Vavrin merely shrugged. "I dont know what now." And it was true, she didnt know what would come next. Breakfast made the most sense, and then there would be time to figure out what to do after that.
She tucked her legs under her as Yang collapsed by her side."I could carry you. Or, perhaps I might return the favour and give you a massage." she said, looking down upon him as he lay there.

Yang laughed slightly and rolled off the bed, landing on all fours. He stood up and then rubbed his shoulders. I'll live... he said, yawning and stretching some more. His back cracked and popped and he gave a satisfied grunt. But perhaps you can try making me a new shirt. I doubt I'd find anything of interest in here.
And make it quick, Yin said, hitting the legs of the bed with his staff. The sooner we ransack whatever is left of this town, the better.
And what then? I suppose we can get the dragon to deliver the goods to the king, though I doubt Nihael will wish to seperate from the group any time soon.

Vavrin hopped off the bed and stretched her limbs. "Yeah, I suppose. I could do with a change of scenery anyway. Narda is suddenly boring." The floor felt cool on the soles of her feet, and she walked over to gather her leggings off the end of the bed and other personal effects.
"Am I only good for making clothes? Why dont you ask Nihael to do it, he is rather adept at magic, too." she said under her breath, casting a glance at Yang over her shoulder. Nevertheless, she got to work on creating a new shirt before she would head downstairs for a morning snack. Such a task wouldnt even take more than a minute, and she decided she could spare it.

I'm sure you're good for quite a few things, Yang said as he grabbed one of the poles on the four poster bed. And I cannot imagine what kind of clothes Nihael would whip up for me... probably something frilly.
Yin gave a slight laugh and smashed the staff against the bed, cracking a large chunk. I feel better already.... he said, smiling and turning towards the door. Who's up for some breakfast? Or are you two too tired from yesterday's... adventure?
Yang shrugged as he collected some of his items in the room, as well as some of the woman's items. A couple of gold and he was ready to leave the room, hopefully to never return. I'm ready to raid. It is why we came here, after all.

"Frilly can be sexy." she said with a smirk as she turned to face Yang, brand fresh tunic in hand. "But in this case, I sparred you. Hope you dont mind a bit of a lower neckline," she teased. She handed it over and began to tug on her own leggings, left leg first. Once she had finished, she gave a stretch and said, "Haha, tired? Not in the least. Let's just grab something quick on the way out." She pulled on her boots and began to head downstairs.
There in the kitchen she saw Nihael, grabbing himself some breakfast. She flashed her pointed grin at him as she reached over to get a bit of bread and cheese for herself. "G'morning," she said to him, grabbing a half-filled bottle and taking her breakfast in hand, deciding to sit on the bench that ran along the wall of the tavern.

"The three of you look well rested. I take it the sounds last night was just the house settling." Returning to the food in his hand, he tore a strip of meat away with his teeth and began to chew with a bored expression on his face. "Are we finally going to loot this place today so that we can get out of here?" Taking a swig of wine, he looked to Vavrin. "What is it we were here to get anyway? Must have been important for the Emperor to send a Shade with license to drag along anyone she wanted to."

Once she finished her light breakfast, Vavrin took one last sip of wine from the bottle and got up, setting it back on the counter. Leaning against the counter, she focused her gaze upon the Rider. "Have you forgotten already? The main goal was to stop the shipments of goods and weaponry to the Varden. We are free to take anything we choose, but more importantly the shipments need to be re-routed and sent to the Empire, on Lord Galbatorix's command."
She furrowed her brow and tapped her fingers on the stone counter idly. Her gaze never left Nihael's. "Believe me, I want out of here just as fast and as badly as you do. There is nothing for me here." In fact, she was eager to leave. She longed to be outside again, and to travel in the elements. Vavrin was growing more frustrated than ever.

I call the blacksmitch, Yin said, walking down the stairs, laughing slightly. Yang, now fully dressed, took Vavrin's wine from the counterand took a gulp from it.
Several shipments come from here or to here through ships, Yang said, putting the bottle back down. We have a few decisions... pay them off, kill them and bring the ship to the Empire ourselves, or send orders to Galbatorix to send soldiers down to take care of the ships themselves.
The biggest problem that prevented soliders from doing it themselves were the Narda soldiers, Yin said, taking a slice of bread and chowing down on it. Our last choice is to kill all the ship captains that come here and abandon them here until the Empire can pick them up. We can snatch our own boat to get outta here and back to the Empire.
That is... the twins said, looking at Nihael and Vavrin. Unless you two have any other ideas.

Vavrin heaved a sigh as the twins made their way downstairs. Nothing worth doing was easy. "No," she said, tapping her fingers agitatedly. "paying them off is foolish. I'd rather Galbatorix's soldiers take care of the shipments. If we kill off the captains first, it'll make things go faster for the soldiers when they arrive. I'm sure Galbatorix's men are capable enough to handle shipments themselves."
Vavrin wasn't too sure about getting back to Empire by boat. She figured it would be faster than walking, because stopping to sleep and then moving again took up hours that could be spent covering ground. Whereas on a boat, you could still be making progress as you sleep. She rubbed her forehead with her fingertips as the twins gazed at her and the Rider. Time was wasting. "I have no other ideas. What do you think, Nihael?"

"Sounds good to me. We can stop at Teirm to get some soldiers to pick up the ships and obtain any goods we may need. But don't get too excited about the prospect of not walking. You would still have to walk and ride a bit if you want to get to Uru'Baen, which I'm guessing you will want to. The furthest a boat could go to is Dras-Leona. The rest is on foot." Taking a swig of wine, he flashed his teeth in a passable impression of a smile. "Sorry to burst your happy little bubble."

Vavrin nodded and turned to the twins. "He's right, you know. We cant expect a boat to take us everywhere. However, we've plenty of time to figure out what happens next after we reach Teirm." Moving away from the stone counter, she grabbed her belt and sword from off the wooden table and strapped it around her waist. "As for right now, I guess we'll want to take care of those ship captains." she said, rolling her eyes as if it were another impossibly dull obstical in the way.
Vavrin slipped away into the back room, taking a pitcher of water with her. She took a shallow dish from under the cupboard and poured it full of water. Dipping her hands into the water, she splashed her face a couple of times. Vavrin could see a few dead bodies lying in the grass through the tiny window as she finished up, rinsing her hands a last time.

Clearly we meant as far as it could take us, genius... Yin and Yang spoke. Yang began to straighten his things, making sure his sword was on tight and his belt was not loose. Yin began swinging his staff side to side in his hands as he looked at what food was left. Unless you two can make the boat fly or strap the thing to your dragon, I believe the idea was clear that we would not drive the boat on or over land.
Yang collected the daggers, what little he had left that he managed to recollect from the battle, off the table and tucked it into their proper places on his belt. He let one run across this fingers, cutting only the first layer of skin. Already it began to heal as he smiled and placed it back into his belt. Let's get going then.
Breaking bones and cutting people to ribbons... Yin said, slamming his staff against the winery door, shattering it to pieces; the winery was a mess, filled with empty bottles, spilt wine, and popped corks. What we of the Empire do best.

Vavrin re-emerged from the back room, wiping the water from her brow with the back of her hand. Throwing the twins a look, she said, "If you two are done being sarcastic, I'd like to get this done with. Now let's move, shall we." Vavrin grumbled under her breath as she made her way past them.
Pushing open the tavern door, Vavrin walked a short ways into the street until she could see the port clearly. There on the water rested two small ships, packed up and ready to leave at any time. She figured the captains of both ships were still tucked away inside, like sitting ducks waiting to be killed. "So. Two ships. Simple enough. Let's split up here. Yin and Yang, take the ship on the left. Nihael and I will take care of the one on the right. We'll meet right on this spot when all has been dealt with, understood?"

"Hopefully none of the fools onboard decide to try any heroics after we take out the captains. As a matter of fact, I think I know exactly how we can solve that problem, should it present itself."
Should I come along?
This one requires a bit more stealth at first, just wait out of site, nearby until I give you the word.
Nihael stripped of his armour and dove off the docks, near the rear of the ship and started swimming towards where the Captain's Quarters were most likely located. Pulling out a pair of knives, he stabbed them into the wood and began to climb his way up towards the lone windows. Using magic, he extracted the windows and quickly hopped into the cabin, he quickly scanned the room to make sure it was safe and waited for Vavrin to come up.

Slipping quietly into the water, Vavrin swam out and scaled the side of the ship as Nihael had done. Once inside of the ship, she quickly used magic to dry her dripping clothes. She looked around the dimly lit room and then over at Nihael. "This is certainly a welcome change, I can't remember the last time I was on a ship." she said. It was completely foreign from the Varden tents or shanty homes that were commonplace.
Vavrin walked around the room, then stopped to listen for any sounds of the crew onboard. All that could be heard were murmerings of men somewhere in idle conversation. She grinned slyly. The idea that the men had no idea they were prey excited her. It was one thing to slaughter men and soldiers who were in plain sight. It was something else entirely when they were totally oblivious that thier lives would end in a matter of seconds. "Doesn't sound too far off. They are near."

Better not mess your clothes up, brother... Yin said when he reached the edge of the city. He quickly stripped down to his pants and looked at Yang. Vavrin might kill you if she has to make another shirt.
Yang smiled slightly and shook his head as he began to strip down as well. He slowly stepped into the water and shivered slightly. I don't much enjoy the water... he said, even though Yin already knew. His eyes closed, he drove into the water. He concentrated on the sound of the waves hitting the boat, and quickly swam towards it.
Yin's travel to the boat was easier, as his sight was keen, even underwater. He swam quickly, arriving at the boat before Yang even though he left after his brother. Yin grabbed the anchor and waited for Yang. Yang arrived on the other side of the boat soon after. Are you ready brother?
Yes. Can you hold on long enough? Yang asked, grabbing the side of the boat and ripping a slight hole with his bare hands.
It should be simple enough... Yin replied. Yang quickly climbed the side of the ship, entering a window and into the bottom of the ship. He looked around quickly and walked along the walls and into the hallways, looking for the way to lift the anchor.

"We probably try and keep the element of surprise for as long as possible. Preferably try and take the Captain out before the crud hits the fan."
"Ready?"
Nihael pressed his ear to the door to make sure there was no one in the hallway before slipping out one of his dirks and pulling the door open. Taking a quick glance in either direction, he stepped out into the hallway, staying low and treading lightly. He took a few steps before waving Vav through and pointing in the opposite direction. Carefully rounding the corner, he spotted a sailor whistling as he walked along, creeping up behind the man, Nihael quickly reached out, placing a hand over his mouth and quickly slit his throat, slicing through the vocal cords. With a soft gurgle, the man went limp and slumped back into Nihael, who dragged him back around the corner and set him down in the room.
Quickly donning the man's clothing over his own, Nihael set back out, hoping it would provide him with enough of a disguise to get close enough to anyone, so that he could stop them before they would be able to raise the alarm. Slipping out, he continued to sneak his way around the ship, carefully taking out random sailors in his search for the Captain.

Vavrin headed in the opposite direction down the hallway, keeping her ears perked up as she followed the sounds of muffled talk. She approached a cabin who's door was slightly ajar and she pressed up against the side of the hall to listen in.
It was the sound of two men's voices. They seemed to be at ease, enjoying a short game of chance before they headed out to report for duty. Vavrin's hand gripped her sword tightly as she waited to spring inside.
"I call your bluff," a man said, his voice deep and gravelly. A chair skidded backward. Then came the other voice. "I've got you, this time. Youre gonna owe me," said the other man, his voice was higher if not slightly nasal. Vavrin slipped inside without hesitation, closing the door as she entered. "Mind if I join you?" she said, flashing her teeth as she raised her hand, knocking one man out of his chair with a single utterance of magic. Drawing her sword, she impaled the still seated man who seemed to shocked to even move. Withdrawing her sword from his chest cavity, Vavrin quickly advanced on the man on the floor, his face contorted in fear. He whimpered pathetically. "Please..!" Without hesitation she brought her sword down, nearly slicing him in half. "I win."
Too easy. Sighing with disgust, she cleaned her sword with one of the dead sailor's hankerchief. She slipped her sword back into her belt and exited the cabin as if nothing had happened. Vavrin continued onward, feeling the boat sway ever slightly in the water.

How fare things?
Going slow.
Bah. Stealth is a waste of time. You should just blow through the place.
We need the ship in sea-worthy condition.
Ah, yes. I "forgot".
Continuing on his way through the ship, Nihael approached a cabin with fairly loud voices coming from it. Hearing a person being addressed as Captain in the room, he sent a quick message to Vavrin along with a general sense of where he was in relation to where they started.
Want me to wait for you? Or should I just go ahead and shake things up?

Vavrin paused momentarily, feeling the familiar brush against her conciousness as she heard Nihael's voice speak to her. Quickening her pace, she turned down a narrow hallway and reached out with her mind to answer him.
No-- you need not wait for me. Do what must be done. I'll be there soon enough.
Feeling pleased that Nihael had seemingly found where the Captain was at, she continued her path until she reached a familiar scene which Nihael had showed her. She wasnt far off now, though she was mindful to listen for any remaining sailors on board. Vavrin could only hope that the twins were getting thier jobs done on the opposite ship just as quickly.
