Hold on,[/i] Yang said, grabbing the chains of the anchor. He gave a sharp tug when he felt that Yin was holding on tightly, and dragged up the anchor in a single pull. Yin pressed his body tight against the chains, slipping through the small opening.
"Who the hell are you?!" a sailor shouted. Yin and Yang looked at eachother, and Yin jumped forward, grabbing the sailor. He grabbed the sailors belt and attached it to the chain, and Yang released it, sending the sailor to his watery death.
To the captain?[/i] Yin asked. Yang nodded and they continued down the ship. The model of the ship was stored in their mind, and they knew exactly where the captain's cabin would be. Yang kicked down the door and Yin stepped in, looking around. He's not here.[/i]
Yang entered the room and Yin exited, looking around the outside of the cabin. Yang moved over to the desk, checking the papers, when it flipped up. Up slashed a sword, Yang pushing back quickly and barely missed being slashed. His shirt, however, was cut clearly in half. "I thought I smelled a rat," the captain said, smiling a toothless grin. He held the sword with confidence, circling Yang.
Yang looked down, examining his cut shirt. "You ruined my new shirt," He said, feeling the cut. He quickly threw it off and removed his sword from its sheath. "She's going to kill me for ruining the shirt again."
"What the hell? Are you daft?" the captain asked. A quick kick to the chest and the captain was knocked against the wall. A bottle of rum fell forward, barely missing his head. Yang flew forward, stabbing the captain in the shoulder.
I'm going to make this ship ride very... very... painful.[/i] Yang told him, turning the blade with the word very. And you're going to live to see your ship burn to the ground, from the inside out.[/i]
Temper, temper, brother,[/i] Yin said, entering the room again. I've already informed your crew about their new leaders, captain, as well as their new destination. This ship is ours now.[/i]

Keeping one of his dirks in his right hand, he slowly opened the door and threw his dirk at the first man he saw, severing the sailor's spinal cord. With a few words, he cut the flow of blood to the heads of the rest of the sailors in the room, leaving only the Captain alive and backed into a corner, pitifully holding a sword between himself and Nihael. Casually strolling over to the dead sailor with Nihael's dirk, Nihael pulled the dirk out of the man's throat, causing a gush of blood to spout from his throat. Disdainfully rubbing the blood off on the man's shirt, he sheathed his blade and walked over to the Captain.
"Care to take a shot?" Nihael said, keeping his arms out, at his sides, palms upturned. After a few seconds of shocked silence, the Captain let out a shout and dove at Nihael, attempting to drive his blade into the rider's chest. Calmly bringing his hands together, Nihael caught the blade between his palms, with a few words, he heated the blade, allowing him to fold it over with ease. Bringing up a knee, he drove it into the man's chest, leaving him gasping for air on the floor of the cabin.
"Although stupid, I do admire your bravery. Sadly, that does not bode well for you. I can't let you live, due to the fact that you will probably try to do something stupid should I leave you to your own devices."
Grasping the sword by the hilt, he smashed the Captain in the temple with the flat of the blade, feeling the man's skull crumple with the impact. Dropping the ruined, bloody weapon, Nihael stepped away from the body, and turned the blood coating him to dust. Brushing the reddish-black dust, he withdrew his swords in anticipation of anyone who might have heard the sounds and headed down the hallway to intercept Vavrin on her way to the cabin.

Vavrin had heard nor seen any sign of a sailor on her way to the Captain's quarters but one who had happened to cross her path. She had been walking briskly to meet up with Nihael when a scruffy looking man who must've weighed a mere 90 lbs turned the hallway with a coil of rope in his hands. A look of confusion registered on his face, and it didnt take him long to try to back off. She stooped down and grabbed the dagger from her boot, raising again to hurl it at the man. It landed squarely in the center of his bony chest, and he fell to the ground making little more than a thud.
Trotting up to retreive the dagger from the body, she saw Nihael a few paces away. She gave him a grin as she slipped the dagger back into her tall boot. He was a welcome sight from the motley crew of sailors who she had encountered on board. "Everything alright? Pay a visit to the dear captain?"

"I convinced him to let us have his boat and cargo. I'm sure he is quite satisfied with the agreement we came to. Now we just have to deal with whoever may be left on this ship. Can't afford to have some twit hiding on board and hoping to be a hero, now can we? Have any trouble on your end?", Nihael spoke as they strode along the hallway in search for any surviving sailors.
"Doesn't seem to be too many of them left, we should be able to be on our way soon." Turning the corner, he almost ran into a sailor skulking around the hallway. Taking advantage of the man's momentary paralysis due to shock, Nihael disemboweled the man. Calmly cleaning his blade off on the squirming sailor's shirt, he stood up and nonchalantly walked on, continuing the search for any other live people on the ship.

We're ready to leave, Yang told Yin. Only one last step.
Yin gave a nod and walked out the door, a rag in hand. He reached the top of the deck and walked towards the flagpole. Lower teh flag, Yin told the sailor. He nodded and lowered it, removing the flag.
"What do you want to put in it's place?" he asked. Yin held out a bloody shirt for the sailor to tie. The sailor looked at it and stared. "Is... is this the captains?"
Would you prefer it to be yours? Yin asked. The sailor gasped slightly and quickly threw up the new "flag." Signal's set, brother.

Vavrin shook her head as they walked on. "No trouble at all. A bit disappointing really," she said as she gave a small laugh.
As she walked, Vavrin reached out with her mind to sweep for anything living in the surrounding area. There was nothing in the area except a rat or two. She was pretty sure everyone was dead now, if not half-dead. She cast a glance over her shoulder at the sailor who Nihael had just slaughtered. All the sailors she had come across were pretty well aged and in a sad state to begin with. "Pathetic, aren't they. I'd say we did them a favour," she said as they turned the corner of the long hallway.

"Ofcourse."
Nihael gave the place one last, quick scan to make sure that the ship was devoid of all life.
"I think it is safe to say this place is clear. Shall we be leaving now?"
Can you come to the deck of the ship? I don't feel like swimming.
I take it you are done with your business.
Yes, we should be able to leave now.
Excellent. I'll pick you up on the deck.
Thank you.
"I have a ride waiting for me on the deck. Never did enjoy swimming with clothing on. Care to join me?"
Nihael spoke as he made his way to the front of the ship.

"Sounds good. Let's get out of here. I find the stench of the ship offensive." she said, following him as they eventually came to the front section. The ship was in various states of disarray, mangled bloody bodies scattered here and there, broken bits of wood splintered off and such. None of it really mattered any, so long as the shipments were unharmed. Vavrin looked forward to emerging on the deck and breathing in clean air.

A thump was followed by the ship tipping down towards the front.
"Our ride is here."
Exiting the cabins onto the deck, a majority of which was taken up by a large black dragon.
"Hello Onyxia"
Have fun?
"Bah. Wasn't much of a challenge. Most them were old fools who probably didn't even remember how to hold a sword properly anymore. Atleast none of them are left anymore."
Nihael placed his foot in one of the stirrups of the saddle and quickly lifted himself onto Onyxia's back. Leaning over slightly, he proffered a hand to Vavrin. "Need a lift?"

"I appreciate it," she said as she took his hand in hers and lifted herself up and onto Onyxia's back. She looked down upon the ship as it bobbed and bounced slightly in the water, the hot sun reflecting sharply off of the water's surface. Situating herself comfortably, she felt the slightest breath of air play across her face. Breathing deeply, it felt refreshing in comparison to the stuffy insides of the ship.
She could only imagine what it would be like after the corpses of the sailors decomposed and rotted in the sticky rooms. Vavrin smirked. A pleasant surprise to whomever came to claim the ship and unload its supplies for the Empire, she thought.

First picking up their stuff from the shore, they then headed to the other ship. landing on the deck with a loud thud and creaking boards. Casually dismounting, Nihael quickly scanned the deck for any sign of life.
"From the fact that no one is running up here to check on things, I am assuming the Twins succeeded in taking over the ship. Hopefully they left enough people alive to crew the damned thing."
Striding over to the door, he pulled it open and headed into the ship. Mentally scanning through the ship, he came across a few sailors bebfore he finally located the Twins.
Done yet?

Yang pulled his sword out of the sailors body, blood running down the blade and across the floor. Just finished off the last of them who had an idea in his head to rebel, Yang said, cleaning off his blade. He looked down at a shipmate and threw him a mop. Clean up the mess. The others, hands on deck.
Yin went up to the deck and waved at Nihael and Vavrin. The crew walked behind him and started to get to work quickly. Yang has something to inform you, Vavrin, Yin said, smiling slightly. He walked towards the wheel of the ship and got ready to leave. Yang slowly came up the stairs, shirt sliced in half and looked over at Vavrin, and shrugged his shoulders.

Vavrin eyed the crew with disgust as she followed behind Nihael. She greeted Yin with a raised eyebrow. "What is it, then?" she said impatiently, shifting her maroon eyes upon Yang as he decended down the stairs.
She stepped forward to face him, arms crossed. Her eyes narrowed as he shrugged his shoulders so casually, shirt in tatters as she had become accustomed to seeing."Don't shrug your shoulders at me. Once again you have become careless in your fight. Why am I not surprised," she growled, gesturing at his torn shirt with her pale hand. "I suspect you wish me to mend it, am I correct? Answer me, Yang."

I could travel like this if you prefer, Yang said, running his hands down the cut of the shirt. Yin climbed a rope quickly and untied the sails.
A wind is approaching, he said, jumping into the crows nest. It should pull us out of the docks with ease.
He smiled and looked up at Yin, who was descending the rope and moving towards the head of the ship. It's your decision, I suppose. He slipped off the shirt and placed it onto the railing of a stairway as he drew the anchor. A gust sent the ship forward and out of the docks.

"I have no bloody preferance, and I could care less about you cavorting around topless or in a burlap sack, for that matter." she said, raising her voice. His indifference only served to anger her more. "Don't you dare ever come to me again for anything." That was the last time she would ever waste an ounce of her energy acting as Yang's personal seamstress. Insolent little twit...
Vavrin seethed on the inside with annoyance. She couldnt stand another moment having to look at him, lest be on the same ship as he. Just the sight of his face would infuriate her. It took every bit of self-restraint not to backhand him for his attitude. As far as she was concerned, she'd had all she could take of both of them, for that matter. She glowered menacingly as he walked away from her, her eyes flicking upward at Yin in the crow's nest and then away again.

Pushing away from the railing that he had been relaxing against while watching the exchange between Vavrin and Yang, Nihael strolled up to Vavrin.
"Irritating, aren't they? Wouldn't it be so easy to just run them through and tell ol' Galby that they died in Narda? Its not as though they are very important figures. They can easily be replaced. Useless fools are just tagging along and are excess baggage most of the time anyway. Well, I'll leave you to think about that, I'm going to scout ahead with Onyxia. I prefer the air to being grounded most of the time, and I hold no love for sailing."
Walking away, Nihael called back over his shoulder, "You're free to join me if you like."

She brushed aside the wine coloured strand of hair from her face. "Actually, I'd love to join you," she said, her demeanor changing. Vavrin certainly didnt have to think twice about that. She caught up with him. She thought about what he said... Irritating, indeed. It was almost putting it too nicely.
"Being on the ground isnt so bad," she replied, glancing sideways at the Rider with a shrug. "It really depends on what you choose to do there, I'd say. And who you are with."

"So it is merely a case of me being in the wrong company and doing the wrong things?"
Lifting an eyebrow, he paused while hoisting himself onto the saddle and looked over at Vavrin. "Who do you suggest I keep in my company and what we are to do?"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nihael spotted the somewhat battered city of Teirm in the distance and quickly relayed the message to Yin and Yang. "It's still seems a bit battered but they are making some progress with the repairs."
As the city approached, Nihael began to relax a bit more, visualizing the end of this 'foray into adventure'. Although it did have a few high points, it was rather tedious. "So, what are you planning on doing after we are done?"

Vavrin considered, thinking about it for a minute. "Well, I suppose the responsible thing to do would be report back to Lord Galbatorix, assure him of my utter loyalty and servitude as always," she muttered, rolling her eyes. "Whatever would he do without his Shade? Once I have fed his ego to his satisfaction, I'll be dismissed, free to do as I please, when I please." Not exactly one of Vavrin's favourite duties, it was more of a formality than anything else. Questions asked, answers given, et cetera et cetera... she was all too familiar with it. The true question was, was she feeling responsible?

"Sounds... fun."
We're here.
Good. We should set down near the docks so we can get things set up. The sooner we do that, the sooner we can leave.
Yin, Yang, We'll get things prepped for the ships arrival and the arrangements afterwards, we should have it done before you get to the dock.[/i]
Landing in a relatively clear area on the dock, Onyxia was quick to draw a crowd, a crowd that was quick to disperse when the saw her face and the riders upon her back. "Hopefully we will be able to get a Captain and crew to go retrieve the other ship soon so that we can leave as soon as Yin and Yang arrive."
