As he walked off Nola had to stick her tongue out at him. It was like her to act like a child at times but that didn't mean this young lady could not get serious " I already knew and heard you use the words...."
Already knowing her answer Nola could have ran right up to him and accepted but choose to try scrying after such a long period of time. She had only done it once and she almost died by doing it. "I'm stronger now...." She stated to herself calmly. At least I think I am...
Going to the pool of water and kneeling down she uttered the words. A short gasp escaped her as the energy escaped her so quickly. Blinking a bit before looking into the pool she viewed her old tribe Taking in what she say and giving a satisfied nod she crawled over to the tree the pool fading back to its original self. Giving a deep breath and closing her eyes she rested knowing she would not be able to make her way back to camp without it.

OOC: When did you become a moderator?!? Congrats!
Zark made his way to the camp and waited. Something he hated doing at times like this. He paced back and forth, anxouis for Nola to say either yes or no. After a while he decided to scry on her and see if she was headign back to the camp or otherwise. Looked around for something till he found a bowl, then filledit with water and then muttered the words. The small bowl revealed that she was up against a tree. Apparantly she had tried scrying or maybe some other magic word. I better do the right thign and carry her back. Zark only realized what he had just thought when he was halfway to where Nola was. Wait, I thought what? Damn, all this getting close to people is starting to get to me. The thought itself didn't seem to bad, however part of him resented the very idea. He had finally got to where she was slumped up agains the tree and attempted to carry her but decided that she would probally dislike him for such a thing so he summoned three spirits to carry her with a light touch. When he had gotten to camp and set up a sleeping mat he commanded the spirits to set her down on the mat then unsummoned them.

OCC: Thank you. ^_^ I think its only temp.
Soft snores, the odd grumble and sleepy mutter and a cough or groan now and then from a dream or fleeting thought. Nola was curled up on the mat snoring peacefully and looked all the world like she was carved from innocence.
Startling awake Nola noticed she was no longer leaning on the tree but on a sleeping mat. Nola head suddenly jumped with surprise from her sleep and startled anyone that was around her. Standing up she looked at around for anyone that could explain what had just haappened. She was still very tired but wanted answers.

Zark sat by Nola as she rested, waiting for her to wake and tell him if she had come to a conclusion. When she woke up startled he said simply, "I scryed on you to see if you were on your way to camp but you were asleep so I brough you back at camp. Now, if it is not too hasty... have you come to a decision?" He was anxouis but kept a neutral face, wondering if she needed more time or not.
Surbus stared at the two with purple eyes, wondering what would happed next. He hoped that Nola would stay. She was fun to play with and was a friend to him.

Nola hoped he hadn't carried her. That was the last thing she wanted. She wanted to be mad but found she couldnt. Giving a small sigh Nola gave her answer. "Im staying....I would be gald to have you as a teacher." That was harder to say then she would had thought.

Zark felt the urge to smile like she had smiled before but held back. He simply nodded, in a much better mood and said, "Excellent. We'll begin tomarrow. But till then, I must retire. I have used enough magic for one day. Good night." Then he turned and laid on his sleeping mat. As he began to drowse into slumber he thought about different techniques that he could teach her and excercises till he finally lulled himself to sleep.
Surbus was happy and began to prance around. After he had his little moment of celebration he snuggled next to Nola and said, Glad your staying. And don't worry. He didn't touch you. He summoned spirits to carry you instead. Then he snoozed, purring softly.

Torin had been watching the whole spectacle since Nola scryed. He was proud of Zark, at least that was the closest emotion he could think of. Torin had gotten out of the spring very quickly, and decided to go see how the "conversation" was going. He spied Nola scrying and saw collaspe. Torin almost went to get her himself, but wanting to see if Zark would do it himself, he waited, struggling with all his self-control. Zark eventually appeared, just as Torin predicted, and carried Nola to the camp. Torin was relieved. Zark was on his way to becoming a person, and teaching Nola would be a huge step. He came up to Nola and said the simplist of words.
"Hi Nola, how did it go?"
Torin himself didn't want to tell Nola that it was because of his influence that Zark had apologized, even if Zark meant the words. He didn't want to put Zark in a bad light. He glanced over to Zark and smiled, and then focused onto Nola again, still smiling.

Oh really? Thanks for telling me Surbus. Nola wasn't sure she knew how she felt about Surbus sleeping so close to her. Moving him was one thing she would not ask. It would just be rude. Also not wanting to show the fear that still lay hidden inside of her.
"Hi Nola, how did it go?"
Just great. I have a teacher who is cold one moment and the next so close to being nice its funny. Next, I wont be going to the captial but helping my worst enemy the Varden. Yep everything is going fine.
"Well, Its looks like Ill be staying with you lads."

Surbus stirred awake, partly from a nightmare that had just begun and partly from the conversation. His appetite to know what they were doing managed to pull him from his slumber. He kept purring but managed to peek out from his eyelids, observing of what they were doing. Even though he was awake, he coud still feel the nightmare progress. This wasn't the first time such a nightmare appeared. Course, he never had his own. He only had Zark's dreams, whether for better or worse.
Zark was begining to turn in his sleep, the nightmare he was experiancing with his family, his master, and the red glowing eyes. This time it was different though, he could see another thing in it, though he couldn't place it. It was small glimmer of light....

"Well that's Great. You would make one hell of a companion. But I do have one question for you."
Torin looked around and found a nice stone to sit on. He sat down and stared intently on Nola. He hesitated for a second.
"When I was explaining our mission earlier, I couldn't help but notice when I was talking about helping the Varden, you had a certain look in your eyes. You obviously don't like the idea of helping the Varden. So Nola, whose side are you on?"
Torin kept staring at Nola and waited for the answer.

Why did Torin have to be so curious? Nola knew she could lie her butt off but they would have to find it out sooner or later. What was she going to say? This might be her only chance on revenge. That she was only helping because they were somehow her new friends?
"Lets just say the Varden are no where on my friend list. I see this as helping you guys not them."
That was all Torin was going to get out of her today. Nola eyes went to Zark as he twisted and turned. Moving slowly not to wake Surbus, since she did not know he was awake. She went to his side and checked on him. "Looks like our friend his having one nice dream.."She said with a small frown.

When she said that Surbus said to them in a sad tone, It isn't good at all, espicially when your linked with him. His head rose and looked right at each of htem in the eyes. Even now I can see some of the things he sees. Like his sister turning away while crying, his father giving him the cold shoulder. His old master laughing at him. And the red eyes. Almost every night its the same. Infact, it gets worse. More unseen hands scratch him, more red eyes glare at him, and they laugh at him. Worst part is, we can do nothing in the dream. Then he laid back down, and said, All he can do is hold it in. Surbus didn't mention the light though, for he knew not what it was, nor where it came from. It made little sense in such a dream.

".....I see this as helping you guys not them"
Torin glanced over to Zark. His eyes kept twitching. Torin knew that was the sign of a dream. And the dream that haunted you, the dream that never went away. Torin had those dreams every night. They were about the day Thorvin died. The day his father died. Torin looked back at Nola.
"Well that's great! We could use the help, I mean me and Ardocc are pretty skilled in fighting and he is a great navigator. I steal stuff fast and efficiently, and Zark. Well Zark is just Zark."
Torin smiled. Zark annoyed him with his "I am better then you" ways, but Torin knew he wasn't a bad guy. He just wanted to help someone close to him. Atleast that's what Torin thought.
"And I didn't mean to pry into your life, and I am probably one of the only people who can understand how you just felt. It was just, when we get confronted by the Empire, because we will, whose side will you be on. I can safly say, you will atleast help us. That is good."

As Surbus spoke to her, which she had still thought very freaky, her face fell. Nola was worried for Zark. Is there anyway to help him? She asked Surbus. Her green eyes went back to Torin and gave a small smile in return to his.
" I am good with animals and survival skills. At least thats what I am best at. No worries, I always know who my true friends are."
Nola knew right away what she would do if confronted with the Empire. It was not a hard choice to her. Her only hope was she didn't hurt anyone too bad.

Surbus simply gave a mental shrug when a thought hit him. He began to see that in this dream there was a difference. The glimmer of light which only now appeared. And now he felt how he knew how. Prehaps you should spend more time with him. Being away from family and having no friends tends to keep you cold. Maybe friends keep you warm. Spend alot of time with him and maybe the dreams will go away. Surbus said this to Nola evenly, though his inner thoughts were racing at the pontential of this. If it didn't work it would atleast be an amusing attempt. Now both of you, head to bed. The sooner you wake up the sooner you can learn magic Nola. And the sooner you wake up Torin the sooner you get to accomplish your goal yes?

Thats just what Nola always wanted. To spend more time with Zark. That would make her days here just great. Ok Ok...Im going to bed.
"Im off to bed Torin....Good Night."
With that Nola took her bed roll once again a bit away from the men and layed it down. She made her self comfortable and closed her eyes quickly falling to sleep after all the days events.

Zark awoke from his dream, his body drenched with sweat and fear. The dream was over though, he sighed in relief. Then he got up and made himself some breakfast. He would need much of his strength if he was to teach Nola anything about magic. His meal consisted of eggs, berries, and some salted jerky.

Nola said goodnight, and she went to bed. Torin followed her actions, he too was tired. He didn't sleep well that night. That day kept replaying in his mind. It was horrible. Throughout the entire night, it must have played at least 40 times. Torin woke up shaking, sweating, and crying. Zark was eating some breakfast. Torin didn't notice for other 5 minutes, but he too looked like he didn't have a good night's rest. Torin got up and wiped off the tears and sweat off of his face. He fed Roland some oats and get some dried chicken and a pickle out of his saddle. Today or Tomorrow they would move for Illium, so Torin waited patiently, as he ate his food, for the others to wake up.
OOC: so this thread should end soon. We need to get to Illium

OCC:I think it should close now and move on a few days .
Nola gave a small grunt as she woke from she sleep. Similar to the boys she did not have a very nice sleep. Her sleep did not often have dreams or nightmares but last night was a rare event. From what she could tell it looked like no one had really slept well.
"Ill have to change the mood.."speaking to herself more so to anyone.
Once again she went into her bag to find her brush and some food of her own. Since for good reason not eating much the day before.

Zark looked up from his food when Torin woke up and said, "Good morning. By the looks of it you didn't sleep well. That makes two of us." He spoke somewhat coldly, thinking about what nightmare Torin had confronted last night. "So we head for Illium? How long do you think it will take?" When Nola woke up he gave her a small smile and said, "Morning. Hope you got a good nights rest. Today we start training."
Surbus began to wake up as Nola awoke. He looked around, groggy eyed, then made a long drawn out yawn. After a few seconds of just lying down he felt a gnawing hunger, so he got up and vanished into the underbrush. After 10 seconds he returned with three mice. Two in his tentacles, one in his jaw.
OOC: I concure
