearing what they had to say. So they stayed up late in the night smoking their long pipes, which is typical of dwarfs, and talking.
They soon heard a distant rumble and shadowed figures in the moonlight. Dwandir went and woke up Torin and Zark. While Dondir who is generally seen nicer than the other, went and woke up Nola, then Ardocc.
They knew it was a little while yet before the urgals arrived but better safe then sorry.

Zark woke up with a start. His dreams never went away and it unnerved him. He looked at the dwarf who woke him up. Dwandir was his name wasn't it? He whispered to the dwarf, "Are there urgals about?" While he said this a shadow amoung shadows moved across the ground, heading to the other shadowed figures. Zark turned at where it went and drew his blade. It was a thin, long and light. It seemed that it would most likely break than draw blood. Zark turned to Dwandir

Torin was woke up gently by Dwandir. Zark was already awake, from the looks of it. Torin immediatley knew what was going on, the Urgals were nearby. Torin sat up and put on all his weapons. He walked over to Ardocc and Nola. Nola was the farthest away from everyone, but she was closest to Ardocc. Torin whispered to Ardocc to see if he was awake.
"You ready?"

Nola thanked Dondir for waking her and got her things ready as the others woke or prepared. She took her brush and started to comb the knots from her long wavy hair. Just because they were going into battle didn't mean she couldn't look good. She finished with her hair by putting it in a high ponytail.
She let out a small yawn and seemed at ease as if nothing was going to happen. Nola looked to Torin with a small amusement. So young yet going into battle. With Urgals nonetheless. Putting her things away and taking out her whip she could only give a faint grin. "Here we go again..."

Zark glanced at Nola, watching her comb her hair. It somewhat reminded him of his sister somehow but he knew not how. He looked away quickly, knowing that a battle was coming and now was not the time to be distracted with he past. Zark drew forth his sword and walked away from the group where he could summon his spirits alone. All he said was, "I am going to awnser nature's call. Won't be long." When he was sure he was by himself he chanted words as smoke began to swirl around him and spirits came forth. There were 18 spirits in total though they were not really strong. Six of them flew underneath his cloak, seven flew into the shadows on standby, and the five of them went into his boots, gloves, and his sword sheathe. Then he walked back into the camp and said, "Ready now."

Ardocc was woken up by Dondir. He was last and saw Torin was already up and Nola was brushing her hair. He missed his girlfriend and realized he had been lured off track from his plans. He decided to write a letter to her later and tell her he was trying dearly to get the money for her father to accept him as his daughter's husband, like most all fathers these days.
He found a small puddle with frost around the edges. He splashed the freezing water over his face and felt it run down and catch on his collar. He then put on his sword and strapped on the knife Torin had given him to his chest. He was going to make use of it this battle.
When he was all ready he went to be with the other's as they waited anxiously for the battle to commence. No one felt like eating except the dwarfs. Ardocc wondered if that was a habit of theirs.

Ardocc was ready, it seemed. Torin looked over to Nola, she had just finished brushing her hair. Torin swore to himself that he recognized her, but maybe it was just the morning hazyness. Torin went out a few meters to check out the Urgals. Torin counted about 50. This would be a hard battle, but at least he would be saving countless people. Torin went over to Nola to see how she was doing.

Zark glanced at them Torin and Nola together, then turned to the dwarves then to Ardocc. In order to stand against 50 urgals we need to use whatever assets we have... Then an idea came to Zark. He walked over to Ardocc and asked him in a serous, not cold or hard, somewhat even normal tone, "Do you trust me with your life in this fight? Do you think you can corporate with me till this is over?"

Ardocc stood in the cold morning with his sword out. Poking around in the grasses below his feet. There were a few ants running about killing each other. He took the tip of his blade and pushed them around a bit; they didn't need to fight, the real battle would start soon.
He then looked up and realized everyone was ready also. He shivered in the breeze, and looked up, half expecting some giant sword to come down and push the urgals away.
Maybe we are just ants in an even bigger spectrum.
Then he was shaken to his senses by Zark asking, "Do you trust me with your life in this fight? Do you think you can corporate with me till this is over?"
Wait, there is something entirely different with that. It took Ardocc a moment to figure it out, but suddenly realized it was because Zark had said it normally, not demeaning or with a different tone, just normal. Ardocc replied, " I think the real question is, Do you trust your life in my little skill?" He grinned and shook his hand.
"Yes."

Nola simply leaned on a tree relaxing herself until the Urgals made their appearance. The gentle breeze plays about her hair. She looked as Torin made his way over to her with her green eyes clearly interested in what he was going to say.
Just to think she could be in a town right now. In her green dress she so rarely got to wear dancing and partying in a inn or two. Instead she was going into battle with Urgals. Not to mention she could lose her life but the worst fact was she wasn't even getting payed. She blew a curve of hair from her face and just gave a small sigh her hand going to her whip.
